About to complete my 6th year as a Fox Hills Golf member. All the courses for the 2025 season were excellent. Greens were consistent all season. The upgrades at the main hotel and bar area have made the resort a true golf resort destination. Great job to the entire crew.

I recently had my wedding here and with the first company that owned it, it was guaranteed a -5 star review. Once the company got bought out a month prior to our wedding, the new wedding coordinator was FANTASTIC. If it wasn't for her and the director of sales, my wedding day would not have gone as well as it did. I am so thankful to them and their accommodations. Their organization skills and honor to the price we were previously quoted for our food and decorations were truly exceptional. The honeymoon suite was gorgeous and spacious, my only gripe was that the water was permanently cold so showering was quite uncomfortable.

This place old and dated. From my understanding the hotel is under new ownership and has done some updates but not much.
It was disturbing to find black mold on the curtains above the heating and air conditioning unit. See attached pictures.

I was awaken by loud noise and music outside my room at 1:30 AM. I reported it to the manager, who replied they are golfers and they're partying. This continued for our 3 day stay. BTW there are no coffee makers in the rooms.

Most affordable hotel for the weekend we stayed! Clean, great breakfast, and amazing property and pool! They wouldn't provide us any additional rollaway beds like advertised, but otherwise, all was well.

If it has rained within the last few days they will make it cart path only. Makes for long rounds of waiting and a lot of walking.
Other courses nearby will allow you to drive on the grass even when its rained the same day. Would recommend going somewhere else to golf unless you have young legs that dont mind walking a few miles on the course.
Did their stay and play package where breakfast and dinner buffet are included. On Fri night they did not provide dinner. We get to the dining room and there is no food left at the buffet. We asked the workers if they could put out some more food and they said no. So we didn't eat anything on Fri night because they have no other food options available onsite.
Also they closed the bar down early on Sat night and asked all the remaining customers to leave at 1030p. I think the workers just wanted to go home early. Note they charged me $14 for a beers at the bar, way overpriced.
Their golf course was a 5 hr round of golf on Fri.
I think what they charge for the stay and play package is definitely overpriced.

Golfer beware of this place.
The golf course superintendent manages this course differently than any other public course Ive played at. This past weekend they had cart path only on their 27 hole course when the course had just a few puddles. They didnt let anyone out on carts for almost the whole weekend on their premier 18 hole course.
The 27 hole course is nothing to write home about. Its slightly below average from a grooming and layout perspective. So with a below average course, they had cart path only for the whole weekend. Their justification was because the course was too wet from a rain a few days ago. When I went out there I found the course was barely wet. Yes there was a small puddle every few holes, but one needs to just drive around the puddle or they can put a rope in front of it so people know not to drive on that spot.
All in all I felt like they ripped me off. Once they got my money, then they changed expectations.
If you want to get treated like a customer and be able to drive a golf cart off the cart path go somewhere else. If you like cart path only come to this place.

IF YOU ARE A GOLFER THAT TAKES A CART THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU. If it rains even a little bit they make it cart path only or shut down the course. Their main course was shut down for 3 of the 4 days we were there.
My dad has health issues and cannot walk much. So he couldnt play golf on the other course they had open because they had it cart path only almost the whole time we were there. There were maybe 3 areas on the course that were soggy and they make it cart path only for the whole course. Makes no sense. They should have just roped off those soggy areas and let people drive the cart to their ball.
When we asked their staff why it was cart path only, they said because i said so. When I asked where are the wet areas of the course that is causing this cart path only rule they couldnt give me a good answer. The blind leading the blind at this place.
We paid over $600 a person for a stay and play package and couldnt golf much. We got ripped off.
The same weekend this place had their courses shut down and others cart path only we went and played a nearby course that was much nicer. They let us drive our cart to our ball the whole day.
So if this business responds with trying to justify their actions it is not a valid reason.
If other courses in the area are much nicer and allow you to drive your cart to your ball, why would you want to play here?
There was also a blood stain on my sheets.

