Very disappointed in our experience today. I am not sure if there are new procedures that have been recently put into place, but there seemed to be a lot of congestion at the register. I am not sure when the pay before you eat thing started, but I was a little disappointed in this procedure, espeically after actually eating, or at least trying to. It also seemed that one of the people (not sure if it was a manager) that was present was more interested in telling people about a film crew, rather than quality of service.
What used to be a pretty decent selection, including some breakfast and lunch items, creating a nice brunch buffet, has turned into a limited breakfast buffet with very few options to choose from. The eggs were dry and chunky, the sausage patties were cold and hard, the sausage links were brown and serve- also cold, the corned beef hash, potatoes, and whatever the ham/egg/hashbrown concoction was, was burned and dry, and looked like it had been sitting out under the heat lamp for far too long- even though we had just watched them bring most of the food "fresh" from the kitchen.
The whole new set up was very disjointed and not very welcoming. We didn't even see the waffles until we were so disappointed we no longer wanted to stay in the restaurant.
The only reason that I gave them a two-star review is because our server, and the person who seated us were great- very friendly. Also the omelet station actually made it so there was something to eat.
We travel an hour because of the atmosphere of the casino and the added perk of Embers Grill. We were very disappointed with this visit- definitely not worth the price we paid and them spent.

Went on Aug 1, 2025.. my friend wanted the $50 crab buffet... Wasn't worth $45 with a players card discount.. the Mac and cheese and the tortellini were disgustingly cold and could tell the trays were under the lamp for awhile.. the meatloaf was just as gross... the lady/guy that was serving the crab to people.. informed us, that the food wasn't gonna get any better because everything comes prepares in a bag.. so for a table of 3, you definitely got 1 star.. the waiter didn't have a pen or paper for ppls drinks.. so of course he came back with wrong drinks, than took 20 minutes just to bring my friend her drink she asked for.. definitely not coming back..

Great atmosphere. Our waitress was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was so delicious. Crazy amount of variety of food. We will absolutely be back.

This is the nicest place to dine out in our area, as most are small tavern/bar type places. The regular menus are fantastic, and the special nights can't be beat. Our son uses a wheelchair, and staff is always friendly and accommodating to him without acting in a way that overly draws attention to his disabilities. That means so much to all of us. It's the kind of thing that most people wouldn't think about until they're in that situation. Thank you, Longhouse! 💗
