Adrian is rude, argumentative, and really not great with customer service. My family frequents this restaurant weekly and I came back to ask my order to be fixed- that was apparently not an option.

My dad placed the order for Steak street tacos no cilantro, Adrian asked him if he wanted cheese, lettuce, and flour/corn tortillas. Why? Not sure.

Honestly, not a big deal, but when I brought it back I asked if he could please fix it. He tried telling me it’s what we ordered and that’s what the menu says. So I picked up the menu and showed him what my dad asked for and told him I’ve never been asked those questions while I’ve ordered this because the menu clearly lists out the ingredients. He continued to be rude, when I called him out on it he tried to play the no no no- I’m not being rude. 😂 I gave him the box back because I didn’t want it, it’s not what we ordered. As soon as some coworkers came up- he tried to switch up his energy. Nahhh my guy. I just simply asked you to make the order correctly and you just wanted to argue and try to tell me that’s what the menu says.

You had an opportunity to make it right or help me come to an understanding, but instead we just wasted money on food we didn’t even eat. Not impressed and thanks for making a scene instead of resolving a simple fix. Terrible customer service.

We had their food delivered so I can not comment on the atmosphere. However, our door dash person arrived before our order was completed and whom ever your chef was tonight was top notch. We have had imo 3.5-4.0 food in the past because our seafood has been slightly overcooked. Tonight it was absolutely perfect and I hope the chef gets the kuddos for a job well done.

Went today for an early dinner and everything was absolutely delicious! The chips, salsa, and bean dip were the best we've had there. I chose the seafood chimichanga, and my husband had the big burrito cancun. Again, delicious! My definite favorite item I've eaten here. We'll definitely be returning!

Food was good. What happened to the service? We were seated, then served drinks and chips right away. We then waited for 5 other tables to be seated and their orders taken before ours. Our order was wrong, so one person in our party had to wait to eat. The main entree was missing and the side order was wrong.
Further, the waitress never checked on us/ our drinks until we went and got her.

We were the first group in the restaurant (no other tables were seated when we entered), so it was confusing why we had such a lack of service.

Kind of ironic that when the manager seated us, I told him (and my wife) that she Was in for a treat... "this is the best Mexican restaurant in the state".

The service definitely was not up to par compared to any restaurant we have visited this past year.

I absolutely love this place. I have become a regular and the staff goes out of their way to take care of me. When they see me pull up my table is ready before I get in the door. My favorite beer is already on the table and today they even had my usual order already cooking. They make me feel like a VIP. It does not get better than this!

I usually have people who leave reviews as a lot of people just nothing better to do than not be happy. But pretty much everything about our order was unsatisfactory. No seasoning on any of the beef in my taco or side, and also tasted burnt. As well as the chips were stale. The shrimp and scallop came with a lake of rice as if it were supposed to be a soup dish. Everything seemed like it was days old and kept in a container without the proper covering. Would 0 stars if I could.

Beware if paying with a credit card. This is not the first time that the tip they tried to put through on my card was higher than what I left. In this case, I left a $6 cash tip on the table and they tried putting through a $60 tip. Thankfully my credit card company caught it.

I am usually not one to leave reviews, let alone a bad one. However, my boyfriend and I came here to order food to go and the waitress did not seem happy to be taking our order at all. No smile, no greeting, nothing. As someone who works in the food industry, I know that you’re supposed to make the customer feel welcome. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. When a different waiter came back with our order, he was going to send us on our way without paying. We brought it to his attention that we had not paid yet and thus, paid for our meal. I do not have pictures of the food but I can say that it was one of the most sloppy, thrown together dishes I have ever seen. I felt awful after eating it and so did my partner. I have since read the reviews and will not be coming back. The location on Northland has much better service and better tasting food. I will say, I am a fan of the interior design as it is very festive and lively.

We placed an order online on a Sunday evening, the oreder was prepared wrong as we had one special instruction to leave onions out of one of the orders. The instructions weren't followed. Called spoke with the cook who took and prepared the order very apologetic said to call back Monday and speak with the manager so I did,while doing so was told its not their problem take it up with uber which was done and uber said it's on the restaurant. El Azteca is one of the only places I feel comfortable taking my young kids out to eat. It is spacious with large booths and the food is always quick and delicious. The servers are absolutely fantastic and so welcoming to children. They are always trying to make them smile and treat them like their own! This is the best family friendly restaurant in Appleton!