We recently stayed at Fairway Inn & Suites in Mishicot, WI for a two-night, all-you-can-play golf trip with a group of 20 golfers. It was an outstanding experience. This was our fourth visit in four years to the property, and this year was by far the best yet.
The course conditions were excellent—fairways and greens in top shape—and the service and food were absolutely on point. A huge shoutout to Rusty and his entire team for going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.
Everyone in our group had a blast, and I’ve already been asked to make sure we lock in dates for next year. Thank you again to the Fairway Inn & Suites team for another incredible trip. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Can’t wait to come back!

Oh boy, only one of the two bedside outlets worked, and no separate phone charger so hopefully you don't have 2 things to plug in. The room smelled like wet Doritos, but not surprised with the pool right there. The bathroom floor was so dirty it was 3 different colors and I think that was rust on the tissue box, but I didn't feel like touching it to find out. The freezer in the mini-fridge needs to be defrosted-badly! Tried watching TV but the strip of pixels that was missing in the middle of the screen was kind of distracting and it only had basic satellite channels. Don't leave at night, or during the day for that matter, you can barely make out the parking lot lines so parking was a little....crooked. We went to breakfast the next morning....once we found it. No signage and we were barely told about it at check-in. The food was cold and the chairs were cracked/broken.
The arcade is cute and they're trying to upgrade the pool, which is nice especially with the rec center closed up by the villas. If you're looking for a quick place to crash cause you'll be on the golf course all day, this place is ok. Otherwise, pass.

Came up for a job for 2 weeks and this one one of our options. Very very affordable pricing compared to other places I normally stay and it was very quiet other than the workers doing renovations during the afternoon and evening. They are currently in the middle of large scale renovations so I can't speak to the full experience but for what I needed(a place to sleep and rest after work), it was more than adequate. As mentioned they are currently doing some major renovations so I didn't get to experience the pool or bar... which both seem to be on track to be amazing. The staff were amongst the friendliest I have ever experienced in my travels. They were honestly the best part. The rooms are ever so slightly dated but they have all of the amenities you would expect in a hotel. I did not have any of my sleeping interrupted from the renovation work so I believe they stop around 8 p.m sh this will depend on your schedule. The only thing I disliked was having to drive 15 minutes to get food but once the bar/restaurant is open, that shouldn't be an issue. The area is beautiful although quite cold during winter but that's going to be any location around here. If you're working at Point Beach for outage work, you are a very quick zip up the road to the plant. About 13 minutes most days. Also if you're a True Crime fan, the Steven Avery Salvage Yard from Netflix's "Making A Murderer" is literally 5 minutes up the road!! Just be careful bc they own that entire area surrounding it. Beds were comfy and despite the old style of building it is very cozy and quaint inside. During the summer I imagine the golf course here is a great time. Hopefully I can come back up here during warmer weather and see the true beauty that this area obviously has. I hung a Do Not Disturb sign and I don't think Housekeeping ever entered my room and they never knocked on the door so props there. But they did do sweeps throughout different times so I doubt you'd have trouble getting your room cleaned or fresh towels and rags. I think once this place is fully renovated, it will be the place to stay near Manitowoc.

Stayed in the Condo time share area, 2 stars because all the pools and hot tubs were not available to use. The alternative at the Two-Rivers YMCA which is 20min away also had their hot tube out of service. Apparently the one pool will be ready some time in April 2025. CALL BEFORE YOU STAY to see what amenities are availible.
Condos are dated but function well, some beds are comfy, some are lumpy and some are hard as a rock.

