Food was fantastic! Staff was super friendly. I loved watching the food made and plated in front of us. Could really see the passion they have for their jobs.

A nice cozy place with friendly service and good food. We had the trout dinner which was fantastic and also the duck. The duck was really good, but was more raw towards the center. The dessert was also a good end to dinner. A creme brule. The whole experience was awesome. A bit pricey, but worth a good date night out.

We had an excellent experience here for dinner. The service was great and the ambiance was upscale despite the building being in a strip mall. Everyone loved the wagyu burger and pizzas and the baklava cheesecake bites were incredible! They mentioned the menu had just dropped and it did not disappoint. Although it's a bit of a drive for us, we'd come back again knowing there might be new things to try next time we come.

Great brunch today! Biscuits and gravy as a starter was really tasty. Will have go back to try the biscuit and chicken thighs. The green tomato eggs Benedict with chili crab meat was great as was the tenderloin hash. The mocha pot desert was a great finish to an amazing meal.

Amazing experience! My husband and I went for our 5 year anniversary for the first time tonight and were pleasantly surprised at the experience. The atmosphere with the open kitchen is very welcoming and unique. We were seated and the server brought waters right away, followed by the drinks we ordered. We both ordered pizzas, which came out quickly and were delicious. Halfway through the meal we noticed my husband’s looked to be missing chicken, but it tasted perfect anyways. We asked the server when she came back to refill waters about it, entirely out of curiosity, and she immediately apologized and said it was on the house or they could remake another to go. My husband said we’d take one to go for lunch tomorrow. When the bill came, she didn’t charge us for either pizza nor the dessert - just the three drinks and my pizza. We tried to have her add the pizza on the bill as we didn’t bring it up as an issue, but she refused. Leah H, thank you!!!

We will absolutely be back to Field & Fire and will incorporate it into regular restaurant rotation. Amazing food and drinks, service, and atmosphere.

Went with friends on a recommendation for a new place. Searched the menu and didn't find anything that appealed to me; all seemed to have unfamiliar items or way of cooking. Did order but was not great. Took tastes of the other diners selection and none were better. Guess I like traditional food prepared traditionally. I can report than none of us would choose that place again, We are all "old foggies"

Amazing experience! That’s not hyperbole! Jordan, the owner, in on a Thursday night, managing, cooking, mixing the most ASTOUNDING drinks…just an all-around wiz…comes up to my wife and me as we’re ordering drinks. I get a great pinot and she gets her regular, an old fashion. This man asks why I’m drinking wine. He asks about the old fashion. When I explain that I’m just not really into them, he proceeds to tell me I’m in for a treat. He makes me HIS old fashion. I’m not lying. I don’t enjoy these drinks which makes me an enemy to this state. My God! This one though? Perfect. I had two more before I left! (My wife drove home)

Then the food! My wife had a flatbread and said it was the best she’s had. (I did not get a picture, sorry). I had the special: a NY strip ordained with tomatoes, mini potatoes, and a chimichurri that was to die for. It actually went well with the pinot (Iris).

The meal was not cheap, but if you’d ask me what I’d expect to pay for that meal, that ambiance…in Milwaukee? In Chicago? Much more. In Greenville…this was appropriate.

I am loathe to race of this place because I know now that I’ll need reservations. We got lucky that there were two seats at the bar, but I will plan my next outing. I felt bad having not expected to find fine dining and only wore a hoodie.

First time here. What a wonderful experience. Bartender was very engaged. Some of the best prepared drinks around. Ordered the Sophia pizza. Awesome. Hints of lemon, garlic, and arugula. Yummmmmm! Hubby had some steak special that he said was exceptional. Owner served us a free drink and was very conversational and friendly. This will definitely be a place that we will frequent often.

I have eaten in restaurants by chefs such as Ettoifer, Bocusse, and Todd English. I would rate this as one of the best restaurants I've ever been. The fact that the kitchen was of the average age of 16, working so effortlessly and creating truly wonderful food and drink pairings impressed my friend and myself greatly. You will not be disappointed. Sit at the bar and watch these young poeple create great food.

Not a fan of this place but everyone has their tastes and opinions. I understand that there aren't many "fine dining" places in Greenville but it doesn't mean the food prices need to be as high as they are, especially for the quality of some of the food. Plus with the restaurant being so small, it doesn't feel very intimate inside as you often have several other tables and people essentially sitting on top of you. Again, many people love this place but I just don't get it. I think Field and Fire is pretty mid

Absolutely blown away by Field and Fire Kitchen! I was invited by a good friend and didn't expect to be this impressed. Let me tell you – the iron steak was phenomenal. That plate was more than just food; it was an experience. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The pizza was on another level, too. You know that perfect pepperoni that cups up? It reminded me of those little poppers at the arcade, but way better and loaded with amazing, melty cheeses and just the right balance.

And the oysters? Smooth and fresh, not overly complicated – just pure, briny goodness. I don’t always get excited over oysters, but these were worth every bite. Then there was the udon soup, which had this unique, comforting flavor that just stood out. It's a bowl you don't want to miss.

