I ordered a ham and cheese bagel on everything bagel and a mocha. The mocha was very hot, which is unusual in coffee shops. They tend to be in somewhat warm but never hot so I loved it! The sandwich was wonderful and not lacking and ingredients whatsoever I would definitely visit here again.

For me the best place to eat in New Glarus. The music,atmosphere and presentation have been well designed to enhance the dining experience. The cinnamon rolls and pancakes are great. Not too happy with this coffee venue. Although I had been in past experiences. There menus are out of order. They have multiple menus and the ingredient list is on a separate wall and hard to see than the behind the counter menu listing. Which makes is confusing and hard to order. They serve their hot drinks in very wide mugs and they get cold so quickly unless you chug your $3-$6 coffee. I like to sip and relax. They offer no refills or top offs on just normal coffee that’s overpriced. I had ordered a quiche and the greens it came with were wilted and gross and when I told them they said oh ok and took my plate with no offer to replace with anything. My small quiche and side of wilted spinach with some slimy piece cost me $11. So I’m leaving This review for overpriced coffee and food and not great service. Sorry. Not the best coffee

Finally stopped in to check this place out and can’t believe how disappointing the food was. Menu online described your typical avocado toast with an egg on top. Instead I got avocado toast with no egg and tomato/olives/feta on. Mediterranean avocado toast simply does not taste good nor was i expecting it. To add on, my girlfriend’s sausage/egg burrito had cinnamon which also has no place in a breakfast burrito. The only saving grace was the amazing coffee and neat atmosphere.

If you’re ever in the New Glarus area I highly recommend making a stop at Fat Cat - I have only been twice, that being said the staff have been incredible friendly both times - the food and drinks are made in house - including a wide variety of fresh baked goodies. Their food menu is great, and their ingredients for the most part are locally sourced. I absolutely fell in love with this cute little joint.
I being someone who can’t consume caffeine was amazed that they offer other drinks such as a fresh made ginger lemonade that is to die for.

First time here, passing through on a holiday weekend. My wife and I like to check out small coffee/sandwich shops when we are in a new town and we are glad we found Fat Cat! We were in the area for a weekend getaway and stopped here for lunch. We loved everything about this place! Service was great, atmosphere was inviting with all sorts of cozy spots to eat, and the food was amazing! The two of us each got a quiche of the day and selected different ones so we could try both. My food was good! Also a pretty cool atmosphere. Completely overpriced though. My wife and I paid $30 for small on-the-go breakfast food and a scone. Should have been around $20 total. They didn't have ranch which was weird because my wife ordered a chicken wrap for $12ish, you would think they would have ranch. Service was ehh. The lady was a little passive aggressive about the ranch thing. Overall my feelings aren't that strong about it but maybe go somewhere else.

One of the worst coffee/food purchases made. Coffee was made totally incorrect with regular milk instead of coconut milk (wife cant drink regular milk), breakfast burrito had almost no filling and was just tortilla folded over multiple times, gave us the wrong turnover (luckily my wife caught it and had them give us the correct one) and the quiche was soggy and the tiniest piece I've ever seen sold to the public. And for the low price of $42 before tip…average price of over $10 for a medium drink, turnover and breakfast burrito?? Either inflation has hit them harder than anyone else or they overcharge for everything. Either way do yourself a favor and go to the Lingonberry Llama in Belleville. Much better drinks and food! And WAY less expensive.

Been coming here for years buying meals, drinks and friends. After my purchase I asked for the wifi password, and then they told me the wifi isn’t a available anymore—though it was clearly showing up as an available network, they wouldn’t give the password. It’s obvious this is a money, greed-derived move, which is a huge turn off for me. They have lost my business. Post-2020 removing wifi is the opposite direction to take.
