The interior is so cute! The menu offered lots of different authentic Mexican dishes and I noticed a few kind of Tex-Mex as well! The complimentary chips and salsa were delicious in the queso dip is to die for we were greeted fast with prompt and accurate service! The only thing I could say, is they went a little heavy with their fabuloso cleaning solution! With that being said the food is amazing! They also had happy hour going on! This place filled up fast

On a recent Sunday trip from Minneapolis to Chicago, we decided to give Encanto Cantina a try. We'll admit, we were a little skeptical about finding great Mexican food in Eau Claire, but all our doubts disappeared the moment we stepped inside. The atmosphere is vibrant and instantly welcoming, with fantastic decor that sets a great tone for the meal.
​We started with some great chips and salsa, but the true star of the show was the margarita flight. The flavors were fantastic, and they were very generous on the tequila! For our main course, we ordered both the vegetarian and the four-meat fajitas. Both dishes were equally delicious, sizzling with flavor. Our entire visit was made even better by the fun and engaging staff who made us feel right at home. We'll definitely make this a required stop the next time we're driving through Wisconsin

Stopped here on our way through moving to North Carolina. They have an amazing restaurant with hands down the best food of any restaurant I have eaten at. Walking in I knew we were in for a treat. The waitress was very nice and made suggestions and she was correct. Their fish tacos were top notch with quality fish and balanced flavors. Shrimp ceviche was excellent. Every bite was a treat and so flavorful. Highly recommend this restaurant to any one who wants something special. The people who work at this restaurant care about what they do and it tells. I don't normally leave reviews, but after eating here, I don't have a choice (lol). Friend and I were in town for a pet expo, decide we wanted Mexican, reviews were good so gave them a shot. They hit the bullseye! I'm from Texas and very picky with my Mexican (been super hard finding good Mexican here in Wisconsin), and I loved this place! Atmosphere was great, our server was fantastic! He even made the salsa himself! Which I had to buy some to take home and offer to my husband and co-workers! The guacamole was too good to be true (for sure fresh and made right then and there!), my shrimp tacos, rice and beans had so much flavor! The mango margarita...I wanted another...But I was driving. (Sad day). My friend had some dish that had lots of seafood (shrimp, clams, crab legs, octopus). I was truly impressed. Planning a trip to take hubby soon (I'm in Wausau). If you are in town and want the best Mexican...give them a try!

I stopped in for some really good Mexican (authentic) food. My server was Yousra, and she did a fantastic job, also recommending some of the more popular dishes. Ive never worked in a restaurant in this state. I own my own company. I offered Burrito California in Menomonie as a substitute to your restaurant because they actually deserve my patronage. My wife and I refuse to eat at filthy restaurants.

I have standards. Us folk from the farther out cities travel to Eau Claire for many reasons including dining. Many companies fall short and have bad standards.

Maybe you don't get negative feedback because youre delusional. Im glad I didnt eat your food seeing as I couldn't even be provided with one table, or menu that was clean. What a shame.

I honestly don't understand why it wasn't packed when we visited today. The service was fantastic, the waitress gave us a run down of how they operate and that they make their own corn tortillas, and boy did she not lie! Everything tasted fresh and homemade. From table salsa and chips to the sauces that came with the tacos... Absolutely amazing. As Mexican food lovers and having been on trips to Mexico, we agreed this was hands down THE BEST Mexican food we have ever had. It was such a an amazing experience and very much felt like a mini vacation. We will absolutely be back and bringing others!

Encanto Cantina is quality Mexican qusine in a modern environment. I ordered the seafood lava bowl. Tilapia known as a bland and cheaper fish was the most flavorful bite in the bowl. Crab legs are always disappointing for me, these pulled from the shell in perfect red color, flavorful and flakey, clams - beautiful and not fishy, shrimps big, and the sides all fresh still sizzling. My neighbor tables were gauking and asking questions. For the first time ever, I wound up eating with my fingers a bit to get the last tid but bites and I don't even care what anyone thinks about that. Friendly and caring service. Well priced. We'll be going back soon for another food service high.

