First time here and we were so glad we stopped and tried it out. My omelette was outstanding and my wife loved her salad. It was literally the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Breakfast is my favorite meal, and I will usually always pick breakfast places. We will definitely be back here many times.

First time trying this restaurant. The overall experience was just OK. The restaurant is nicely decorated and there are many choices on the menu. We tried their Los Altos eggs Benedict and their farmer’s skillet. The chorizo in the Los Altos Benedict is very spicy and I am a chorizo connoisseur. It has too much heat for your average person. The poached eggs were over done and the potatoes had too much pepper, that’s all we tasted. The farmers skillet was good but nothing to get excited about. Their juice glasses are large!
The service was good and she was very pleasant. However, our server never checked if we wanted more water even when our glass was empty.
One more comment, they don’t offer iced coffee! Unfortunately, that set the tone from the beginning.

There are more than enough tempting selections for breakfast and lunch. I go for the eggs benedict . There are a few to choose from. Im usually there with 5 church friends on Wednesday morning. They've all enjoyed their breakfasts and comment on the large portions. The dining area is quite roomy. Booths leave room to spare with 3 adults per side and could seat 4 per as long as im on the outside! Tables are spaced far enough apart for comfort and privacy. Staff are pleasant and efficient. Its not unusual to find the owner visiting patrons and serving tables with a smile.

Had lunch here today.
As usual the service and food was excellent.
My only problem was, the pumpkin soup I ordered was absolutely delicious, but it had bacon in it, which I cannot eat. When I asked what the soup was today, I was told Pumpkin. No mention was made of there being bacon in it and it never crossed my mind that bacon would be in pumpkin soup. I do not eat it because I'm allergic to it, and I'm paying the price now but will be fine tomorrow, but what about people that can't eat it for religious reasons?

The very inviting exterior finally got us to gather the family here for a breakfast together. There were some interesting specials, but I latched onto shrimp & grits which I usually enjoy. This did not disappoint. The English muffins were very layered and delicious, and more so with honey butter. Portions were a little larger than expected while also being a little less expensive than other local breakfast locations.

I really wanted to dine on the rooftop but the weather was rainy. A good selection of breakfast items means we’ll be back on dry morning.

Went here for lunch yesterday with my good friend and it was our first time stopping here. So glad we did because the food was so good! My friend had a Greek omelette with fruit and hash browns and I had a steak quesadilla with fruit. YUM!! The staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. In town for a concert. Arrived on Saturday around 11AM. Busy, but only waited about 10 mins.

Service: hostesses were efficient and kind. Our server was a very young man (Eli, i think) who took good care of us and was funny. Food came out fast. 5 stars

Even with the jalapeños it was just the right heat for me. 5 stars. Steak and egg skillet was very good. 4.5 stars. Pancake was your standard pancake. 4 stars. I really like the english muffin well toasted and buttered. 4 stars.

I have visited this establishment twice, hoping the first was just a fluke with it being so new. Both times, we were not greeted by the host and had to make it known we were there. Then when seated, we have waited incredibly long to be greeted both times. The second time visiting, I had to flag down a server when she started greeting a table that was seated after us. The food took an unreasonable amount of time to come out and was mediocre at best. The servers are polite but just feel the overall service is lacking. I was really looking forward to a good experience as we have needed a place like this in East Troy but unfortunately won't be returning.

Went for breakfast and coffee; it was terrible. First bite of sausage had a big bone and it looked like brown and serve sausage. The pancakes tasted bitter. There were two tables and we had to flag down waitress to get the bill. They serve cheap products, and I won't be going back.

This is the best breakfast from Lake Geneva to Waukesha hands down. Never thought I would see this type of little cafe/restaurant in East Troy. The real rating for this place is 4.8. The only thing I myself did not care for was the omelets. I cook mine completely different, nevertheless; don’t really mind too much because I’ve enjoyed everything else on the menu.

We stopped in for breakfast early this morning after discovering that our original choice (another local establishment) wasn't serving until 8:00 AM.  That turned out to be a blessing in disguise!

Overall, the food was very good; much better than one would usually get at a typical breakfast restaurant.

The meals were thoughtfully constructed with obvious care, and the coffee was on point!

I'd recommend the pancakes, as they have a depth of flavor and lightness of texture that is a rare find.

I have no doubt that we will return.

Really great addition to East Troy. Their menu has a mix of traditional breakfast items plus some more unique offerings and fun twists on some of the sweet breakfast options. This place is absolutely fantastic! We’ve been twice now since they opened. It’s very clean and the food is great. The steak skillet or breakfast burrito is a must, and my toddler loves the Sarah’s Rainbow pancakes. The staff is also so kind and on the ball. I hope Eggxcellent is here to stay!

Great little cafe I only found out about through my NextDoor app - thought I'd give it a try and it was very good! Rustic decor, open floor plan so the noise level was a bit higher than I prefer, but overall I enjoyed my Traditional Breakfast and the service was really good.
