As I walked in to have dinner with my family after a busy and tiring day, Chris lifted my spirits with such great energy and kindness. Chris and Jorge made us feel very welcomed! Jorge and Jenny were very patient as I ordered the meals for my children (they changed their minds last minute). Based on a recommendation from someone at church, we headed over Wednesday to try them out. Sadly, to our surprise they were closed on this day of the week.
Well, definitely worth the wait to have tried them again this week Monday.
Walked in and were greeted right away by a young man and woman asked if it would be done in or carry out. We decided to do carry out. Reviewed the menu, made our choices from many offerings and waited just a short time for our very reasonably priced dinners.
The ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous and the flavor was very good. We did a chicken chimichanga, steak tacos and a ground beef tostada.
There is in restaurant seating, but we weren’t up for “peopling”. It was narrow and in the strip, but welcoming.
We would recommend this place for a good, fairly priced authentic Mexican Meal.

After 2 years of being in business, this place has fallen off in flavor. They dont season the food anymore, and salt and pepper arent the only seasonings to use. I ordered the ground beef nachos and there were maybe 10 chips in there and lots of lettuce with a innuendo of cheese sprinkled over it. Underwheling. Food was overly salted/seasoned and didn't seem very authentic. I think most of the patrons were 60 year old white ladies that have had their taste buds burned off. The sauces tasted like they were pre-made or canned. Onions were barely cooked in the dishes we had. Not going to return. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't good. I will stick with the Taco Trucks.

Food: so, so good. Incredibly good. You KNOW it's going to be amazing when you walk in and, as an English-only speaking person, you don't understand a lick of the español the other diners are speaking. Plus points for the fact that they serve Coke AND Pepsi products.

Service: So friendly, so attentive for how small the staff was. Such kind people who were so sure to fulfill every need.

Atmosphere: This is where I wish Google would let me give 1/2 stars. El Pueblito, you need to paint those walls where the big huge scuffs are! Other than that, I love the framed posters of the homeland; they are so cheesey as to be super cool and adorable. I found them to be interesting and colorful and, of course, I enjoyed the requisite soccer game in Spanish up on the big screen!

This is our go to Mexican place, and we love them. Food is delicious. We usually get the Asada Tacos Dinner, but I have recently fallen madly in love with the Grilled Garlic Shrimp. I love that you can order a single of most things. Flauta, Chile Relleno, Taco, Enchilada. Sometimes we each get a dinner with a single something on the side for variety. I ordered a Milaneza steak sandwich from Pueblito Mexican Restaurant in Racine WI. I bit into a piece of wire. It looks like its from a wire cleaning sponge.
I was grossed out and tossed the entire sandwich in the trash.
I have ordered from here several times and they do have good food, but need to be more careful what surface they prepare the food on.

Wow what a treat! We were leaving Michaels in Racine staring down the barrel of another Jersey Mikes or Q'Doba dinner when we saw this gem and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. As transplants to Kenosha from Los Angeles we lived most our lives spoiled rotten when it came to Mexican food. Coming here we've tried a few and been sorely disappointed each time. LA Fogata, yuck. El Camino, barely Mexican. Tacos El Rey pretty good but limited selections. This place was by far the most authentic Mexican food I've had outside of Cali or Texas. We had the carne asada plate, carne asada tacos and an amazing wet burrito and we all loved our food. Plus, the margaritas! Bomb! They had three very different but equally delicious salsa choice and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant.