Booked through a third party and called ahead to see if they could have our rooms at least close to each other. Put me on hold told me they’d let me know when I got there. Got there to find out all the amenities were broken or under renovation. After explaining we were in town for special event and had kids. The vending machine was even “out of order”. I then was overcharged for both of my rooms. And was supposedly comped a night, that was a lie. The “continental breakfast” was stale cereal and expired premade sandwiches. The juice was old no taste/expired. We had to go buy waffles and use their broken toaster by holding it down while the waffles somewhat cooked. Found mold in the ice bucket where my immune compromised cousin was in. Still have not updated their website to show they’re under renovation. And didn’t make any effort to right the wrongs or make our experience better. We made the best of it, I hope new owners can actually improve this place. It’s off to a rocky start. Staff needs to put forth actual effort and take the feedback and utilize it to improve.

Booked for the Thanksgiving for the Packers game
The location is a little far from GB but the price was pretty good for what we got
3 things that I disliked about the place,
The hallways smelled like a hospital and
The bathroom sinks were outside in the room
The room walls were thin as you can hear the other room when talking
Overall 6/10

Their refund policy is very misleading. I canceled a room reserved for December in mid October and was charged a 25.00 cancelation charge. I disputed it but it was denied. Reading the policy you get a 25 charge if you cancel EARLIER than 7 days and a penalty if you cancel after 7 days to reservation. You are screwed. Avoid at all costs.

We have been going to the Fox Hill Resort for 3 years in a row. Unfortunately, it seems to be going gradually downhill. No matter the price, a room should be clean. The apartment we were given had a filthy carpet that made our white sox turn black within a short time. The upholstery on the couch was old, dirty and wrinkled. The shower curtain had mold growing on it. The refrigerator had a broken shelf. The drain in the bathroom sink would not hold water. We were disappointed, left early and will not return.

Our group of 12 guys from Chicago spent 3 nights at Par 5. We golfed 90 holes , 4 -18’s on the championship National links type course and 3 9’s on the red, white and blue courses . Breakfast everyday, lunch for 2 days , and dinner for 3 days was included. Breakfast was standard motel’s , lunch was brats, hot dogs or double cheeseburgers , very good fries with any of those. Dinners were buffets and the quality and quantity were very good ,though certainly not gourmet. One of the great things about Par 5 is once you pull your car/ pickup intothe parking lot you are given a cart and you never have to drive anywhere. The restaurant, bar , breakfast area, pool/ hot tub are all within a short walking distance. Internet was spotty. Overall, we were treated very well . I have already recommended the resort to others. I only gave location as 4 stars because it’s 3 1/2 hours from Chicago and traffic was horrible on 294 , not the resorts fault
we were treated very well

This hotel needs some major renovation and cleaning. If they are going to operate it in the condition it is in, the price should reflect the condition of hotel. The bathtub had black mold in the bottom, shower had no water pressure, carpet in halls disgustingly dirty and needs replacement, overall condition of the building is deteriorating, toaster was very dirty and did not toast bread when making breakfast, windows in entrances looked like they haven't been cleaned since last year. The front clerk almost seemed embarrassed to ask that we check our pool towels in and out or we would be charged per missing towel, the priority of this business should be elsewhere. When in town for a meal rumor has it that this hotel will be gone next year. It is already past its life expectancy unless someone takes interest in cleaning, repairing or updating.

Was just at my Brother's wedding in which we had a big block of rooms. My sister's room the fridge and shower didn't work. We needed a cot for our room , got one with springs all broke on one side. Shower drain clogged , took a shower and was standing in 2 inches of water waiting for the water to drain.
In the middle of the reception a band started up in the bar for a different group of people that was right next to reception hall and clearly interfered with the reception. Very poor planning.
Pool room was extremely slippery in certain spots , my kids and I almost fell a couple of times. Breakfast was ok at best, ran out of syrup first day and sausage the second day. Staff was ok but some seemed like when your telling them something was wrong it was a big inconvenience for them. Was not impressed at all. Will not be going back anytime soon.

