Overall course conditions were fine with the big exception of the tee boxes. Almost every one of them was crowned and you cannot get a level stance or ball position to tee off. It was very annoying.

I've played a few scrambles here and have enjoyed each one. The course was in great shape today and looked great with the fall colors setting in. The greens are in fantastic shape. The events themselves are extremely well ran. The rangers are top notch at getting you through the blind tee shots. I wish we had played in more this season.

I’ve been playing Evergreen for over 30 years. The last decade, the tee boxes, especially on the par 3s, have become so terribly uneven that it is incredibly difficult to find a halfway level spot to hit from. They are just massive mounds that have a crown in the center and fall off both sides…. The par 4s are even getting this way now as well. The worst ones are definitely 5N, 9N (easily the worst of all of them), 5S, 7S, 4E, 7E.
The greens and fairways are in the best shape I think I have ever seen them in 39 years. It’s a shame the tee boxes are so badly sloped. Seems like it would be a relatively easy fix in the spring to shave them down with a bobcat and replant grass. Maybe do half the tee box at a time or something.

We played 18 on the afternoon of August 21st, my wife had called and made a 1:00pm tee time a week prior. We were flexible on our time and there was no mention of a time restriction. We arrived for our tee time at 12:20 checked in and paid for the golf again no mention of a time restriction. We went to the starter at which point they told us we had to be off the course by 5pm and to proceed to the tee which we did there was a group in front of us so we ended up teeing off a little before 1. While we were playing it seemed like we were being watched by a ranger a little too much but we finished the front in a little under 2 hours stopped and picked up lunch and some beverages and finished the back between 5:05 and 5:10 at which point when I was walking off 18 the starter drives up to the green and berates us for not finishing by 5 and continues on for about 5 minutes until I just left. What was a very nice experience that afternoon, playing on a beautifully maintained course, became pretty negative experience after this conversation.

Was here for a golf outing, the course was in good shape. We played 18 holes over five hours in 90 plus temperature and saw a beverage cart only once on our 17th hole. Good thing it wasn't hot, lol. The bar after was completely full with lines lines and only two bartenders. A third offered to assist and was told no by the head bartender, right in front of long lines of guests. Lastly the food was terrible, shoe leather steak, basically inedible.

In a nut shell....we had 12 golfers and a total of 25 people for lunch.
The clubhouse workers great greeters. Rangers had carts ready to go. All rangers are very friendly with personalities. The Course beautiful and in great shape.
For lunch they set up a small banquet room which was not requested but worked out great. Bartenders and waitstaff are friendly and very accommodating.

Keep it up Evergreen...you guys have it going on.

What a Fabulous course to play. Conditions were very nice. Great fairways sand traps were raked in great condition. Greens were in beautiful shape. Landscaping and flowers look very nice.i was very impressed with the course. Roger was very helpful in allowing us to play the north and East corse today. Thank you. We have lived in the area for many years and finally just tried their Friday fish fry a few weeks ago. We will definitely be going back! The staff, service, and food were amazing! Loved the family-style service, all you can eat fish (although the portions were very generous to begin with), and friendly waitstaff. Overall a great experience, we will definitely be back!

We’ve been golfing here regularly during the week and decided to bring friends out with us — one of whom was a newer golfer. We booked our tee time several days in advance, but when we arrived, the course was clearly overbooked. We weren’t moving fast, but our pace of play was reasonable — certainly not enough to warrant what happened next.

A cart staff member drove up to us and, rather than politely addressing any concern, approached with a shockingly rude and aggressive tone, telling us we were “holding everyone up.” While I fully understand the need to manage pace of play, his attitude was completely unnecessary and made our guests uncomfortable. From that point on, the newer golfers in our group felt pressured to skip shots or entire holes, and we ended up playing best ball just to avoid further conflict.

Ironically, we then had to wait at the very next hole — and beyond — behind another group. No one said a word to them. It felt targeted, especially considering our group was the only one nearby that included women. A ranger continued to circle us multiple times, which only added to the discomfort and made the experience feel unnecessarily hostile.

Our total time for 9 holes? About 90 minutes — completely reasonable. We had planned to speak with staff afterward, but left feeling too frustrated to escalate it further.

It’s a shame, because we genuinely enjoyed coming here and had hoped to make it a regular spot to bring friends. But after this experience, we’re hesitant to return — especially with guests. No one should feel rushed, judged, or unwelcome for simply trying to enjoy the game.

We had the to opportunity to tour the banquet facility. It was nicely set up for their Easter brunch.
What a beautiful room and bar area with a view of what looks like an awesome 27 hole course. There was a scramble going on that day but I look forward to getting out on the course. We had a nice lunch at the Bunker clubhouse after our tour.

