Food was terrible. My general tsos chicken literally tasted like it was just put in buffalo sauce. My “chicken” fried rice consisted of no chicken and was terribly bland. The crab ragoons tasted like they got them from the Walmart frozen section. For 70$ worth of food was definitely not worth it. First and last time trying Fengs.

Ordered general tso chicken and chicken egg rolls. The white rice it came with looked normal. But the chicken had a very odd colored buffalo style sauce on it. Tasted almost like Sriracha. It tasted old too. Eggs rolls were no different hate to say it. The weirdest chicken egg rolls I've ever tasted. I have a feeling they just keep reheating food all day and re fry egg rolls to order. Saw huge bowl of probably 100 egg rolls just sitting on the counter. No one in the store but me. I was hungry so I did eat half of the chicken dish. Ate one of 3 egg rolls. Couldn't finish it. Egg rolls tasted like old burned fry oil with mystery looking meat inside of them. If I didn't order this as take out and drove across Waukesha to get it I would have went back and complained for refund.

Update: every new year out family spends 150.00 on Chinese for our new years. This year I was disappointed. 1. The trays were the same, very generous, but extremely messy, the trays were leaking over each other and onto the rice packaging. We had to clean everything before we ate. That being said the lo-mein noodles are now square (yes square) and mushy (over cooked) way to thick for lo-mein the scallops were bland and flavors were not as prominent as in years past. The chicken in dragon/phoenix were way to large. I have never needed a knife to eat Chinese food.Will rethink about ordering again. Did the business, change chefs/

We were disappointed in our take out order of Sesame chicken. It was over cooked and very dry. Tasted like it was made much earlier and then placed in a warming tray. The crab Rangoon is always delicious but I’ve noticed the chicken fried rice is really bland compared to what it used to be. It’s literally just plain chicken rice and big chunks of onion. It’s so damn bland that I couldn’t keep eating it. I remember there being egg and green onions and maybe some spices in it. Now it’s just gross.oh and not a single fortune cookie came when I order a decent amount of them.

The food is always good and when they say your pick-up will be ready in 20 minutes, it is. My only warning ( Not with Feng's) is when you use Grubhub, Doordash, etc, it will take forever to get delivered, or delivered lukewarm, or if they just cancel your order with no explanation. At least you get your money back. The best bet is to skip all of them, order directly from the store, and get it yourself. It will be hot, correct, and a lot cheaper. Grubhub bumps up the price of any item at least a buck or more. Go to Feng's directly. The people are very friendly, the service is great and for me, my order has always been right.

Can't stress enough how Feng's has never ONCE let me down. Feng's has served me lunch during tough workdays, memorable dinners with friends and my girlfriend MANY times, and every time I leave feeling scores better than when I walked in. By far my favorite fried rice, and I didn't know just how much I could appreciate beef teriyaki until I started coming here. Folks are always quick and efficient, always serving with a smile. It was my first time visiting here. The place was clean inside and the staff was friendly. I ordered the lunch special chicken lo mien (with fried rice) and shrimp broccoli in garlic sauce (with fried rice) lunch special. The special included choice of soup, which I picked egg drop soup. The food was piping hot and cooked to order. The chicken lo mien was good and tasted like most chicken lo mien you get at chinese restaurants. The fried rice was okay, nothing special. The shrimp broccoli was not so good. The shrimp itself tasted good. However, the broccoli and vegetables with the dish had an old dirty taste. The egg drop soup had no flavor (bland didn't eat it). I won't be going back. I gave a 3 star because the staff was friendly and the place was clean. Would not recommend. Total cost for both dishes roughly 18 dollars and some change.

Food itself tastes good. But general service is bad. Placed an $80 order for delivery, asked for specific condiments in order- basic condiments for food ordered, got 0 condiments. No Chinese mustard, no soy sauce, etc… had to go to pick n save to buy condiments to eat food, then reheat food to eat it. Made delivery pointless. Complete waste of money and time to have delivered. First time ordering from here yesterday. Online ordering gave no indication of a timeframe nor did I get a confirmation that my order was received. Called the restaurant and was told that a manager had to call me back to even let me know if my order was received. Picked up the food and was charged $1 surcharge for some reason that couldn't be explained to me. Teriyaki Beef was overcooked and hard. Most of it wasn't edible. I've eaten at numerous Chinese restaurants all over Southeast Wisconsin, and to put it light, I am a little disappointed. When I saw this restaurant while passing by a Panda Express, I thought, "this is going to be good," but when I got their beef & broccoli, a common, safe bet at any Chinese restaurant, the beef and vegetables did not taste right. Some of the vegetables were even discolored.

Feng's is quite good. I've been coming here for years and the quality and portions haven't varied. I like the option of getting brown instead of white rice, and any special requests have always been honored. The menu is extensive without being overwhelming, so just about everyone should be able to find a pleasing choice.