This place used to be one of the best places to enjoy a great wedding celebration with great food and friends...now you're lucky if you even get all of your food before the end of your meal. Just had a wedding last night and here is the amazing timetable. They came out of the gates perfectly on time handing out the salad bar at 5:30 sharp for all the tables...one would think this was a great start minus the fact that people usually like more than 3oz of salad dressing for a table of 8 people but let's go on. After roughly 45 minutes to digest our salads finally the meal started to come out starting with the mashed potatoes and stuffing. This was a great appetizer to hold us over for the additional 20 minute wait until the rest of the main course started to trickle out. So to make it short (unlike the wait for the meal) we got our pork 20 minutes after the mashed potatoes and stuffing, 15 minutes later the burnt chicken came out, another 10 minutes later they dropped off some asparagus. Finally I thought the embarrassment concluded, but after we got done with our desert they finally dropped off our gravy for the mashed potatoes. You literally can't make this up and worst of all no one working there even seemed to care. $33 dollars a plate and $9 for a weak drink for service I wouldn't even expect in Illinois. Please don't ruin what should be the best day of your life by overpaying for a crappy hotel room and some of the worst food and experience you can have at a wedding.

This is the place to have your wedding . First of all huge shot out to Anabel pico the new event coordinated. She’s amazing, and so professional she was always on time even answering my text / emails when she was out of the office . She even called me when I was supposed to call her lol . I’m terrible at planning any type of event so she made it easy for me always clear with contract , price , time, every little
Detail . I’m glad I came to this place when she arrived because what I see in past review before here were not so great . My family, inlaws and guest they all were happy with the place everything looks so delicious oh and let me tell you about the food it tasted way better that’s the tasting day and we love it on the tasting day the salmon , the chicken and the mash potatoes so yummy everything. Rooms have balconies with beautiful view to the golf course. Front desk, bartenders everyone was great professional, kind , polite . I love it thanks again Anabel for removing all the stress from my wedding planning . The crystal room was being remodeled when I signed the contract and I’m so glad we signed because it looks magical . We had the ceremony outside everything was perfect .

5 Stars all around! We went up with 16 neighborhood Dads for a golf getaway. From the first contact we knew we were in the right place. This group has been doing these outings for over 10 years at a different location. We decided to try a new location and stumbled upon Par5. The communication, customer service, facilities and price was all incredible. Every employee we dealt with was glad we were there and extremely helpful. We dealt with 3 different people at the front desk, 4 different people on the golf course, 2 guys in the bar and every single one of them made our trip that much better. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We will 100% be back next year and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet golf getaway at this hidden gem.

This place is a complete joke. I wish I could give 0 stars. The staff is incredibly rude and they don't know anything about being in the hospitality business. My boyfriend and I made a tee time and paid ahead of time. We drove over an hour to go golfing. Once we go there, they said they didn't have any tee times available even though we made our reservation online. We then demanded our money back and said they didn't know how to do a refund. We were at the Par 5 Resort Bar and Restaurant this past weekend and what a disappointment. Only one bartender to serve drinks and food and she did not seem to care. We stood for over 5 minutes just to get drinks when she finally came over with an attitude. Several other people that were there also experienced the same service. This used to be a fun place to go but it has gone downhill in the past few years. They had a band in the ballroom on Friday night but never advertised that the band was playing, so basically it was only the people from the Fox Hills Condo Association Owner's Meeting that attended.....poor management with a terrible business model. The food was sub par, husband's chicken sandwich tasted like it had freezer burn. They need to develop a plan to generate more interest in coming to this resort if they want to stay in business.