I hate to write reviews like this, but this experience was truly disappointing. Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Our server, Cynthia, was incredibly rude and spent most of the time on her phone at the bar. I was actually there to inquire about hosting a golf outing for over 300 golfer something a former staff member who (I think they are twins) was amazing, but sadly no longer works there talked us into. So we were going to give it a chance. Unfortunately, with the current service, I’ll be looking elsewhere. Extremely disappointed.

Our Thanksgiving dinner from Evergreen Golf Club was perfect! The on-line ordering process was easy and the pick-up at our scheduled time, seamless. Please, oh please go back to the old recipes and format. I understand the cost implications with inflation being a grim reality. however I’d be willing to pay considerably more for the way it was. The thin breading was outstanding as opposed to beer batter that always ends up greasy. The hush puppies and potato pancakes were awesome as well as was the family style on everything. We were almost religious with our visits to the Evergreen fish fry until the change, but we’ve resorted to finding a suitable alternative. Reverse course, charge $25, and we’ll be back.

Our family has been religiously enjoying the fish fry at Evergreen for over 20 years. Since moving to Texas, one of our most treasured traditions is a family fish fry at Evergreen. What a disappointment to experience all the changes to what was one of the best fish fry’s in Wisconsin. The ambiance is still great and the fish was still good deserving the two stars. All the hype about the best fish fry in WalCo is overrated. It is not bad, but certainly not a great fish fry. And not a fan of the corn bread as I am a midwesterner from here, I am not from the south. Cole Slaw was not bad and I did enjoy the apples and potatoes. The wait staff was great, very attentive and pleasant. And its a nice place. In a hurry I may go again or if I am driving by, but would most certainly not make it a destination for dinner.

27 hole course with a lot of nature. Medium sized pro shop with a decent clubhouse. Staff were decent. If you played 18, they were sending people out all the 9s so the turn was a little slow when we played a holiday morning on the south to east courses. Greens were meh....needed some work on some. Various challenges and doglegs kept it interesting. Fairways and roughs were cut well. A number of the tee boxes rolled and playing at the top level area they were pretty beat up. Fees weren't terrible but could've been a little better. But overall, not a bad course to play so I hope to get back to see the last 9 yet.

I grew up on this course and have loved it for 25 years until today when I met Dennis. Never have I had a hospitality employee be more rude or condescending anywhere. The way he handled our situation was unprofessional and unbecoming of anyone who works at an establishment that provides a guest experience. I’ll be back because it’s cheap golf and I’m going to make it my goal in 24 to work on Dennis’s professionalism and his guest service standards.

The best part of our experience was where it started, at the bar while we waited for a table. The bartender Mackenzie was delightful, fun, knowledgeable, efficient, and made the best drinks. She took the time to talk with us, and offered many great recommendations off of the dinner menu. Let me start by saying Happy Easter to all! Our overall experience was hmm... let's start with the hostess sitting us in the bar area and fail to explain that we could go to the buffet. We asked for lemonade and received four of them when there were only two of us. (We were thirsty. Well, we were until two full lemonades were taken from us while we were getting our food.) The omelets were nothing to write home about. The fruit was good and ripe but not the star fruit. That was not ripe and had a sour taste. The salmon had the taste and texture of it being undercooked and had that bland fishy taste. Even the lemon didn't help it. Oh, let's not talk about the ribs... ok.. I will... while the meat fell off the bone, one of us thought it was delicious and the other one thought they were overcooked. The prime rib was tough, and the horseradish had an extra kick to it like no other I've tasted before. The desserts were slim pickings.... it seems as if they were running out. So the final bill came, and it was $90. So, looking back at this experience, it's not my intention to complain. We just wanted to share this dining experience with you all and have you decide your fate on a night out. We probably should've made earlier reservations, but we didn't. The outcome of this is that we are blessed with health, wealth, and prosperity of being able to enjoy this holiday. AMEN to all.

We went for fish fry last night, and my goodness have things changed here.
For a $20 meal you should most certatbe brought out more than 1 filet cut in half. You ask for more and they bring you half a fricking filet. Not to mention it wasn’t even the consistency that cod should be. It was almost rock hard filets.
Potato pancakes were RAW and mush.
Never will I return or bring my family to return.
Yea we told our waiter, no nothing was done.
This has gone down hill big time.

Was there for a private party. Let me start with the venue. Nice a good size for a small wedding, of maybe 125 people. Give or take.. The food was very good. Chicken was tender and well seasoned and not dry at all. Pork tenderlion was very good, I would have loved to over eaten. The sides were delicious, homemade mashed potatoes, vegetables, and gravy. Everything was hot and well kept up. There was a very nice patio for outside seating and the place was very comfortable.

