This is hands down the best lomo saltado in all of Madison. There are about 4 other peruvian places that are much much closer to us, but we still drive the 35-40 minutes to get the food here. The aji's are chef's kiss. My wife gets the lomo with the cilantro rice and I get it with the white rice and extra aji verde always. You cannot go wrong with the Lomo here! We've dined in, take out, and when desperate we uber eats it to our house, but worth it every time.

I received a gift card for $50 for Estación Inka. I tried to use it twice and BOTH times I was told I couldn’t use it. The first time I tried in store during June of 2024 and they told me their system was down, and even though I could show proof there was money on the card, they wouldn’t honor it. I ended up paying full price for my food about $75. The second time was about a year later, I tried to place an order over the phone and after providing the card number I was again told I couldn’t use the card because now they are no longer accepting physical gift cards and have moved to an online e-card. So $50 was paid to them for the gift card and they never honored it and now it’s unusable. Free money for them I guess.

Seeing how prominently on the menu their roasted chicken is, it seemed to me that the roasted chicken is the thing to get here.

I ordered a whole roasted chicken. Oh my god! It was the best chicken I've ever had in my life. It was juicy, it was perfectly cooked, it was perfectly herbed, perfectly seasoned.

And it was cheap. A whole chicken from Popeyes or whatever costs more than what I paid here for a superior product.

First time here, very (pleasantly) surprised. The chicken was moist and the seasoning was excellent. The cilantro rice is great, and a very fun green. It's not the place you want to stop if you're in a rush, but the food came out pretty quick (and they do takeout).

Such amazing food for a fair price with great service. We did take out and even though it is on University, I was able to find loading zone and 25 minute pd parking.

Chicken was perfectly cooked and well seasoned to the point they must brine it overnight or something since the saltiness was all the way through the meat. Skin was flavorful, not super crispy, but just right if you like crispy with its own juices softening the skin a bit.

Unique amazing rice with cilantro and peas I could not get enough of. The hot sauce was so good and powerful, I put it on everything.

We tried this place based on a recommendation from my hunnys's coworker. I liked it. The restaurant was spacious. There was plenty of room with quite a number of people in there.

We each got a half chicken meal. I got the version with the green plantains and culantto rice and beans. He got the sweet plantains with white rice and beans.

The portions were huge. Enough to split one meal in two.

We got 2 specialty juice drinks. About 5 dollars each for I believe a cup.

I really liked my meal. The hunny thought the white rice was salty. I didn't think anything was too salty.

We also got a side of the alfajores to go. I loved them. It's a bit pricy. More than the plate itself, but they were good.

In the end, we speedy about 60 to 70 dollars. We got full and had plenty of leftovers for the next day. I think we'll eventually go back, I just don't know when. Maybe buy a whole chicken to enjoy at home.

This dish made me kinda sad. Some of the fries were undercooked. The meat was quite tough and overcooked. There was also very little sauce to coat the meat. Most of it was soaked up by the rice. The rice was surprisingly flavorful but mushy at the bottom. I also ordered flan. The taste was decent but the flan had a bit of a curdled texture. The chicken was very good although my delivery order was missing half. The side orders were soso. Unless this is a regional cuisine that I am not familiar with it was not like any Peruvian food I have ever had in Peru or any of the other five Peruvian restaurants I've eaten at. Great time to come from Mondays to Fridays before 4 p.m Can get two chicken legs, rice, and black beans for 13-14 dollars which is not bad. Rice is nicely seasoned with just the right amount of moistness. Black beans are well seasoned as well. Their chicken is a little dry but still good. The sauce is great with my favorite being the yellow sauce which tastes somewhat cheesy, definitely very surprising taste and hard to describe but good. Desserts are alright. Very large and costs 5 bucks. Other dishes are great too except for salchipapas. I would not recommend getting the salchipapas.

This place has the best latin food in Madison in my opinion. It has really juice chicken that is very flavorful and cooked just right to make it have a punch of flavor.