I expected far less than what it was to be honest. The hot tub was not working during our stay but we knew it would be a short one so that didn't bother us. |My husband and I are still talking about what a hidden gem this place is. First, Although the building and grounds exteriors were a bit outdated, the room was spotless! Beds were comfy, temp comfortable, lots of pillow choices. The pool as so wonderful and a perfect temp, super clean and the chlorine was not overdone. Also, the hot tub was a nice bonus:large, great temp and also super clean. Workout center was nice with mens and womens showers. We were very surprised that there was a complimentary small breakfast. It is shocking that more Green Bay Packer fans dont stay here- its a easy 40 min drive to the stadium. Loved all the wonderful staff: housekeeping, the greeter at breakfast, and the front desk person Andriel (wonderfully courteous). Very diverse staff which says a great deal about the management: when you want to welcome the world to your place, hire the people of the world. We will be back!!! Thank you for the quite and peaceful rest

Just had a one night stay in the hotel part of the Par5 Resort (2 Queen Bed room). The good parts: the room was generally clean, the staff were friendly, the continental breakfast was better than expected, and the location was convenient for our travel in the area. The areas for improvement: the common areas like stairs, hallway carpet were stained and dirty. It was clear that the carpeting in the hallway and stairs had not been vacuumed recently. The pool area was not clean, the pool floor had paint worn off and the pool edges were grimed with a scum of dead skin/body oils. In our room I went to use the coffee machine but was unable to find anywhere to plug it in. I would have had to take it across the room and place it on the floor to plug it in to use.
I know this resort hotel has been great in the past, but it clearly is not getting the attention or staffing needed to keep up with standard maintenance.

Visited in June for a wedding. The place appeared quite disorganized. On the wedding rehearsal night, the woman at the bar was the only one working. I felt so bad for her. At the wedding reception, the staff did not look happy to be working the event. However, it's not completely surprising as I learned that the staff had no idea about the wedding due to staffing changes. I'm glad I stayed at a different location!

Valentine's special was not so special.
(Last year was good, this year not)
CONS:
*Hot tub out-of-order
*Check IN woman tried to over charge, did not tell us checkout time, did not tell us that there is a continental breakfast or breakfast buffet at bistro
*Room keys wont open pool/fitness area no matter how many times they give a new special pool key card.
*BISTRO GETS "ONE" STAR
-$66 for frozen then microwaved food (all guests we talked to agreed)
PROS:
*free bottle of wine
*good continental breakfast & EMPLOYEE
*check OUT guy caught extra charges
*Nice remodeled shower
*Nice fitness area bathroom/locker room
*Bistro waitress is a ROCKSTAR but she is setup for failure. She was the only waitress and also bartender at some points & food was horrible (all guests agreed)
*Valentine's special Gift card that we got to use to pay for the horrible food.

We had the premium king suite, for a kids birthday party. There were streamers still on the wall and balloons left in the room from the previous guest. The bed had crumbs in it from the previous guest. You could tell all they do is spot check. The pool had black floaty things in it. The events coordinator never reached out to us and we gave them almost a month to do so. If you are picking this place to do any sort of party good luck.

Went to a wedding and they ran out of meat on the taco bar. Had more than plenty of everything else and only had one small pan of backup that we had to wait 5 minutes for them to heat it while we stood in line. Some tables didn't even get meat at all. Rooms are not completely remodeled except for flooring instead of carpeting, so price is pretty high. Everything else went well except for a golf cart being moved and they came to the bride and groom for help rather than finding it for themselves. No clue who took it or why, doesn't mean anyone from the wedding did. Leaving keys in a golf cart isn't smart on their part...there were a lot of other guests in the hotel. Waitstaff and bartenders were great. Thankful there was a restaurant owner at the wedding since soda guns were out of co2 and the drinks didn't taste good til he discovered the problem and then and changed out. New owners, new staff, lots of kinks to be worked out yet.

We recently had a golf outing at Par 5 Resort and had a very enjoyable time throughout our three days there. Michelle Farr as Group Sales Manager helps drive the entire process and is instrumental in helping to make things run smoothly. From her and her team providing the lodging in addition to everything else they do, to Julie and her team for organizing the delicious meals and to Chip and his team for helping to organize the golfing set up, we had a most enjoyable experience there. Thank you Par 5 and Team for helping to make our 8th annual outing a memorable one! We look forward to #9 next September.