We had the fish fry Friday night and we’re very disappointed, it’s not what it used to be. The broiled fish is all you can eat and they bring one piece when you first start for a $20 meal. When you ask for another piece they bring two small little pieces that aren’t even the size of the first piece. My husband ask for a third piece and got a half piece. The potato pancakes were raw and certainly were not cooked well enough. We asked the waitress and she said there’s nothing they can do because things are made ahead of time and they just come out of the kitchen, and she was happy to have us try again which we did, but they were equally Undercooked -not sure we will go back

Had reservations for Easter Brunch at 1:00...did not get seated until 1:30 after asking twice when we could be seated after more and more people were filling the vestibule and bar all waiting to be seated..hostess was hostile, very rude and clearly overwhelmed...don’t know if brunch was overbooked or understaffed or both?? Our waitress was wonderful and smiley and the food was good and while I understand buffets are difficult to predict and to time, a hostess with a much better attitude or even a smile would have made the wait easier....not sure we would return

Evergreen has always been my first choice in golf courses since I started golfing a couple years ago. I spend more time here nice since i built a house on the East course. I always appreciate Evergreen's meticulous course maintenance and the fact that they're always open to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Recently, they have opened their indoor simulators in the pro shop for some off season practice. I had the chance to play on one of the simulators and I really enjoyed myself. There are plenty of courses you can play on E6, or just head to the E6 driving range to keep your swing dialed in. My only complaint is that the stance mats on the simulator's are quite narrow, and with a driver, I feel like my right foot is going to fall off of the mat if I'm not careful. You can easily play 18 holes in an hour on the simulators if you're by yourself, or 2 hours to play 18 holes if you bring a friend. the staff is always friendly, and the prices are on par with other courses I've played at in the past.

Was very disappointed in the service for Friday fish fry. The server brought our drinks with our meal and never gave us a chance to enjoy the cocktails. The food was not hot as it must have been sitting in the kitchen. We asked him for a fresh platter of the food which h gave us. The corn fritters were like hockey pucks..very dry and hard. Had fish last night, not the same as it use to be. The syrup containers were all sticky & stuck to the table cloth. Not a good image. Just bring out smaller dishes on request. Review of Friday Fish Fry
For what it is, we've always been really happy. The family-style dining is a welcome change, especially for the picky-eaters (they take what they like and aren't stuck with this or that).
Staff has always been friendly and efficient.
Others in our party have ordered "regular" menu items, and have always been happy with the selection.
Prices are also very competitive (especially for the quantity of food).

Update: I received a message and call from the General Manager to discuss my concerns. He was able to offer a return visit to try the Friday fish dinner as a guest. The meal was exceptional, it was busy but the wait staff was attentive and pleasant. We were seated at the outside patio close to the entertainment. The overall experience was great! I have to agree with Eric Powers reviews..Staff seating customers are clueless including hostess Dory who is rude and has no people skills at all. Waited over an hour for a table when we were told 45 minutes. After ordering our fried fish it took about 25 minutes to get our food. It was during this wait time we found out it was our waitresses first night on the job. Can't blame her that she was thrown overboard with hopes she could swim. That's on management again. If that's the way you treat your customers and new hires soon you'll have neither. Long time customers this was a bad experience. I think service is trending down and this may be our last time in.

Wait staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. Food was very good for Friday fish fry. Management was rude to us when we moved to a table out of the hot sun when we had 4 out of 5 present in our party. There was only one

Great broiled cod and corn fritters and was surprised there was entertainment as well. Got there at 4 for a fish fry to beat the crowd. Didn't leave till 10. We ate outside. We're outside the entire time though people did eat inside. Danced, danced, danced. People showed up on golf carts. Danced on the green with my grandchildren. Entertainment was 6 to 9 but he sang, danced and entertained till 10.

This place was amazing! My wife and I had our wedding here and we couldn't be happier! The food was amazing and everyone worked with us to help. We had a somewhat last minute wedding before I left for the military and that were so helpful in making it a smooth process.

The quality of the food is great! Tonight's fish and chicken were outstanding!
Also worth mentioning - the process they have in place for curb-side pick up works very well. We had our food in a couple minutes as the line of cars kept moving.

Awesome Fish and the rest of the food was Great!! Additional items that came with the meals and the Best Coleslaw around! Almost as good as Mom's! Try it, you will Not be disappointed! Even Gram's ate everything on her plate! Our server was the Best as well, she deserves a Raise! :)

Went to a wedding, all was great until dinner.... We sat at a table for ten. Chicken, fish, French fries, hush puppies, carrots and green beans, bread sticks, coleslaw and potato pancakes. Very nice until they didn't have enough fish on the platter for all at our table and not enough chicken. I asked to have our platter refilled and was told I would have to wait until second round was served. Ok no problem. Then I noticed that they were clearing plates and asked about our players being refilled? Our waitress came out with 3 PC's of fish and 2pcs of chicken and said "This is all that is left". I guess that ended that.
