1st of all we were seated, sat for 10 min and waited for drinks. Drinks came not a sign of the waitress for another 15 min for her return. Prime rib is a definite NO!!!!! It has NO flavor. And was very very tough. the waitress never told us what the special was. We heard another waitress tell other customers. This is our 2nd time staying here and 1st time eating! Excellent as always. We come up to go s x s riding and this has been and continue to be our go to place to stay! We got there to check in at 830pm-ish and didnt want to bother them for supper since it was closing time, but the lady that owns/runs the place insisted and it was delicious! Thank you again! Figured we would try to go local for dinner tonight. Decided to give Fannie's a try for the menu online looked pretty good and we hadn't been there in 20+ years. When we pulled in you could smell sewage outside. We went in and even though it's extremely outdated it had kind of a old school feel kinda like a Al Capone era. Our waitress was fantastic. We were told right away that they were out of prime rib which was fine because we didn't want it anyway. My girlfriend had to reorder 3 different times because every time she ordered something they came back and said they were out. So she settled for scallops and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were so cold you couldn't melt the butter in it. The scallops were rubbery and to much paprika on them. I had to change my order as well because they were out so I got a ribeye which wasn't to bad along with a lobster tail and shrimp scampi with steamed broccoli. The broccoli was excellent. The shrimp scampi was some small salad shrimp in a boat over seasoned with paprika. I also ordered the escargot for and appetizer and was pretty decent. My brother ordered the seafood curry pasta which wasn't curry at all and was garnished with what looked like nature's pubes.relish bar was basically empty. The French onion soup was decent. Wasn't really impressed with the food quality for $125.00 but was impressed with how our waitress made sure we didn't go dry and kept our sodas topped off.

Food was very poor quality. Pretty sure instant potatoes were used - that flavor is very distinct. The Tuscan chicken was so dry that it was almost inedible. Very understaffed but the service we did receive from our waitress was good, though felt bad that she had so many tables. Unfortunately cannot recommend a meal at Fannie’s based off our experience.

Fannie's Supper Club is a great place to enjoy a fine meal in a welcoming atmosphere! We went with my father-in-law and were greeted by the host as we entered and confirmed our reservation. The bar area is staffed by a pleasant staff, and the drinks were great! We ordered appetizers which were fantastic, baked Brie and crab stuffed mushrooms. The relish bar is well appointed with many favorites including 3 bean salad, olives, pickles, herring, and more!! We enjoyed seafood (crab cakes n shrimp scampi) and steak (prime rib and tomahawk ribeye). All dishes were cooked to perfection along with a wonderful selection of sides. We finished off the meal by sharing creme brulee. Our server was a 'rookie' and impressed into service for the night as they were hosting a company party. He did a fantastic job, and was very attentive. We were very pleased to have the owner Melissa come out from the kitchen and chat with us and sign our book. It was a great evening out!

Went there at 5pm on a Saturday evening. There was a total of 2 tables seated when we walked in - NOT busy at all. The service was terrible. The worst I've had in I can't remember since when. Improper quantity of dishes & flatware for our party (even though we had reservations), dishes were dirty. No bartender when we walked in, took 30 minutes to get drinks. Food didn't arrive until we had been there 90 minutes, and it was NOT worth the wait. "pork belly bites" were horrible - extemely overdone and dry. The prime rib was anything but prime, very tough and chewy, as if they think the "prime" in the name is a cooking method and not a quality grade (the poor cooking quality notwithstanding, which would DEFINITELY not rate the dish as "prime". Wait staff had no idea what they were doing, condiments had to be explicitly requested, and even then incorrect items were brought. Requesting the correct condiments resulted in snide remarks from the wait staff "well that's what the cook gave me", and unless you pressed them, you were stuck with whatever nonsense they decided to give you. Clearing of dirty dishes was well below standards, we had to stack them up on an adjacent table to get them out of the way. This was our first time back since they originally opened under new ownership, and it was grudgingly so (due to a birthday party). We had originally sworn them off after our previous experience. This was the last straw, we will never return, birthday requests be damned. Stay away - FAR away.