New management of Chip and JR have everything running well and the golfers are taken care of with exceptional customer service. Carts were ready, Tee times were prompt, and all 5 nines were in great shape. I highly recommend Par 5 Resort to all golfers. Carl Graves

Great day golfing. The courses were beautiful and in good condition.
It was disappointing that the restaurant wasn’t up and running. They used to have a good fish fry.
There also didn’t seem to be a set price for beer. Every bartender had a different price.
Otherwise it was a great weekend golfing.

First of all… My husband and I got married here on 8/20/21. Our wedding was gorgeous, but everything behind the scenes was quite awful. We signed our contract right after the change in ownership from Fox Hills to Par 5. Within a time span of 2 years, I had 5 different consultants because everyone that I started with, left the company, so I would be assigned a new one. In the process of trying to finalize details, things were missing. Not to mention having to go over all wedding details with each consultant I got. The anxiety a bride has is already crazy, but getting a new consultant 1 month prior to my wedding was AWFUL. There are so many other things that happened the week and day of the wedding but the most important to me that shows the type of service, is what’s happening now after the wedding. Per my contract and conversations with my consultant, Hailey, after the wedding we will be refunded for items we didn’t use or receive. 3 months after our wedding and I had sent SEVERAL emails and left SEVERAL voicemails, as well as my mother in law had called. I hadn’t heard from neither the financing department nor my consultant in 2 months. At the end, they refunded partially and provided us with a voucher for a 2 night stay in the deluxe suites.
We have returned a year later to redeem our voucher and celebrate our anniversary with our friends. I spoke with hotel manager, Karah, 2 months ago to book our rooms and confirmed multiple times of what rooms we had and the dates. We arrived this evening to the room for our friends not being put into the system. They wanted the king room across the hall from us. They were given a 2 queen room a few doors down. They wanted to charge us over $60 more for the queen room, when we were supposed to be given these rooms for the pricing we were quoted 2 months ago. The only assistance they’ve given is giving us the price we were quoted, but no additional discounts for not having the room booked, due to the negligence of management, and also having to wait 30+ minutes to get our friends checked into their room. When they got into their room, first thing they found was a pillow with a very large spot of dried blood. The beds feel wet, there are spider webs all over and there are many pubic hairs on the floor of their bathroom. My husband and I checked into our deluxe suite, which is one of their bridal suites, and the curtains are falling down, the AC unit is falling out of the wall, and there is a massive hole in the window that looks like it was broken out from a golf ball… but all that’s been done to fix it thus far is a piece of cardboard and duct tape to cover it. I am still waiting at this point to get a phone call from the Direct supervisor of our hotel manager to address these issues but from what I’ve seen in previous reviews, not going to happen.
Par 5 has shown me extreme unprofessionalism during and after wedding. Par 5 is a beautiful establishment, excellent food and the wait staff and bar staff were phenomenal during our day. But I cannot recommend par 5 for weddings or hotel stays after everything that has happened.
The new ownership is completely destroying the reputation of what used to be Fox Hills and I have heard this from many locals as well that will not return.

Horrible hotel! To start our weekend we travel an hour to find out they lost our reservation! We reserved a king suite. Cara, one of the managers doesnt answer her phone to get this rectfied. We are then told they have a double queen room but its $60 more a night and they cant do anything about it. They finally get in touch with another manager named Heron because the system will not let them book the room. He absolutely refuses to give any other compensation except price match the rates. Finally an hour later we get our room and find a pillow with dried blood all over it! So gross! Also nit queen beds they are full beds at best!! False advertising! Just to top off our first night we see a mouse run across the patio of the bridal suite and something bigger run across the front door!! The hotel is dirty and spider webs in every corner. The beds feel wet. Save your money and stay somewhere else!

