Super friendly worker and owner. Top notch Indian food. Not busy. Great way to support a local small business owner. Hole in the wall has the best grub. Definitely worth visiting once or twice a month.

Extremely small portions and insanely overpriced! The garlic naan was SOO hard and inedible. Two orders of the naan only gave you 2 SMALL pieces of naan, which other places give you two per order. Sooo sad Jays is closed on Monday, never again with this place. $40 later me and my kids are hardly fed and my fiance had to burn a frozen pizza instead. Jays would never.

Tandoori chicken was nicely grilled with a bit of heat. Lamb curry (requested hot and spicy) was nice and tender. Definitely excited for another visit to try the rest of the menu.

Everything was excellent! Went with Tandoori Chicken and Lamb Curry (definitely suggest requesting hot and spicy). There was only one person working, but she did an excellent job of taking orders while cooking and serving. A nice surprise inside a gas station!

Don't let the exterior fool you. It's fooled me! Day after day I would drive by and not notice. What is Ekam? I have no clue.
Once I discovered that this place features authentic food from India, I gave myself pat on the back for finding this gem, hidden in plain sight on one half of a gas station!
The food was fresh, yummy, and presented well!

Horrible. Last week, I made an online order, and they totally disregarded the time requested via the online order process on their website. This meant the food sat for over an hour before I could pick it up. I received an email saying the food was being prepared. I tried calling many times only to get a "this mailbox is full" message. Well, I thought I'd give them one more try, as I was working in Sheboygan tomorrow. I made an order via their website, making very sure to pick tomorrow with the appropriate time. Well, shortly after I made the order, they sent me an email saying "Your order is being prepared...." I immediately called, but received the "this mailbox if full" message. I tried a number of times. Finally, someone picked up. They couldn't understand the issue. They offered no apology or remedy. They simply kept repeating "your order is ready now!" Also, last time I ordered vegetable biryani. It even said that on the receipt when I picked up the food. It was chicken biryani. They do not have the basics of operating a restaurant figured out.
Update: an hour later the employee called me back and offered to make the food again tomorrow at the right time. I'm not willing to go through the hassle, but that response (which should've been the response on the phone the first time), is certainly better than nothing.

There was hair in the chicken biryani I ordered to be delivered to my sister for her birthday dinner. I called the restaurant about it. The guy hung up on me after listening to my disappointing story. Then I called again, this time a lady answers. I asked her the same thing I asked the man, “what will you do about this? There is hair found in the food! Will you deliver my sister a clean cooked meal or will you refund money for the food she can’t even eat?” The lady kept saying how she will cook me a better meal right to my taste next time. I told her I don’t live in town. I’m 2.5 hrs away. Tonight was a meal I wanted my sister to enjoy for her birthday. And there is hair in it! The lady says she has no delivery person to bring my sister a new dish. And that she would refund me after 24 hrs. I just checked, she didn’t refund me so that’s why I’m here writing this review. When there is hair in your food, they don’t care to fund. This is the first and last time we will be eating or ordering food from this place. It’s unfortunate that they dealt with my situation this way. If they would have taken cared of us as customers appropriately, this review would not need to be here.

Oh man, I never expected to find such delicious indian food at a gas station! The Mrs. and I have been here twice now, and will visit again. It tasted just like she made it fresh from scratch just for us! Butter chicken, butter paneer, tikka masala, chicken curry, pakoras, samosas, and hot fresh buttered naan! It was too delicious to not finish every bit!
And now they've expanded the menu! Aloo Tikki was so tasty, as was the lamb curry. I can't wait to try their chili paneer!

The food was a good quality, proportion and flavor. The mango lassi tasted like it had real mangoes and was sweet and creamy. The samosas were crispy on the outside, while being moist and delicious on the inside. All our dishes were tasty treat.