Looked at the mixed reviews and figured we would give this place a try.Had to check in to the motel at supper club. OK. Well, had to wait a very long time while bartender made drinks. They were busy but not slammed. We must have not counted! Then asked for ice and she said we'd have to wait. Again! After waiting for awhile decided just to go to town for it. Rooms are clean and comfortable but quaintly out dated. Only 7 TV channels. We went back to the restaurant for supper. Not busy at all now so started out good. When our food came, the lobster was cold and steak was not cooked right. Also extra toppings were missing. Had the steak recooked, it took forever. Then the cut was so bad couldn't eat it! Guess if your not a regular, you don't count. Won't be back!

Young waitress with the short brown hair and tacky blonde highlights in her bangs- was terrible. Horrible attitude and had a hard time listening, messed up our order and didn't even give us everything we ordered. Lobster was ice cold and we ordered a well done steak for her to give us a bloody piece of meat, when we asked to have it cooked more she disappeared and when she brought it back she rudely said "I don't know if this is well done" and walked away. First of all, this is a classic absolutely wonderful WI supper club and very clean Motel. My wife and I have been making the rounds around the state and this one is right there in the top 10%, especially given the rural location. I was pleasantly surprised by a menu that had the WI classics but also had stuff I would expect to see downtown Portland OR or Vancouver BC.

Second, it turns out the crew there will take their food prep skills on the road and are willing to be an infinitely flexible catering crew. My fiancé grew up near there and knew some of them so it was a natural choice to hire them for our wedding. That decision turned out to be a very key one to having an amazing wedding.

One of the main food buffets was to be a larger order of imported Italian charcuterie meats and cheeses from Gloriosos’s Italian Deli in Milwaukee. Through a series of unfortunate events, that food arrived the night before in a custom built styrofoam cooler that had completely collapsed and crushed all the food containers together, even cracking some.

At first sight I thought the whole order was done for. The Fannie’s crew led by Lissa pushed me aside and sent me on a mission to collect as much ice and coolers I could find. Now it’s important to the story to note we are in backwaters deep remote NE Wisconsin at an old CCC built log hall next to a waterfall in the headwaters of the Peshtigo river, the closest town is 30 miles away by gravel roads. I rode the trusted rented electric golf cart around to all my friends at the campsite and collected all the ice and coolers I could. After that I had to leave them and go do the wedding rehearsal. When I came back 2 hours later to see what the damage was, I was told all was fine and nothing had been lost. I was incredulous!

Then for a final surprise, they had brought up a fantastic collection of serving glassware and for the final food buffet had it set up in a way that literally stopped me abruptly in my tracks when I first saw it. I was speechless. It was so SO far beyond what I had expected would have been done.

I was not the only one. Throughout the night there was constantly people coming up to us and saying how this was the nicest food combination and setup they have EVER seen at a wedding.

So our true heartfelt thank you goes out to Lissa and the Fannies’ crew. And we HIGHLY recommend anyone that arrived reading this to the end, to choose them as your catering go to, especially when it’s as important as a wedding!!!

Where do I start? The broccoli cheese dip appetizer with the kettle chips? The best soup I literally have ever had? Apple Gouda cream soup with pepitas. It was so outstanding that I got a cup to go! We came to town for 3 days to work the Farm Technology show nearby. On a whim rented rooms at this motel/supper club not knowing what to expect. There was no employees around the night we arrived so they had us set up for self check in. When we arrived it was like a ghost town with nobody around as the supper club is closed on Monday evenings. Upon check in our rooms were very clean and the decor was amazingly nostalgic.

The next day after work we tried the supper club. We arrived on a very busy night and a full restaurant, due to the farm show. We were absolutely amazed at how great and efficient the staff was despite being so busy in a very small town! Our food was absolutely amazing, so we ended up coming back later for dessert and late evening drinks, again the desserts and drinks were amazing! We chatted with the owner and many workers, everyone was so friendly! Our experience was so great that we ended up coming here for dinner the next night as well. Every item of food we tried was delicious and we left feeling like family! I will definitely go out of my way to come back to this place and highly recommend going, you will not regret it!

