I was there recently, the new owners showed her a consular identification and the owner said she had never seen this, you can tell them to make the biggest numbers for you, then they asked, they will want chips and salsa while they wait? then the same owner comes to learn and I take the order for our drinks, we ordered micheladas and they never asked what beer they wanted, and 30 minutes later she returns from which beer they want her michelada, forget to ask, she said. I was alone, then people started to arrive and everyone (white people) was brought their chips and sauce without asking if they wanted them, oh no, they also brought their drinks before us and the food in the same way, then she comes and says how everything was here is her account, without even asking, they want something else, what I thought is that she only wants white people in her restaurant, I thought it was very racist on her side and that has Latino people working for her. Neither my friends nor my family will return there, before we visited the place with the previous owners up to twice a week with bills of up to 300 dollars per table but we will not return I do not recommend it at all.

The establishment is pretty, everything was clean.
But the service, I mean the service was awfuuuuul.
The place was empty when we arrived, then after ordering they started to get busy, that's cool, but they started taking out plates for tables that got there much after we did.
Then they finally started taking plates to our table and forgot mine and didn't even acknowledge the fact that they forgot, I had to tell the waitress and she said she was going to see what was going on and 5 min passed and nothing so my husband went up to where she was to ask her and what was her response to him asking "are the shrimps almost ready" was "if you want I'll just cancel that plate" to what he answered that "how can she just say that when everyone else at the table was already eating, how are they just going to cancel a plate they forgot to make" so he went to sit down and after a few my playe came out. They did not end up charging us my plate but still, we did not eat comfortable anymore, the whole vibe we had shifted.
They really really need to work in their costumer service.

Food was good, however they had music playing and we were eating in silence as we were the only people in the restaurant. When our food was ready someone in the kitchen started ringing a bell loudly over and over again for about three minutes until our waitress who we hadn't saw since she took our order appeared to bring us our food. The vibes were all wrong. Needs music and decoration and a better way to communicate with the servers and a server who actually comes around the tables.

But their Salsa dip with chips when you arrive is subpar. The dip seems watered down. Plus the soft drinks also seemed watered down. A glass of Coke/Pepsi when held up you can see right thru the soda. Their Dr. Pepper had little or no taste.

Meh place with unevenly appealing and bland dishes. We ordered two burritos off the menu: one named for the place and the other named after a chili. The Jalepeno burrito looked and tasted great: filled up the plate and enough to take home. However, the Jaripeo burrito was smaller than Taco Bell’s dollar menu burritos (for $15!) and arrived in a soupy mess of tomatoes, rice and more. Same with the quesadillas: we ordered two of those and one arrived impressively browned and garnished attractively while the other was barely melted and arrived in a pool of chicken broth. We also ordered tacos and those were surprisingly tasteless servings: neither street tacos nor American tacos. The decor is the same “bright Mexican scenes on the furniture” motif you see popping up everywhere, only this place is one big undivided suburban pole barn, so the intimate spaces are found opposite the bar. Service was also a bit off: we ordered dips for the free chips but never got a refill; ditto with the non-alcoholic drinks for the kids. For the price…there’s better options out there.

I had the 4 chicken flautas. The chicken was very dry and with no flavor. Definitely a waste for me. I also ordered the chilli relleno plate. It’s just okay. Maybe skip the cheese sauce that comes on top.

Honestly the only thing right was our drink order and my husbands tacos. We had no chips left and got our cheese dip and bean dip we ordered and immediately asked for more chips. No chips brought out. Half of our food showed up and we waited for the other food to show up. Requested all corn tortillas some showed up on flour tortillas. I kept sending my tacos back bc I requested 2 grilled chicken tacos on corn softshells with cilantro only. The first time it came out with one with onions. The second time it came out with two with onions still. Then everyone was almost done eating besides the food that required silverware and my food showed up. So I ate alone while everyone else was already done. Seemed like quite a lot of money to spend on a meal to have bad service. I had to have the bill corrected, which I feel like the ones with flour tortillas should have been erased but I wasn’t going to try and explain that issue on top of being overbilled for the food we ordered.

I was in celebrating a birthday with other family members. I ordered just 3 chicken tacos. The others ordered complete meals, with some them having finished eating their meal and I was just getting mine.
You would just ordering 3 tacos, I'd be the first order out. I probably waited 45 minutes before getting them. Plus when they brought the food, it still wasn't right !!! They brought out steak tacos !!!. How does something simple get messed up ? I hope others don't experience this.