A smell similar to moth balls hit us as we entered the door. There were annoying beeps from an older woman compulsively smashing the buttons on gambling machines just inside the door. The sound effects of the gambling machines was an unwelcome nuisance that lasted the entire time we were there, which was nearly an hour. We had butter chicken and a lentil dish with an order of naan. The curries were lacking and somewhat bland, the naan was fine but the rice that was served with them was old and had clearly been sitting in a rice cooker for hours, it was gloppy and had browned sections where it was sitting on the bottom of the rice cooker. I understand free rice with curry dishes is new, but since it took 30+ minutes to prepare our dishes, it would have been nice to have some fresh cooked rice instead of the old rice from the cooker.

I placed an Order through DoorDash and spent $40, I was given no rice😂 I’ve been in here a lot and my food always comes with rice. When I called to let them know they forgot it, the woman rudely said I had to buy it for $4 it and that rice doesn’t come with any of the meals. Imma stick to Jays.

Ordered 2 chicken dishes (masala and curry), extra rice, and 2 garlic Naan. Both dishes were subpar at best. The sauces seemed to be watered down, and they lacked depth and flavor. Naan was ok, but imo overpriced, $2.99/piece is pretty high compared to the many other mom and pop Indian restaurants we have gone to. Basmati rice was very plain and lacked fragrance and depth as well. Overall, it left us unsatisfied. This place is out of my way, so we likely won't return since everything was lacking, and they also did not have any goat dishes, only lamb. My recommendation is to go to Jay's instead, otherwise Spices on the other end of town.

Food was pretty good. First time eating here and the family that runs the restaurant were nice. I loved the samosa and the garlic naan. Only wish the lamb curry portion was more, otherwise it’s still yummy. The chicken was okay, seemed like something I could’ve made at home. Overall I enjoyed the food.

Delicious! We ordered two Indian dishes to split, butter chicken and mutter paneer. Both were delicious. The garlic naan and rice were perfect. Our little kids split a burger with fries and were happy with it. The chai was also tasty!

Worst excuse for indian food i have ever had .Food was not cooked with real Indian spices the portions are so small for the $ 45.00 i paid for 2 dishes & 3 bread & she did not want to give me rice with what they call karma ,the lady was so very rude and disrespectful and told me I had no idea about the value of a American dollar. I'm a professional driver so I have ate Indian food all over the USA . Her husband had to come & defuse the situation.

Delicious paneer sahi with garlic naan. Ekam's appears to be a family run restaurant attached to a service station/convenience store. There is table service and the place is clean. If you don't want Indian food, there are also American selections, burgers and the like.

I wish I could give a 0 star. It took them 40 minutes to prepare one item. They are a true fraud because the cashew rice they brought was three cashews in a bowl of rice. The paneer curry was watery and barely had any paneers. The samosas were pure grease. The bathrooms looked like they weren't cleaned ever and dishes were chipped and dirty. I'm so disappointed. I wish I hadn't wasted 30 dollars including 5 for tip for which nothing was done

Located in the gas station building, it's a bit out of the way. Home style food is quite good but a very linited menu. I had curry pakora with rice. This is a one person operation so there's a little wait, but worth it. As is the times, it's on the pricey side with just one, larger, on the crispy side naan as an extra. I had to ask for a glass of water. Drinks are limited. One doesn't come here for the atmosphere. Parking in front is a bit confusing with both spots marked and no parking message over the lines. Tip jar. She takes credit cards.

I was in the mood for some Indian food so Colo me surprised when I saw Ekams near me when I looked up Indian food! The restaurant is connected to a gas station but don't let that fool you! It's a nice little place with great service to boot and feels like a GOOD added on restaurant to the gas station. The restaurant itself was pretty spacious, easy to move around in and very clean on the inside and out. The service, who was one friendly lady I HOPE was not working alone was quick with service, polite, and very nice to talk to. The food was excellent on all ends. I got some hardy chicken Tika Misala, rice, Samosas, and naan bread woth this great chickpea dish and ALL of it was scrumptious, fresh and tasty as all heck. No complaints, Ekams is a great restaurant despite being attached to the gas station and I hope to visit it one again in the future!
Pictures are the best I could take of the inside and outside of the building minus the gas station entrance, menu, and food!