I have been waiting to try this Supper Club the past couple of times I've been in the area, but they were always closed on the night I was here. Fortunately they were open this time and I'm very happy they were. While they struggle with staffing as most restaurants are now, Kelli was great and very responsive despite being pretty much alone.

The Old Fashioned was made well. The Wedge Salad was tasty. The ribeye was cooked well, but a tad underseasoned. They had a great selection of dessert, but I was too full to partake.

I will definitely return when I'm working in the area again.

We had to wait at the bar for a key to the room, which was open when we got there. As we walled in, we knew we made a mistake reserving a room here. Several of the rooms were open, so we checked out the other rooms, which looked to be a little cleaner than our room. Looks like no one has wiped the dust in a few months. Didn't want to sit on the toilet, and felt I needed shower shoes in the tub. I don't believe the floor was vacuumed after the last rental. While the air conditioner worked, it was far too loud to sleep though, so I opened the window. I kept a gun close by, but it appears to be a safe area. The walls are thin, so if there is someone in the next room, you'll hear everything. So will they. We had a great view of the parking lot. The drapes kept most of the light out, so it wasn't bad a night. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, so the wife was not willing to use the toilet. She also believes we slept on dirty sheets. We did see a guy with a dog, so it's pet friendly. ||||Two single guys looking to get drunk and pass out? This is your place. Anyone a little more sophisticated, stay somewhere else. ||||The price was low, so I can't complain about that. And I felt safe being there.

Ate at this quaint, vintage-type WI supper club on August 18, 2021. Not at all noisy with a nice bit of nostalgic, lower light atmosphere. Quite a number of locals noted which is invariably a good sign. Started off things right with a chilled raspberry "Dock Blocker" wine from Forgotten Fire Winery of Marinette, WI. It was a hot Summer day and the raspberry vino was a nice pairing in the air conditioned dining room along with our giant-size glazed chix wings appetizer. Nice heat, flavor and temperature contrast. They were almost a meal itself! Next enjoyed the chilled iceberg wedge salad topped off with bleu cheese crumbles, dried cranberries, chopped red onions, real bacon bits and maple candied walnuts in a house maple vinaigrette & balsamic glaze. Stunningly good! Our entrees were the Wednesday Special 18 large shrimp for $17.99 and a Smothered Salmon (spinach, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes in roasted garlic butter sauce). The shrimp were cooked well and certainly could serve as a "meal for two" itself along with it's 2 side dishes! The salmon was likewise cooked and served hot with baby red mashed potatoes. The only slight drawback was that while the dish was very good, the smothered was just that, smothered... What did I expect, right?!? It was simply a bit over-powered for this palate. Great menu diversity at very reasonable prices make selections pleasantly challenging. Very clean dining and rest rooms are always a big plus. Nice Happy Hour drink specials and Early Bird eating options too. Dessert offerings are wonderful as well. The sole issue encountered is that of a nationwide concern at present: a slight absence of wait staff. While our server was extremely kind and capable, the new one yet in training was understandably a bit overwhelmed. Bartender and maítre d could have been a bit more active in assisting with table cleanup and processing requests for added napkins, etc. (Chix wings were great but a bit saucy for a single cloth napkin and cloth table cover!). Overall, Fannie's is a very nice place to truly enjoy a relaxing and delicious meal at reasonable pricing. A definite 👍and most worthy of repeat visits!!

The hotel is a no frills place to get a good nights rest at a reasonable price. The restaurant has a wonderful quiet atmosphere, food was outstanding, service was good, but you could tell that they were focused on closing. But it’s located on site with the hotel. I would stay here again

One of the best mom and pop motels I’ve stayed at. I travel a lot for my job, and have seen a lot of motels. This is by far one of my favorite ones. The rooms are spacious and well kept, the staff is fantastic and they are very accommodating and reasonable. The food across the parking lot is incredible, makes you feel at home. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I have really loved Fannie's until the new Ownership/management took over. I absolutely loved the haddock fish fry. Everything else was quite disappointing. If it wasn't for the friendly staff and the fish I would have only given 1 star.
I think that Fannie's has really gone down hill.

