We stopped here mid afternoon on a Friday for a late lunch, and the venue was really quiet, only a few people in the whole place. Very pleasant restaurant, and good service. We shared the double fish, which was plenty for 2 of us, and very good.

Over priced and underwhelming menu. Service is horrific and I can understand why. We talked to our server who said the owners are lazy and pay next to nothing. They hire the cheapest they can and always complain. They can't keep employees because of this. Great location and I have no clue how they have stayed in business this long. Avoid at all costs.

The burger was a perfect example of a marriage between a Sheboygan hardroll and Wisconsin cheddar plus Swiss is all about. The beef was juicy and not over or under cooked. Customer service was lovely and the atmosphere was so relaxing with all the natural lighting on the dining side. Clean restroom and the whole place was beautiful with natural wood in an Wisconsin style building. I'm glad my BFF took me here for dinner! I'm coming back to this place next time I'm in town. FYI. There is a full bar with pool table on the other side of the building.

I went with a small group of friends on a week night. There were only 2 other tables. It took our food more than 40 minutes to come out and my fries were cold. We had to ask for refills and the appetizers came out with the main course. After reading all of the positive reviews, I’m not sure what happened that night. The burger itself was alright.

The overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke when you enter is a bit much. The burgers are ok. I got the Gorgonzola and the black pepper on the burger was a bit much. The cheese curds were just ok. It was not super busy which was good. Bartender/server was good. I probably wouldn’t go back.

This place is a joke. I placed an order for pick up for two burgers. One with no onion and tomatoes. I get there and I see a few people outside smoking by the doorway, no bartender, and no one to greet me.

I wait around for about 10 mins, and low and behold the person I saw outside was the bartender. She clearly saw me walk in and decided to not come in and work. This is completely unprofessional.

I get home to open my food and they made my burger ONLY onion and tomato. Called them to try and get a refund and the lady said "sorry, the kitchen is closed".

Excuse me, Karen. That's your job. Clearly you don't know what having a job means or the owners don't pay you enough.

I will never step back in this place and if you care about any form of customer service, you wouldn't either.

$40 for two burgers and fries and can't even get it correctly. So much for supporting local.

I was there a while back for Burger night the daily special they change your vendor to be tasted not as good the burger is a la carte anything you order is extra I ordered a plane they try to charge me for everything out of plus cheese curds 15 minutes to straighten it out and add a player by food to show him twice there's no cheese on it and they charge my buddy for an extra beer he did not have no more fat cow for me

We've had three or four terrible experiences here and we have finally learned our Lesson. A few times the bartenders have completely ignored consumers that are not their regulars. The food is greasy and just typical bar food, Nothing special. Prices are way too high, and both the bathroom and the bar area do not get cleaned enough. The one positive is they do offer live music.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews because, as we all know, stuff happens, but this place has some pretty big issues.

First visit was eating in with a group of five and lunch took two hours!

Today, we suffered a bait and switch. The menu on the website has things priced $8-$10 less than the menu in the restaurant. Was quite a shock when we picked up our takeaway order.

Person helping us just shrugged and said the restaurant doesn’t control the website. I’m, what!? LOL

We had ordered fish. 1st thing it had the price from the menus they showed on their website , 2nd the fish prices were like 10 more than what was on the menu for the purchase and another $ 4.00 more for the cod. She told me it would be 20 minutes. I got their about 25 minute later and my son had to wait another 10. Yes they were a little busy but the bartender looked at him and passed by him. The other bartender looked at him and passed by him also. There was a couple sitting next to where my son was standing. They told him they have been sitting there for 15 min waiting for her to take a drink order and for them to order food . When we got our food it was soggy already went we got home(we only live less than 6 min away from the fat cow. It was literally soaking in grease. The onion strings and tarter sauce was so salty it was hard to eat let alone finish. I will not order take out again. Maybe sitting in the dining room would be different.. not sure I want to take that chance.

Loved this place. We had some free time in-between holiday shopping 🛒🛍️! Stopped in, got a drink and got some food. We'll be back! Service was great 👍🏼 totally dig the atmosphere here as well. Worst Dining experience ever!
Waited 30+ minutes to place an order.
Ordered Haddock for 2- after another 10 minutes, they reported they had no more Haddock at 6pm on a Friday.
Ordered perch for 2 instead- took forever! They delivered walleye for one. Claimed the other fillet was accidentally dropped. Many more apologies.
The fish and tots were not hot, was greasy and not tasty.
They charged us about $6.00 less than what we had to order as 2nd choice, but more than what we really wanted, and gave us a 1 beer on the house?

I had a Reuben sandwich and a couple really good Porters at the bar on a fairly crowded Friday. I love places like this, local band playing, lots of local color, wide variety of customers, great food good beer... Got a delivery from the Fat Cow and I was glad I did! Can't comment on the building or service as I got a delivery order but the delivery driver was pretty good! The food itself was really good to! Mozzarella sticks were nice and crispy, the mini tacos were delicious and the burger I fit was almost perfect! No complaints, I'd give the fat cow a visit if I was in the area considering how good the food was on delivery!

Went to the Fat Cow after a long hard day to be sad and distant. I was immediately instructed to join the small group of regulars and I’m sure glad I did!! I do have to say I been to Fat Cow a few times and food was always good. We went again yesterday and I was so very disappointed. One it was not very busy and we waited a long time over 40 minutes for our food.When we got our food our waitress never came around and dropped half my french fries on the floor and let them there. Bartender checked on us she was nice. I normally get their mushroom swiss burger because it is good. Not this time It was awful. Also the bun was stale and drowning in worcestershire sauce I could not eat the burger period..I did not say anything, i left the whole thing on my plate so they could see and no doubt smell it. Cheese curds were good out of all the food ordered. Not sure if they have a new cook since last time or what..it is too bad we normally like the place.

Checked out Fat Cow for a new dinner place, and we couldn't have gotten better service! The chicken strips were amazing as they are breaded in-house! Great local pub that has got a very down home type of feel to it, great place where you and the entire gang can all go to get some delicious tasting food, then maybe have a couple of drinks together + mingle and socialize, play some slotts or games, maybe listen to music on the jukebox or come on any of the nights they have real live bands playing on their stage. They have bands play gigs there to make some music to entertain your friends/family and yourself to all have some fun. (I believe they MOSTLY have either country bands, classical rock/heavy rock bands come and play shows but I could be mistaken and not correct on that comment so don’t quote me on it) I’d have to probably say that my favorite part about this place would have to be their local based-antiques style theme type of decor, I think its just super cool/awesome to look at and check out while your there. To me personally it looks very old school/rustic type of appearance but in a classical stylish unique kinda style/manner….it looks very fancy and high end also all at the same time as well….you’d have to come by and just check it out for yourself to do it any type of real justice anyways. ….One last thing to wrap up my review….something that certainly makes this pub/eatery stand out from the rest of the local pubs, bars, restaurants around here and honestly stand out more than majority of any businesses that I’ve been at before in my lifetime would be just in general be how every single hired staff member they have working for them are ALL genuine people and their ALL SUPER friendly, kind, respectful, and considerate towards their customers and any others they come into contact with….their very helpful and make you feel very welcomed and at home while your there and if you happen to have any questions or concerns, I’m sure they’ll help you out in any form they can help in.
