My husband and I stopped here to eat. Being in a gas station i wasn't sure how it would be. I ordered the crispy chicken melt which was very good. My husband got the gyro signature cheese burger. The thing was huge. Loaded with meat. It was one of the best burgers he has ever had. This is definitely a hidden jem. I highly recommend checking this place out. Absolutely amazing. 👏

This little Kenosha Gem is GREAT! From the Gyros, all the way to the pizza puffs, burgers, chicago style hot dogs etc. Generous proportions , quality meals and they're also pretty fast. Owners are excellent, friendly and make you feel at home. Aside from the food , I love that the owner runs Fox news on his TV and loves the country he lives in, one of the only mainstream medias that report the truth and he doesn't care what anyone thinks, he keeps what he likes on the TV because its HIS business. If you dont like it then don't go there , he doesnt deserve a bad review because of your stupid political views and that it upset your little feelings. Get a grip this place is fantastic!

Took the family there for dinner. The wife and I got the Super Gyro and the kids got the Birria tacos and a Burrito. We all left stuffed. Gyros are the best in town along with the Birria. In fact we had to get another order of tacos to go before we left.

Horrible costumer service,I came with my parents to get giros, upon arrival the male was eating and have to get up to take are order.I have bad back and walk in e struggling to walk, went to sit to the closes chair to place the order letting my parents to order first and I ask him about the posted menu y he said is right there whit gesture,I was about to ask again and he said"get up to do exercise" at that point I decided not to order anything.While my parents waited for there food I ask for the bathroom?the answer the I receive was can't you wait I'm busy.No body was in the restaurant but us.He give the food to my parents and said something to my mom and went to sit down and start eating.WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EVERY ENCOUNTER!

The Gyro was terrible! The pita bread was so stale when you folded it in half it crumbled all over the place!! I asked for no onions and when I got home there were no tomatoes on my sandwich and a whole bag of raw onions I will never go there again, sad it was highly recommended they haven’t eaten there for a while🤮🤬

**Review of El Fuego Gyros
My recent visit to El Fuego Gyros was nothing short of disappointing due to the abysmal customer service I encountered. Upon entering the store and politely asking the first employee if there was a restroom available, I was met with a blunt "No, sorry." Not satisfied with this response, I asked another worker, who contradicted the first and directed me to the restroom.

However, my ordeal did not end there. As I made my way to the restroom, one of the Gyros workers rudely interjected, stating that the restroom was for customers only. When I calmly informed him that I was indeed a customer, he had the audacity to ask me, "What did you buy?"
Overall, my experience at El Fuego Gyros was tarnished by the unprofessional behavior of their staff. It is evident that customer service is not a priority at this establishment, and I would strongly advise others to reconsider dining here if they value basic courtesy and respect from the staff. I was made to feel unwelcome and interrogated, as if my status as a paying customer was under scrutiny.

Order from grubhub and they will screw you, much like a few of the other ratings. My gyro had literally 4 to 5 strips of meat in it with tons of onions. First time getting food from this restaurant voted the Best in Kenosha year after year! We ordered to go and it was GREAT! There are a few tables where you can eat inside. Everything was made fresh to order and tasted great! We ordered gyros, cheese fries, and Mexican corn!! All tasted awesome! The homemade tzatziki sauce was fresh and yummy! The gyro meat was a ver generous portion and the soft, fresh pita was overflowing with abundance! We will be back to try other menu items.

This place is unbelievable I had big Al's burrito (chicken) the wife had the mega gyro, teen had dbl bacon cheese burger, the lil one had cheese burger. The burgers are fresh nit frozen, the burrito was awesome & fat filled with goodies, the gyro was amazing, the sauce for it is homemade & u can taste the difference. The sauces for the burrito (green & red) are homemade as well very good. We drove 40 miles to try this & it is very good. It's in a gas station but don't let that fool u. Ordered two burritos (carne asada and al pastor), pizza puff, and the reuben sandwich. Couldn’t tell the difference in flavor with the burritos, both tasted the same and a little too salty for me. The reuben was subpar. Surprisingly, the pizza puff was my favorite, had a little kick to it.

Let me start off by saying YUMMM! Too say I was impressed would be an understatement! They probably have the best gyros in town! My kids are not gyro fans, so they had burgers, which they were even impressed with! The people that were working were so very nice! I called ahead and ordered, so there wasn't much of a wait at all. I would have never expected a restaurant inside of a gas station to be this fabulous! But let's be honest, it's always the ones you don't expect! They did have little tables you could sit and eat at. Again, it is a little hidden restaurant that is inside a gas station/liquor store, so the atmosphere was just that! I don't mind that sorta thing, If you do, then call ahead and take it to go! Tiny, dingy, hole-in-the-wall place but the food is amazing with good prices.
People will probably gripe about the setting and maybe one day get their way with a renovation or move to a new location and then the prices will go up and quality will go down. For now, it's a perfect hidden gem.
My advice to the owner would be to put up a box for donations toward renovation for everyone who gripes about the setting. They'll soon learn to keep their judgemental garbage to themselves. Everyone wants beautiful until they're paying for it.