It was ok, but not the Fannies of a few years ago. I realize there is a new captain steering the ship there, but for some reason, this meal was lacking. That was also the agreement from the group of 5 i was with. The bartender was rude, I don't know what her issue was, but you could clearly see she wasn't happy being there. Bar service was slow, and drinks were average. The French onion soup was sorta bland, and the prime rib lacked flavor from years before. Maybe it was just a bad night, we will return, but just blah this time.

Stayed at this dive over hunting weekend and now my husband and I are home suffering from bed bug bites! The rooms were not clean, the beds not comfortable, the amenites terrible (no toilet paper!)TV didn't work well. Refrigerator froze our food and drinks. No one came to get garbage, or even to clean at all. We will never return and will be seeking a refund.

Fannies never let's us down. The food and service are extraordinary! A menu that will satisfy everyone.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The owners always come and talk with the customer's and take pride in their business and it certainly shows.

Unless you are a heavy sleeper, I would not recommend the motel to anyone. Could actually hear the person in the adjoining room snoring. Every time the person in the adjoining room walked, it sounded like that person was right in our room. There were dead flies piled up in the window track. Lighting was minimal. No list or information for the TV. Very little space to put out our toiletries. Actually felt that the cost was too much for the room.||Three things going for it: the heat worked (thank goodness, it was cold out), the hot water for the shower was good, the beds were OK, though could have been more neatly made.

Pros: inexpensive. Good for a night while in transit. Walking into the building the musty, sour smell didn;t do much for our faith in the place. Looks very nice on outside. Room was big enuf, great to have refrig and micro. Refrig. froze my food tho. Bathtub had an obvious ring, tissues empty, not able to figure out how to get Dish on, and window wouldn;t lock. NOT what two females traveling alone want in a room. The supper club was packed so we didn;t try to call. Pulled the lamp with glass table in front of it :) No vending machines and had to go to the supper club for ice.

We did not get a chance to eat at the supper club so this is a review of the motel only. We first checked in and the whole building was very musty smelling. The room was dirty and the bed was very hard and squeaky. We didn’t have the option to find another place to stay so gutted it out. In the morning, we both felt sick because our allergies kicked in.
We went about our day hoping the next night would be better as we were both exhausted. Later that day, we decided that we could not sleep there again, so we booked another motel. Since it was after check out, I didn’t expect a refund. I did, however decided to call them to let them know we had checked out and we had a horrible experience. Their response was “ Ok, is that it then”. I just don’t know how they have such great reviews, but they won’t get one from me.

My sister and I stayed at Fannies a week ago. The owners Nate and his wife, along with their staff are amazing and very attentive to their customers. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner and breakfast the next morning. A true Supper Club experience! Highly recommend Fannies!

Great visit from start to finish!! We stayed at the motel and frequented the super club and lounge. The service was great and all employees were attentive and engaging. We were a group of 7 and the bartender knew all our names after the first evening. Menu had a great selection, almost too great.. hard to choose!! All the food was yummy and appropriately priced. Topping off dinner with a grasshopper never hurts either. A rain delay in our motorcycle trip gave us a chance to close out our trip with brunch.. again, fantastic.||||Thanks to all the ladies at Fannies for a great weekend! #filbert 🥜

Fantastic! The Ribeye was terrific. A great place for dinner and drinks. We had a great time at the bar after an excellent dinner. The service was great. We stayed in the motel also, rooms are clean and have everything you need. We will be back!

This place is a nice little hole in the wall. The food is good. The staff nice. I'd give 5 stars, but, I ordered my drink 20 minutes before my husband ordered his. He received his and I still had not got mine. My husband had to go back to the bar to request it. The bartender definitely needs to learn multi tasking skills so customers are not forgotten.

We stayed at the motel and had breakfast here (only served on the weekends). The motel was nice, but don't expect anything fancy. Breakfast was really good. Fresh fruit means fresh... we had oranges, grapes, cherries, and strawberries. It's 4 miles out of town, but worth the drive.