I’ve been here a few times now. The food is ok but it’s not uncommon for the staff to totally ignore you. We asked for water 3 times then proceeded to not see out server for 20 minutes. Food was just OK. I had the chicken chimichanga and asked for no guacamole. There was still guacamole on my plate and it was dripped over everything. Rice and beans were not flavorful. My husband said his poblanos were bland, too.
Service was less than great. First, we had to get up and get our own silverware and napkins, then we waited 15 minutes before getting up to ask for refills on our drinks that were clearly empty and sitting at the end of our table. Next, we had to ask for a box and then waited another 10 minutes before getting up to ask for our bill. I would find all of this acceptable if it were busy, but there were maybe four other tables being waited on inside. Instead, our waitress was busy playing the poker machine in the front corner of the restaurant. When we got up to leave, my husband mentioned something about the lack of service and the waiters said they were bored.

Generally speaking everything I’ve had from here is great. On top of great service. I was a bit surprised when we got home with our takeout order and saw that my dish was served over top of french fries…while the description of the dish stated diced potatoes. Flavor was great, no complaints there. Perhaps this is standard, I’m not certain. But when I read diced potatoes, I don’t expect to get french fries.

We had Carmilio as a server, and he had an attitude the whole time. Our food wasn't good, but we tried to be nice about it. The coconut shrimp wasn't crispy, the salsa was bland, my enchiladas were tough and i didn't like the red sauce. The camarones were okay, and the tamales were pretty good (but I asked for salsa Verde and was refused). Finally, I asked for flan, but specified that I only wanted caramel sauce, no other toppings. No sprinkles, no whipped cream, no cherries, just caramel sauce. Carmilio seemed upset that he had to bring me dessert and do his job, and then put sprinkles on it anyway. I could have forgiven the lackluster food if the service had been good, but we will never be back. We did not tip because no one needs an attitude served with their terrible meal.

Usually their food is spot on. My husband ordered chicken and a steak burrito ala carte to go. The picture shows what appears to be white cheese on top, rice beans and meat in the taco. We got a burrito just red sauce and chicken/steak that is all. The chicken was very dry. I haven't ever been disappointed with this place but today I was.

The hostess was super nice, chips and salsa came to the table super fast and that's where the good ends. My dinner, seafood chimichanga was completely flavorless. Basically snot covered soggy tortilla. Ordered a side of bean and cheese dip, asked 3 times for it and still never got it. We also had to ask for napkins and silverware twice before we got any. No one asked how our meal was or if we needed anything. The place was steady, but not super busy. Slow enough 4 of the waitstaff were able to stand around by the bar while the busers worked their tails off helping guests.
We had a similar experience here way back the first week they opened and thought they had to have things together by now, but apparently not. NEVER AGAIN!

Diego was an amazing waiter - fun, energetic, exciting.
We had a group of 5 moms there for the lunch buffet (only 11a-3p daily?) on a Saturday! The food was also great!
I'd ABSOLUTELY recommend this place in a heartbeat!
My husband can't wait to try it!

We stopped by with a group for drinks and appetizers. The patio was lovely. The drinks were huge and no options for smaller sizes. They were reasonably priced. But, I don't always want a margarita or beer the size of my head. The waiter was clearly annoyed that we asked about smaller margaritas. They were not busy with customers so we were a bit confused why we were being ignored. At that point we only ordered an app for our table. It was not very flavorful.
I doubt that I will return. There are plenty of options for Mexican food.

We've been here a few times before and things weren't too bad, including service. After 5 or so months, decided to come again and things weren't as good. First of all, I'm not sure if our waitress was new or not but she seemed to have a hard time understanding us from me asking what diet sodas they had to what we were ordering from the menu. She had to look at the menu and we pointed to what we wanted (I ordered the Steak and Cheese Quesadilla and my husband ordered the Steak and Shrimp).

After she wrote down our order, someone else came over and asked what we ordered (I'm guessing for clarification). My food says it comes with a side salad, rice, and a scoop of cheese dip. In the quesadilla is steak, cheese, and grilled onion. When the food came, I didn't have any rice or cheese dip. Just the quesadilla with just steak and cheese, and the side salad. My husband wanted his steak to be medium-rare but it wasn't and it was bland. The waitress/waitor didn't check on us often at all, even to check if we needed refills. I would have complained but was hard enough possibly not being understood with whatever we might say.

When the bill came they had my meal priced separately than the one full price that was in the menu. The side salad was a separate item on the receipt, the steak, and the quesadilla. Needless to say, it was cheaper than what it said in the menu, but still pretty disappointed it wasn't exactly what I wanted and was worse than our other times we were here.
