Cool spot with great food! Came here with a family of 6 and all the food was great. Recommend the burgers, chimichangas, and the Mac&cheese was the table favorite! Service was great (Alyssa) and food was amazing. Wife and I split the half rack of ribs with 6 wings and this was the perfect amount of food. The meat fell off the bone and I have not seen this much tender meat on ribs before. Save room, you still get choice of potato, beans or veggies and soup or salad plus some slaw. We frequent The Pig's Butt often and recommend it to our friends however today was not what we expected. We both ordered our burgers medium and when they came out one was medium and one was rare, possibly still mooing. We brought this to the attention of the first person we saw (not our waitress) who expressed concern and said she would let the kitchen know. This person then, instead of addressing our quality problem instead went about clearing a table that recently had been vacated. Finally our waitress came over and initially didn't seem to fully grasp the problem until we held the virtually raw burger next to the properly cooked (medium) burger. She at that point apologized, took the raw burger and said they would make us a new one. We asked to have the new one put in a to go box as I would be done eating by the time it was going to arrive. The new burger (yes it was new as the first one was cut in half by us and the new one was still in one piece) arrived and when we cut it open it too was as raw as the first one. The waitress then set our bill on the table. When she returned to pick up the payment I told her that the replacement burger was just as raw as the first one. The waitress said she was sorry but never offered to have a manager come over to talk to us, have another burger made nor did she offer to discount the bill at all. My wife just wanted to go home so we took the still undercooked burger home with us. We only wanted the burger cooked medium and would not normally say anything but this was very much an underwhelming experience that hopefully is not an indication of things to come at The Pigs Butt

Must stop! Came in here by suggestion from my cousin... which we both came in here today. Raspberry blended margarita was delicious. Nice atmosphere, wonderful staff (smiling/ happy staff which is so appreciated!), and the food, oh my goodness (my mouth is still watering) was A-Mazing!. I got the Wonder Burger (minus onions, added mayo) and it was soooooo good! My cousin got the street tacos which she chose to have one of each of Chicken, Chorizo, and Steak. Food quality has definitely went down hill. Ordered 2 fish frys to go tonight, with baked potatoes. The fish was extremely salty, to the point that we couldn't even eat it. The "baked" potatoes were very under cooked, still hard. And not hot. They even forgot the sour cream. The last few attempts for dinner here, have been a real disappointment. If I could give zero stars, I would. We went there with a group of 10 and we were told we couldn't all sit together because they needed the tables in case other people came in to eat. We told her we would be fine splitting up, that we were hungry and just wanted to eat. The waitress said she would need to check first and would be right back. I counted 10 tables that were open plus all of the seating at the bar. This was just before 2pm on a Sunday and I am pretty sure they weren't going to be getting many more customers in at that time. We sat there for what felt like forever, being completely ignored while 2 waitresses kept going on about their business, walking past us as if we didn't exist. Awful service. And then we were scolded by the manager for being upset that it took more than an hour to get appetizers (when we watched people who came in after us get their food first).

We were in town for a basketball tournament. 10 of us came in between games for some dinner. We walked into a mostly empty restaurant and tried to order quickly—we had about an hour-and-half before we would need to leave to get back to the tournament. When we tried to order food with our drinks, our server insisted in taking our drink order first and bringing them before taking our food order. By the time we got our drinks, we had already wasted about 15 minutes. At this point, we explained our situation again to the server and decided to only order appetizers rather than full meals to try to keep things speeding along.

After we sat for another 50 minutes (ordering a second round of drinks), it became clear that we weren’t going to get our food in time to eat pay and get back to our next game. Meanwhile, another team that came in after us was served before us.

We asked about our options and expressed our dissatisfaction. The manager told us how busy it was and explained that it was unrealistic for us to be upset about the service.

The bad service was annoying. But I’m writing this because of the manager’s response. Completely unacceptable. He tried to blame us for having the audacity to want food within an hour of being seated. The restaurant wasn’t even close to busy when we walked in. And at no point that it appear to overly busy while we were there.

Newly remodeled location. Food was not impressive however. Quesadillas tasted like they had just regular hot sauce, not garlic barbecue sauce. The loaded nachos had a layer of stuff on top, followed by 3-4 layers of plain chips underneath. More chips that "loaded" part. The sauce on this was extremely sweet. Too sweet. Nasty. The street tacos were OK. Loads of red onions.
The table next to us had burgers. They looked good and I might give this place another try for a burger. 4:30pm, 2 servers and 3-4 tables occupied, I thought service could have been faster.

My husband and I stopped here because I wanted a fish fry. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the taste of the food although it took 40 minutes for our appetizer and an hour for our dinner. We came in at 7pm and left at 830pm so if you're looking for a quick dinner I would not suggest a Friday fish fry. Our server was the bartender and he was very friendly and quick. They did have very friendly staff and everyone looked like they were helping each other out which is nice to see.

Wow those new booths are loud! We were across the room from the bar, in a booth inside a little niche. I could hear the individual conversations from the bar tables bouncing around our booth. But we couldn't hear each other at our own table. That made the whole experience really unpleasant. Please add sound dampening for the booths.

Besides that, the food is usually extra delicious though I feel quite overpriced for what it is. There are lots of upcharges posted on the menu such as $1.50 for 2 oz. of salsa or $1.50 to add a carton of chocolate milk to a kid meal (free for soda). My son's hot dog, 20 fries, and milk carton cost $10.50. That's impressive. He's only 4 and this was the first time he's ever finished his meal at a restaurant because the portion was so small. My older son was eating off of others' plates because he was still hungry after his kids meal.