We stopped in here from out of town to grab some takeout and decided to stay and eat at the restaurant because it was so cute inside. The painted mural on the wall was outstandingly gorgeous. I called ahead to make a reservation, they do not typically make reservations but it depends on the amount of people and day of the week. The ambiance is beautiful! The staff was very accommodating with dealing with our decent sized group as we came in one by one (about 45 minutes before everyone arrived). Super chill, nonchalantly came to check to see if we needed anything, drinks, appetizers, food, just anything! I had the chicken and steak fajitas, House Margarita, and Mango Margarita, of course on the rocks. All delicious! I have some food sensitivities, but they delt with that without a problem. I’m not going to lie I was expecting more from this place by all the good things that were being said about how authentic and delicious it was with a great atmosphere. I ordered pazole to take home along with some quesabirrias because I woke up not feeling well this morning and knew that some authentic delicious hearty pazole would help me feel better, the pazole had maybe one spoonful of fixings and then it was all broth. How disappointing and I paid $16 for that?!? Not authentic or delicious at all when it’s just two pieces of meat with nothing else in the pazole but broth and lettuce and chili crisp they gave me on the side. The quesabirria tacos I am also very disappointed with, they were very bland, the consume didn’t even really have that much flavor and right when I got in the car I opened the box and this was right after they handed me the food mind you, the tacos were already luke warm-cold. I would like a full refund considering that was supposed to be my little bit of money to treat myself for the week and that all went to shit coming to encanto to try for the first time today, but I know a refund of my hard earned money probably won’t happen. Please do better. I don’t believe I’ll be returning, there’s absolutely better places to take your money for good Mexican food!

My new favorite spot to go! Absolutely delicious and authentic. Our waiter was so kind and helped us pick out are meals. The owner even let us have a good sized sample of their octopus 🐙. It was reasonably priced and most important very delicious!

Very cool atmosphere. The service was very good although our waiter had issues understanding us and us understanding him. I would consider the portions to be a tad small. My wife got the carnitas she had more than enough on her plate but I got the carne asada street tacos and I would’ve swore it said tres tacos, unfortunately it only came with two and a small side of rice and beans, for $15 I will order something else next time. Great place overall tho.

It's really cute inside, the staff was so nice, and the food was great. Menu seems to have a lot of things the other Mexican restaurants don't have including some really good drinks I've never seen in Eau Claire before. The white sauce for the chips is the best in the area, too.
Great news restaurant and we'll definitely be back.

Went there last week with my family and I felt in love with the decor as soon as I walked in, service was great, waitress was very friendly and attentive, the food was super delicious and prices were reasonable. Definitely going back soon.

We tried out Encanto Cantina, flavors of Mexico it was excellent! When we entered we received a very warm welcome. The building was gorgeous it felt like we traveled to a beautiful resort in Mexico. The chips and salsa were very tasty! We had the Quesabirrias and Tamales. We also had the Mangonada. Everything had such great flavor. I really enjoyed the different sauces. The Mangonada was so fresh tasting and I saw them preparing it with real mangoes 🥭 Our waiter was so genuine and friendly it was a wonderful experience. We are looking forward to trying more items from the menu next time! I highly recommend 👌

We just had dinner at Encanto Cantina for the first time. We can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes! Everything we had was fantastic. The food was very good and very generous portions. The cocktails were tasty and the place looks great. I can’t suggest Encanto Cantina enough!

First time at Encanto Cantina. I took my family to try it out on Saturday after 4pm. The restaurant gets busy after 5pm. The decoration of the place is beautiful, the food is delicious. I will definitely come back!

Wonderfully renovated, delicious menu, friendly staff.

Don’t be afraid to ask for recommendations. Our host gave me a few options and with how good the street tacos were, I will for sure be back to try the rest.

The sopes were delicious! Very soft maza and the sour cream was authentic and so was the cheese. The atmosphere was mesmerizing to look at. The service was spectacular, they take time to speak to you about your experience. Over all I recommend this restaurant to families, friends, couples etc!!
