We’re located just off the interurban bike trail. As always, Fiddleheads is bicycle, and family friendly. My family and I a party of 7 walked in around 6:30 pm to grab some hot drinks and bagels. Everything went smooth until my husband poured sugar into his cup, however the sugar jar cover was loose and all sugar went inside his cup splashing him with hot coffee and also lots of sugar fell on the area mat. The girl behind the desk who took our order was constantly laughing as she found the scene hilarious. We got another replacement and sat inside next to the register area. The ight in front of our faces they kept laughing while looking at us and talking about us. Mind you, this was 3 steps away from us. I walked up to one of them and asked her what was so funny! I asked if she found it he situation funny as my husband burned his hand with their sugar jar being opened and she said “YES, it was funny!” And “We don’t know how to clean the sugar off the mat because we don’t have a vacuum!” This was so upsetting to me. I would never return. That was pure ignorance, rude and quite frankly she was very lucky I was there with my senior parents otherwise she would’ve been very disrespected! 10/7/25

Ordered a cold brew here today and the girl at the register charged me 85 cents extra just to swap out one of the syrups for sugar free. Why? One drink was over 8 dollars. This is insane. Never coming back.

Update: 10/18/24
It's bittersweet to be here again after a few months because it's missing a beautiful woman who was next to me the last time I was here. The coffee isn't quite the same without her, but the atmosphere and the people are. The cup is pretty cool.
But, it hurts to heal.
Coffee for one is just not the same experience as coffee for two. The lack of conversation, the missing of stealing a sip of her drink, and now walking around solo is sobering to say the least. I love all the coffee shops that I've gone to over the years, but it's never the same alone.
Fiddleheads, thank you for your kindness today.

I wish every coffee shop I've been to greeted their customers like this place! Two young ladies working welcomed us and treated us well right from the moment we walked in. The coffee tasted great, and we sat outside, peacefully. Loved the atmosphere and thank you for great customer service! Will definitely be back if we find ourselves in the area again!

(August 2024) The food and service were great, but the staff ripped me off afterwards. I signed the credit card receipt for $16.67 and tipped cash. When I received my credit card statement at the end of the month, my card was charged $20.62. Shame on the employee who did this. I'm never coming back.
EDIT: Upon reading the owner’s response, I too am disappointed to report this episode. I think the owner's “belief of an issue with my CC” is wrong – of the 100+ transactions on my credit card statement that month, including 18 in the Cedarburg area, only two didn’t match the receipt (here and Mequon Pizza). And I would never seek a refund or credit or a handout or a gift certificate.
I was hoping the owner would explain why the amount charged to my credit card was higher than the amount on my receipt, but no sufficient explanation was given in the response.

Smoothies are garbage. I figured at such a well established business if your charging almost $7 for a smoothie that it would be fresh fruit. Instead I got some nasty artificial thick syrup poured over a cup of ice and blended. Right in the trash, really disappointed.

Fiddleheads owners have really let their once wonderful Cedarburg location really go down the tubes. They don't cover their bakery items, freely allowing flies to land all over the food. Yuck! On top of that their prices have gone sky high. I guess you're paying for the added "ingredients."

Super cute and spacious coffeehouse. I loved being able to sit outdoors. The scenery was most lovely and inviting. Flowers and a positive vibe. Friendly staff for the most part. My vanilla iced latte was perfection, but I wasn't most keen on the turkey sandwich. My kids enjoyed their meals and I would come back to try a different meal. The bathroom was clean as was the restaurant. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside. Cedarburg is a super cute community with friendly people. I recommend going here and recommend a vanilla iced latte ~ my favorite coffee!

My friend and I shared a turkey sandwich. She said I must of had all the sauce as hers was very bland. I said I didn't have much either. $13 for a small not very flavorful sandwich with a small bag of chips. We were expecting much better. We were told it would be awhile before they could take our order as they had to make some coffee orders. It wasn't that busy.

I thought the person behind the counter seemed unfriendly, and annoyed at my being there. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte and a cookie, it came to just over $10.00. The latte was only ok, and then I was given the the option to leave a tip, I passed on that, and I'm usually a generous tipper. I will be getting my coffee elsewhere, when I visit Cedarburg again.

After a nice bike ride on the interurban trail we headed to fiddleheads for a seasonal pumpkin spice latte. Paying $6.40 for a 12 oz latte was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent ..this was the worst so called latte I have ever had I don't think there was any espresso in there.. I watched the girl make it.. and all I saw was steamed foamed milk that got poured into our 2 cups... it had no flavor.. I. Didnt see a ahot being pulled.I went back in and said that it had no taste she put another shot of some weak flavored syrup... Still no taste. I would strongly select the Java house or Colectivoor Starbucks if you want a really good flavored pumpkin spice latte don't waste your money on this. Worst ever.. And this is coming from a former barista.

Really cool building and a decent amount of seating inside and out. Came for a quick bite to eat and a coffee. Got a caramel cold brew, very good!
Couple downsides, I thought the food was overpriced and was disappointed in my sandwich because it doesn't say on the menu that it's just cold deli meat.
Overall, nice place to grab a quick bite and a coffee.

Of the 3 coffee places in downtown cedarburg, this one is the best for a variety of comfortable seating. Not as cramped as Java House, not as exposed as the Roastery. But all 3 have good coffee

First of all this is one of the nicest coffee shops in the area. Very impressed with the taste and consistency of the cafe. Great job to all that work there. I just have to say. Most of the negative reviews for this place make no sense. 1 Dogs are not allowed, 2 this isn’t Starbucks they can’t make your frappe or give you a pup cup Karen and 3 this isn’t a deli. All I wish is that the workers got more appreciation for what they do! Keep up the great work! Will be coming back for more!

I'm not sure what it is, but the staff at Fiddleheads are always so unfriendly. This one is the worst. No hello when we came in. The two women could see that we had questions, but totally ignored us. Finally, I asked one of the women a question. She made me feel bad for bothering her.
The Matcha Latte was sickly and overly sweet. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the baristas. Maybe more training is needed on customer service or basic civility.