All posted upcharges were added to our bill, including the 3% charge to use a credit card. However, the menu also stated that margaritas were BOGO 1/2 off, but that discount was left off of our bill. Hmmm.

Thank you to the young gal running food who checked on our table countless times when it was busy. And she didn't just run off after we said that we were good, she double checked that we didn't need anything. And she even stopped back at our table multiple times during the course of the meal.

Best barbecue I've had in Colorado Springs and i've been to them all. And for gluten-free folks like me this place is paradise. I had the fried chicken sandwich which had super tender meat with a crispy crust. And my hubby had the 3 meat plate with super moist brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. EVERYTHING on the menu is gluten free, even the cherry pie. Know that if you order sides and sodas your looking at around $25/per person.

My nephew is a very picky eater and wouldn't touch the mac & cheese or chicken tenders. They were gracious enough to bring him a hot dog bun, which he dipped in ketchup (his favorite food).

We chose this place based on reviews. Went on a friday night. Arrived at 5:30 and were told a 30 minute wait for 2 people. No problem. We got a drink at the bar while we waited,.

Our wait ended up being about an hour 15 and seem to only have been seated after we asked. Our server was great. She was very attentive and gave us feedback on customer favorites since it was our 1st time.

The food was OK. Portions were OK but for the price, I would have thought we'd get a little more. Taste was good - The Philly cheesesteak came on a hotdog bun.

The atmosphere was nice - definitely an updated face but there is no stort of sound buffering so be prepared for it to be LOUD.

Heading to our first campsite @ Long Lake we passed this place and thought it looked cool and loved the name. I am also a big Pulled Pork fanatic as I learned from the best in the Carolina’s. We decided on day one of camping that we would give it a try after a 4 mile hike. Loved the atmosphere with interior clean and bright with a great bar. The outside seating looked fabulous as well, but chose to sit inside. Our visit had fairly slow service, but I could tell there was only one or two waitstaff which were also handling the bar so dealt with it as the food was great. Not the best pulled pork, but high scores. I will definitely visit again when we get the chance.

Update: Since we first stopped here many moons ago, we've been back too many time to count. Always good food. Not this time. My go-tos are the pulled pork sandwich and ribs. Got ribs this time, but regret it. Tough as leather, not the fall off the bone ribs that are usually served. Service was good (Heather), food not so much. We'll give it another try at some point, but am now a bit more leery about what I might order.

We went for Fish Fry. The fish was so salty, it was hard to eat even after we took the breading off. They used to have great fish. We won't be going back for a long time. It was so disappointing. We used to love going there for Fish Fry.

Really good service and food. The restaurant was busy and we had a large party, but they were very accommodating for us. Special shout out goes to our waitress Sarah (I think that's her name). She was absolutely awesome! Would definitely come back.

This is not a BBQ place.
With regret, I did not look at the menu online before choosing to eat here. Where I was expecting quality selection of meats, smoked brisket, and bbq mac—The menu is mostly breakfast and Mexican cuisine with basic sandwiches. The name continues to be misleading as the "Best Butts" — is just the ground beef used in their burgers. The burgers are good, but burgers are easy.

I ordered the ribs, which is probably the worse possible item i could have ordered. Low quality meat, very dry, very bland. They must have marinated it in a salt rub, but that didn't help the flavor the slightest as it was unbearably salty. Ordered it with the Garlic Buffalo sauce — another terrible decision.

I did enjoy the spicy cheese curds and loaded baked potato (wished it came with chives, though). The fries were also good, but they must be made to order as when I gave up on the first bite of my ribs and ordered a side of fries, they took about 15mins to arrive.

I enjoyed the patio seating, but I would not return for the food.

BBQ on the corner in downtown! Great bar seating, great service. Good beer selection, and good menu. ADA compliant. The BBQ is excellent here, and generous portions! Highly recommend!

I’ve been going there since an open and never had a problem my last visit they forgot the salad I had asked for it after the ribs came out forgot coleslaw for my wife’s meal I had to ask for butter for my potato and the ribs taste like they were a week old they were dried out

Came with our kids, 12 and 10. Atmosphere was perfect. My son said the tacos were the best tacos he ever had. The ribs were to die for. Ordered a full rack but a half a rack was more than plenty. Heather was great. First time here. Will be here again.

This was not a one-and-done. Three visits and three negative experiences. Deceptive “coupon”, misleeding debit card surcharge, and greasy food combined with rude management makes for a bad recipe. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me; fool me again, bad news travels. Don’t waste your time and money like we did. Pass on this racket.

This past Friday I got a fish fry from here and it was the BEST ONE that I’ve ever had even through a 30 minute drive from picking it up the food was still warm when I got home!!! Compliments to the cooks. Would definitely recommend!

Omg this the spot.. I was visiting family and came across this gem. This place has the best Mojitos I have tasted in a long time. I ordered a chicken sandwich with extra pickles and to my surprise it came with dill pickles, which are my fave. I highly recommend this place and I definitely will be returning again. Thank you to the wonderful and amazing staff.

Worst old fashioned I've ever had, absolutely terrible waitress (she was young though so you can't expect good service). Worst part was our group of 9 was charged gratuity enabling her to make $40 for ignoring us. Best butts in town, lol well must be the only butts in town. Seen the little electric masterbuilt smoker outside, wish I had seen it before going in. No smoke flavor at all. With the $7 pint of beer price you should buy a real smoker. Would never stop here again

The food wasn't bad. The service was slow to get our food. And a friends' order was incorrect. Our waitress was adamant that a mistake wasn't made and was unwilling to correct it. I have never seen a quesadilla look like 3 soft shell tacos.