I was a regular there with my family and family members.
I come there or used to come there often. Never had an issue until today, 08/11/2024
One of the issues wasn't just the food, but you have a lady there with attitude issues.
She seemed very bothered and annoyed when I called and when I showed up to show the quality of the tacos I received.
You, as a food and service business, have expectations of quality and service. I understand you won't be perfect all the time, but it's never been an issue.
Today, Sunday 08/11/2024, around 6:38 pm
I ordered 9 tacos as take out.
All tacos I requested of corn tortilla. 3 of them Mexican Style the rest American Styles. As a regular when we've ordered them before, so I know your food well.
I got home and noticed some of the tacos were flour tortilla, no problem there. Then I opened the last one. I mean, you can look at the picture yourself and let me know if that's your quality.
I showed up around 7:20 pm. to return one order of tacos as soon as I walked in.
This lady says, "Are you here to complain or cause trouble?" Who talks like that to customers.
I asked for the manager, and she said she was the manager. I opened the container and showed her the tacos in the picture. I asked if that was your quality. She said that's how you make them. I told her I come there often, I have never had tacos like this, and when I requested them corn tortilla, it had never been an issue.
She said she would make me new ones, and I replied I'd rather take my refund on those. When she gave me the refund, I asked her if she wanted the food back.
She said she didn't want that garbage back (her words in Spanish, no quiero ese cochinero, llevate ese cochinero contigo).
I asked if there was a trash can, and she said, "Not here. Take that garbage with you (her words in Spanish, no ay aqui llevate ese cochinero) she proved my point right there.
So I walked out and dumped them in trash can in front of your establishment.

It's just sad to deal with people like that, especially at a restaurant.

The food was not authentic. You can tell a lot is Americanized. The restaurant smelled like sewerage when we walked in unfortunately.

The older male waiters were respectful & kind to my husband & I but our young male waiter made us very uncomfortable.

We both felt he was over friendly with myself & I don’t like men undermining my husbands authority & presence. It made for an extremely uncomfortable afternoon.

We had our second visit today and had a great time all the way around. Margaritas were on special today for Mother's Day and I definitely enjoyed mine! We ordered a side of Guacamole to go with our meals and the complimentary Chips with Salsa and Bean Dip, which was great! The Chicken Suiza Enchiladas and Carne Asada Tacos were delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. Looking forward to our next visit.

I used to go here with my parents growing up. And now I go for date night with my boyfriend. And it's absolutely amazing environment friendly staff amazing food!! The atmosphere is perfect and is a great place for friends to come together. If you want a little privacy or if you come in larger groups there is room.
The place is very clean in the bathrooms too!!
When you walk into this place, you're always greeted very well and they are friendly!!
I'm kind of thinking this is a great place to work because it seems like the staff also gets along very well together...

I was in a party of 2 and was told on entry the wait would be 5-10 minutes and that we didn’t need to take a number because she would just remember it. Multiple significantly bigger parties skipped ahead of us before another employee pointed out after 35 minutes that we hadn’t been seated yet. Strike one.

Friendly waiter, took our drink order and asked if we needed a few minutes to decide and we said yes. The staff passed us literally dozens of times and we weren’t helped again for probably 15 minutes. Then the drinks were brought out and we ordered our food. We then waited another 60 minutes before asking about our food, which we were told our food would be out in a few minutes. Felt forgotten, disrespected and not valued as a customer throughout the entire experience. We will not be back to this location

Eisenhower location- no running sink water at all in the women’s rest room. At least the toilets flushed… we were there at noon, I ordered fish tacos. They were not served with beans as stated on the menu. Just rice. It is LUNCH time. I ordered off the Lunch menu, $9.99 was the price. I was served the dinner menu Apparently, 3 tacos not 2, and was charged the Dinner price of $14.99. I wonder how the lady employees washed their hands immediately after using the restroom….