I'd give 4.5 stars as the overall quality is just slightly less than some Asian restaurants. Definitely easily good enough to keep me and my family coming back.

only thing worth getting from here is the crab Rangoon. everything else was really gross! rice tasted fake like plastic pellets. wasn't made the traditional way with egg and beansprout. it just had a bunch of chopped american onion.
the sesame chicken and general tso chicken were dry and i could not chew threw it, and even dryer as leftovers. then, as leftovers, the meat was chalky tasting and the rice was even harder plastic-like that would not reheat or get soft. it was inedible. i wasted almost $40 including delivery fee and tip, to have this dog food delivered to me. next time i find a real authentic Chinese restaurant and not these little pop-up caryout joints.

Giving a 5 star because how great of a restaurant you've been the last decade for our family.

Lately, fried dishes such as the General Tsos chicken or Orange Flavored Beef have been arriving soggy while still piping hot. This dishes used to be 5/5 while dining in, but thanks to carryout/delivery, there is no way to eat this dish without it becoming pure mush in a closed container.

I order frequent takeout from this local favorite for the last five years. Consistent, good quality ingredients. Favorites are the house lo mein, general tso chicken, pork fried rice, sesame chicken, pan fried pork dumplings, vegetable and pork egg rolls, and "diet food" chicken and broccoli (no sauce) for the kids. I give it one star because their food is ok, not great, but the places was dirty and the guy that took my order was more worry about a game that he was playing in the computer than taking my order correctly, so at the end what happened was that he got my order all wrong and when I call in stead of fixing it they just said I am sorry and then hang up the phone

Great food. I got the general sauce chicken and some wonton soup as the lunch special both were excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. This was the first time I stepped foot in a restaurant in about a year and I was amazed as to how safe environment was. Definitely felt comfortable going in and ordering. Will definitely be back!

We order once every 6 to 8 weeks or so for years. Food is always great but twice. Both times was the poo poo platter so we took that off our list. A great percentage though of positive for sure. I actually think of late it has got even better. The vegetables have tasted so even more extremely fresh. All the sauces consistent and delicious. Consistency is so important. If we travel and try Chinese I always order Generals chicken. Fengs is always the best. We get the Dragon/Phoenix. Chicken and shrimp. So good. I highly recommend. Oh one other thing though and was recent... as another mentioned they forgot something TWICE. I hope they read these to amend that issue. It was pancakes for Moo Shu. Unfortunately the issue made me take that off the list too. Moo Shu is not Moo Shu with out pancakes. However, I just tried a new dish and it is my new favorite. Don't forget side sauces and pancakes Fengs :)

Food was decent. However, they forgot my sweet and sour sauce with my sweet and sour chicken. I called and they said they would give me a FREE SAUCE with my NEXT OTDER. First of all, it's not free, I already paid for it. Second, why do I need an extra sauce with my next order??

Well, I would have left an amazing review for them because my family really thought the food was delicious, and I won’t dispute that. However, they messed up on the order and claimed they would correct it but over an hour later and I’m still waiting for the corrected order. On top of that, called back to see if they had an idea on timeframe and not one person there had a clue what was going on regarding correcting this and then they hung up on me. Will absolutely never order from them again.

8/30/2020 This was the absolute WORST asian I have EVER had! I ordered Gen. Tso's chicken(says SPICY) should have said Gen. Tso's chicken JERKY! Chicken dried out like it was 4 days old,and the rice tasted MUSTY like it also sat on the counter for days! My wife had Cashew chicken-----SAME THING--------DISGUSTING! Pork egg rolls best part of whole order and there was hardly any PORK in them! I will NEVER eat here again! I'd rather eat out of the dumpster behind McDonalds!

I have been going here for years with my family and friends throughout growing up and can definitely say this is a fantastic family ran restaurant. They always offer great hospitality and quick service always even on larger orders, only ordered for delivery once but have never had an issue once in over eight years. These are some of the best people in town.

I ordered my food at 5 pm online. They said it would be 45-65 minutes to be delivered. Well, it comes to be 6:30 pm and I still didn't get my food. So I called and they didn't know what was going on even after I gave them my order number. So they said they would take my order again and it would be ready in 20 minutes. They then asked how I would pay for it. I already paid for the first order and told them I'm not paying again. They said okay and hung up the phone. When I got there, they told me I had to pay. I showed them my online receipt and they STILL said I had to pay again.
Long story short, do NOT order online from this place.

We stopped at Feng's Kitchen on a Saturday. There was only one other couple dining in for lunch, so we decided to stay and eat at the restaurant. I ordered mixed vegetables with tofu, my husband ordered sweet and sour chicken. My daughter ordered lo mein. We found the portions to be excellent and enjoyed our food. We were treated two excellent service, possibly from the owner. We found the restaurant to be clean and enjoyed our visit. We will be back!

Feng's is the best. Anytime we're in Waukesha, we have to get Feng's. They have the freshest, crispiest General Tso's. I also got the beef and broccoli. Super yummy. And of course crab rangoon with chunks of fresh garlic and crab (krab?). Really delicious. When we eat in, the service is always good. This place is a fave.

We have eaten from Feng's Kitchen at least 10 times. Every time the food has been delicious and our order was spot on with no mistakes. I find their prices very reasonable and the serving sizes to be more than enough. I will continue to eat here and encourage others to do the same. I have had no bad experiences with the staff or service so ignore 1 star reviews from others. 5/5
