VERY impressed with this place - our waitress was friendly and attentive, even when she got slammed by the dinner rush. The food and flavor was excellent. Music was at a decent level - not too loud or too low - so people could talk without yelling. Drinks were refreshing. We didn't feel rushed and very much enjoyed the restaurant and atmosphere.

I had an amazing time at Eddie’s Irish Pub in Prairie Du Chien! The fish platter and Reuben sandwich were absolutely delicious. The homemade coleslaw was a standout with potato wedges with a side of homemade ranch! Pairing it all with a Spotted Cow on tap made for a fantastic meal. Highly recommend!

I've been coming here for awhile and seating myself. The service I received today was absolutely unacceptable and it started as soon as we walked in the door snardy comment that could've been unsaid. About seating our selves. Multiple people came in after us and seated themselves also and she said nothing. But she shook her sign at us and said oh well I guess your friend knows whats she's doing seating herself. Really snotty. Completely displeased. We’ve been in the area for 25+ years and this was our first time here; not sure why, just didn’t notice it.
We truly wanted to love it and before our food came I mentioned that we should bring our family back. The cheese curds were really good in my opinion, but my Cheese-head husband said, “it’s hard to screw up fried cheese.”
Initially everything that was served to us looked good. My husband said that his burger was ok. I ordered a side salad (that should have been brought out before the other food). After a couple bites I realized that there were dark disgusting blobs of bad lettuce. I don’t mind picking out a couple, but the more I dug, the more there were. I set it aside. My waitress came by the table, and I asked her to please take it and I pointed out all the blobs that I had set aside on a separate plate before I gave up. She said eww and I assumed that she was going to take it off of our bill.
My Ruben had very little meat on it. It looked like a few broken up pieces of pot roast. Not at ALL like the reviews of the pastrami sandwiches that enticed us to come in!!
I was stunned when our bill came and my salad was still on it! Never in all my years of dining out have I ever had this happen to me. I questioned the waitress and she came back and said that the manager/owner took $2.50 off since I had eaten part of it. At this point I couldn’t help but get upset. She did take it off the bill but my question is, is $3.50 worth your reputation as a restaurant in a town with so much other competition? If you’re so desperate for the $5.99, why wouldn’t you offer to replace it? (Your cost of MAYBE $.50??) My husband did tip the waitress but we won’t be going back.

Just had our second visit to Eddie's in the last 18 months and we have been very satisfied both times. Great Irish decor, beer offerings, and atmosphere. I want to single out one employee after this visit, however. We were in on Thursday night for dinner, about 6:45 pm, and Eddie's was fairly busy. I would guess there were about 12 tables, one of them had at least 8 people and the guests were spread out over the entire restaurant. After a while, I realized that our waitress Shelby was doing EVERYTHING. She was waiting on every single table, running her own food and drinks, clearing and cleaning all of the tables, and closing tabs with guests at the hostess desk. I was drinking Diet Pepsi and I never waited more than 2 minutes for both of my refills. Shelby was on it. I was extremely impressed with how efficient, quick, and hard working she was. I hope that her efforts are noticed and recognized. We will certainly be back on our next visit to PDC. Thank you for great service, Shelby!

After we went hiking at Pikes Peak, we wanted to go somewhere for lunch. We picked this place and so glad we did. We all ordered wings (BBQ and the dry rub), Rachel Ruben, Fish sandwich, Philly cheese steak, Bacon Bourbon Burger, fries, onion rings and potato wedges. It was all delicious. First of all dont do to-go orders so had to leave my dog in hot car. They want you to sit at bar to order. Im not sure cause they dont think ppl will pay but if thats the case, quit being lazy and set up pay on website.

2nd the strips they make are something you can get a quick stop at 2x the price.

3rd chilli cheese fries are huge box so that they can sell their concession stand grade fries at a higher price.

Lastly, i head great things about this fast food restaurant but very disappointed. Im not sure if their battling inflation but they should take note of mcgregor’s restaurants that are only opem partially the week so they can focus more on quality then quantity. Thats it

We opted to have dinner out here tonight. It was the WORST service we've ever had here. Even my 14 year old daughter noticed. When we got there, the waitress was too busy explaining to some guys at the bar how she wrecked her liver at college to bring us menus. When they left, she finally came over. Got our drinks, WORST margarita ever. Thankfully, the food was spot on, but that was only after we watched our waitress and the cook do shots behind the bar. 🙄 The waitress never came back until we were done eating, then was finally able to be troubled to offer us refills on sodas. Felt like we were intruding on their personal space. Super unfortunate change because this used to be a favorite spot to eat.

On a road trip through the midwest, we ended up staying one night in town. We didn’t know much about the town, and it turns out this town goes to bed early. IN a town that closes up really early, We found the one restaurant that was still open past 6 pm.
We chose Eddie’s as a result of necessity, luckily it turned out well.

We ordered a chicken sandwich and a steak sandwich with peppers onions, mushrooms, and provolone. And a couple of beers.
The food was very well presented - and portions were sizeable. 
The meals tasted really good. 
My steak sandwich was properly cooked and tender.
The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

The prices at this restaurant were very good.
Considering it was the only place to choose in town, it probably would have also been the choice if there were other options.

We are glad they were open.

One of the owners at the bar was talking bad about us because we rode our motorcycles there. Not friendly to bikers. Basically this place is a locals only establishment as far as I'm concerned.