I've never stayed in a place that didn't have hangers before, but well I guess there's a first for everything. But the worst part of this experience was they wouldn't give me a late checkout, when the checkout time was 11am.
Pretty much everybody gives you 12 noon, and then 1om if you need it, but the clerk was rude when I asked.
On top of that, the maids were already circling and pestering me when I was packing up. What a poorly managed place! Especially when you consider I had to pay about $350, for just one night. Not their fault, as everyone was jacking up prices for the football game in the general region that weekend.
Also, the coffee maker in the room had to be the most primitive and outdated model that I have ever seen. They get 1 star because the bed was decent, the room a nice size and breakfast ok.

Really not worth your time yet. Hopefully they up their game. The place could be nice and it looks like they're trying to change, but they're not there yet. Take the rusty tissue box cover out of the bathroom, just leave the tissue box. Rusty metal looks nasty. Also, your charging enough for the breakfast ($12.00 a person) to upgrade the buffet food. Really, at least fry the hash browns before you slop them in the steam tray. Hash BROWNS, hope you get it together, you have a nice property, keep investing.

Par 5 has a long way to go when serving handicapped guests. The main lobby is not accessible to wheelchairs as there is a step. The upper entrance which is handicap accessible is full of golf carts in front of it and has no automatic door opener. My Mom felt like she was going through an obstacle course just to get to the car. I understand this is a golf resort but if you are going to use it as a wedding venue (which is why we were there) the young able bodied golfers could walk a little farther and be more considerate of those not as able bodied as themselves! They need an area to park their carts away from that door.
The only handicapped room had a king size bed. Most handicapped individuals need assistance hence travel with someone else. That person in not always a spouse or someone who want to sleep in the same bed! A room with 2 full size or 2 queens would be preferred.
So we ended up in a regular room with no bars for assistance in the bathroom with a lower toilet. This was very hard for my Mom to use and very difficult for me to help her up and down to use the bathroom. The wedding ceremony took place outside but the reception area was difficult to find and access for those in wheelchairs. At a minimum there should be some directions provided to the bride and groom so they can let their guests know. There is also no access to the bar and the restrooms where quite some distance from the reception area. All in all a difficult stay for us.

Attended an annual golf outing over the weekend with 23 in our party. Stayed in one of the villas. Multiple people from our group reported ants in parts of their villa. Bathroom especially; floor and on the sink top all over my bathroom essentials. Dead bugs all around the sliding door; just not clean. Was given a check list of things to do before leaving, if not completed, we’d be charged an extra $50. I get making it easier for your workers and all but then I’d expect the rooms to be clean and bug-less at least. Older guy in the pro shop was not people friendly at all. Needs to get off his high-horse and learn to be accommodating. When we pay for “unlimited golf,” don’t tell us ‘there’s 64 others in front of you so I’ll see you in 2 hrs.’ But when the conversation continues, we can tee off blue right away? New owners need to realize what they’re going to lose. Hearing how poor the staff is treated along with dirty rooms, MULTIPLE people not even in our group talking about how poor things have gotten, and then wanting to increase drink prices; what a joke. A shame to see such a great place go downhill so fast simply from ownership. I hope the staff can get out and find something better; they truly are the only reason I’d return. (Can’t wait for the auto response of ‘we’ll use this to better accommodate those in the future.’ Sure you will.)

The course was in great shape. We played the white and red course. My only suggestion for improvement is on the tee box on the white #5. The trees are growing in so much that it is very difficult to tee off from the gold tees. I would suggest cutting back a few of the branches on to open up the tee box.

After I while, got seated, waited for someone to come over and serve us. After 25 minutes and not even one person came to at least acknowledge that we even exist??? I'm good , we left. As the minutes went by we started to notice the little things that were a little wrong, the main TV would not work properly no picture and with a 93 year old grandmother with dementia it was not very good. The refrigerator was leaking water inside so some of the groceries got wet and that was the first 2 hours. I love the set up of the unit 😍 but the incidentals seem to be deal breaker for next fall.

Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! Was part of a wedding at this place. What a joke. The wedding coordinator SUCKED!! I don't think she's ever attended a wedding. Had no clue how to run a rehearsal. Then pizza and soda was to be rehearsal dinner. As we arrived we found out soda no longer included. The day of the wedding when asked if the florist had arrived her answer was "I don't have anything to do with your vendors" are you not the coordinator? The wedding dinner was served cold. We had to ask to have it all reheated. There was 2 weddings going on lots of people but the main bar closed at 11. When I did go to the main bar for a drink there was at most 10 people at the bar 2 bar tenders working and it took 20 minutes to get a drink!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING!!!!

My wife and I had our wedding here this past weekend. The coordinators employed here are a joke. For the amount of money we spent and the lack of knowledge they had we are very very disappointed. The communication was and continues to be very disrespectful or even nonexistent. This place ruined our experience and we will not recommend hosting any event here to anyone in the future. In the 6 month before our wedding my wife was left in tears of anger after every meeting, phone call, or email. Not to mention our bridal suite bathroom was used by someone else during our reception. We did not give or share our room card with anyone outside of our wedding party. I talked to the front desk Saturday night and asked them to check the cameras. Turns out our room was in a dead zone with zero cameras pointing at it. So nothing was done. Makes no sense to me knowing you rent this suite to your wedding parties. Even our coordinator was no where to be found Sunday morning. My wife's phone call to staff still hasn't been returned either. Take your money and business to a better place & stay away.

Part 2 of 2 from Sam Salewski:
For many months beforehand, we’ve been pushed around or shrugged off by the staff here. Staffing changes are bound to happen, as they do in any business but it does not justify the details that were lost in the transition of new staff and the treatment we were given.
We booked this venue with a Fox Hills contract and we never requested to meet the new owners or sign a new contract. A great example of when this could’ve been beneficial to both parties involved; August 2021, 2 months before our wedding I logged onto our electronic bill to find an additional $750 charge added on without any explanation. We did not receive a single phone call, message, or email to expect this change. I had to confront staff to be told “I was tasked by the owners to go through all of the event orders to make sure nothing had been missed, as when the crossovers were taking place, some items weren't added at that time when they should have been.” That being said, is this the customers fault or the staff’s fault? It was beyond UNPROFESSIONAL to tack on more and more money without any kind of notification to your customer. I was then told I would have to choose, “And actually, according to what all past, present, and future contracts say for the food, it is all subject to market pricing. Technically, the price for family style with Broasted chicken and beef tips is now $25 per person. Because of the market price going up so much more and how much of a difference it would have been to just have the room charge added instead of changing the food price, I was trying my best to keep the food at where it was previously, but technically, I am supposed to be charging the newest price.” BUT no where in my contract were the words “market pricing.” I gave Hailey my contract, that she took copies of. At that point we were even threatened that we could have our wedding dropped by the new owners and lose our venue. The gist of the comment I was given in person “Technically since we have new owners now they don’t have to follow your contract and could choose a different customer since we’re still having inquiries for October.” Who tells their client this??? Let alone about a month before their wedding?!?!?! I even had to listen to complaints that people were getting in trouble over these errors and that we were being difficult. Time and time again I have proven our accuracies and YOUR inaccuracies. I have made my contracted payments. My list could continue but I hope anyone reading this, steers clear of this business for your wedding. The headaches, tears, and stress are NOT worth what this place can offer you. Par 5 GET IT TOGETHER!

Nice place, but nothing out of the ordinary. Staff was courteous and accommodating though, but Friday night buffet was not at all worth the price. And the queen size sofa bed was beyond terrible. It would be an insult to offer it to a guest.

Golf courses are great, hotel/accommodations are just ok. We attempted to order food at 7pm in the bar/restaurant area, also it was Saturday evening and they claimed they were not making food. I look to my right and there were a group of patrons eating pizza. I felt this was an odd response and awful customer service.