Special shoutout to Ryan in the kitchen – this guy knows his craft. It’s rare to see someone so clearly in their element, and he absolutely nails it with each dish. And lastly, the Brussels sprouts...wow. Imagine a caramelized, almost pretzel-like glaze with a sprinkle of goat cheese. It was a perfect blend of savory and sweet, like nothing I’ve tasted before. If you're looking for a meal that’s memorable, genuine, and packed with passion, Field and Fire Kitchen is it. Don’t miss out!

I've been here twice and it's been delicious both times and I'm defintiely making a point to come back every time I'm here at the home office. Its a small open kitchen wnviroment and as a business traveler food lover I enjoy being able to watch the well oiled machine that is the chefs at work. I sit at the bar as a party of one which is always packed and so are all the tables. Reccomend going earlier. First time I got the lamb and I love lamb, and this one was delicious, but the mushrooms were just spectacular--seriously chefs kiss fr! I also got the Hugo spritz which is a drink that I now crave regularly. To end it I had to get dessert because the meal was so good, I've never liked creme brulee but I got it on reccomendation and holy mother of God was is other worldly. I don't think I can ever try anything else it's so good. The sond time I got the scallop appetizer and the Joe pizza. The scallops are big and juicy and cooked perfectly, just plain good. The pizza had a sort of waygu bolognese for the sauce and jalapeño, and the bolognese was so so so flavorful and unctous. The crust was light and had a nice chew at the edges, my only criticism was a little sogginess under the bolognese, but that sauce just yummmm. Of course I had the Hugo spritz and creme brulee was just as good as I remembered. Will always ve back!

🔥10 stars Amigos. Wow this place is off the charts. First of all thank you so much Courtney” - our incredible server. You were instrumental in not only seating us quickly and taking our orders, but suggesting many Yummies off the menu. Fantastic customer service!

💥We stopped in this Sunday for brunch, and it was simply sensational! Kudos to the owner for running such an incredible business, and to the chef and everyone in the kitchen for producing quality and delicious eats! (Preach!)

🔥First of all, let me say that the ambience in this place is perfect. I really love the size of this restaurant because it’s not huge like a banquet hall but it’s not tiny like a diner. It’s actually a perfect size. Cosy and intimate!

☄️The restaurant itself was very clean and decorated beautifully with a modern touch. We loved the music they had playing in the background. It was fun, upbeat, and inspiring.

⚡️My friend ordered the hash since she said it’s her official favorite on the menu and since this was my first time here I opted for Courtney‘s suggestion of the biscuits with gravy. Delish!! And Yum Alert!🚨

This is a better dinning option for our area. The food is almost always unique and rather good.

Some of the menu items are a bit odd, such as the way they do their cheese plate.

My go to dish is the Berkshire.

The younger flat brim hat kid is a really good cook. When he's on the stove, dishes are cooked to perfection.

Atmosphere is fun, but the place is rather small. During peak hours you may have to wait.

The seating is odd. At the bar, it's a less comfortable sitting because your knees will be smashed into the bar when trying to get close (says a person with short legs).

All that said, this is a place to try. It's good.

First off I will say the food here was very good. The carrpaccio was phenomenal and wood fire pizza is delicious as well. The service was pretty average, it was a busy night. My biggest complaint was the atmosphere. The music was loud which made everyone in the place have to talk over it. It was very hard to have a conversation.

As a resident of Greenville I've been happily enjoying Field & Fire for as long as they've been open. I started tonight with a stiff and tasty espresso martini. Then food...I have been having a standing, loyal love affair with the tenderloin. I don't know how you feel about food, but tonight, for the first time, I asked for it to be cooked between rare and medium rare. Rare plus is what Leah, our waitress called it. Folks, I nearly cried onto my plate it was SO dang good. Tenderness doesn't begin to describe that steak. I can't even. The asparagus and potatoes with the yummy sauce completed the dish. Followed by the waffle dessert. Simple but tasty, with blueberry compote and Whipped cream. Just go there. Staff, atmosphere, food. A+

We had dinner here for the first time on New Year's Eve. It was a wine pairing dinner. My favorite course was the waygu ribeye. They brought it out to show the crazy marbling before cooking it. It was tender and cooked perfectly. The scallops and shrimp dishes were also delicious. The other 2 courses were not so good. All of the wines they served were fantastic. The service was great. Overall it was a good experience. BTW that is a bone marrow butter on the tenderloin. Super delicious.

A hidden gem in the Valley! 💎

After moving to the Valley from Minneapolis a few years ago, my husband and I long for and enjoy eateries that elevate the food scene here.

Here’s a few things you’ll find consistently at Field & Fire:
- A beautiful, comfortable dining room with an open kitchen
- Knowledgeable, passionate servers
- A rotating menu featuring local ingredients
- Smaller plates across the menu you can order lots of to share

We usually come for SUNDAY BRUNCH and it’s one of our go-to spots after church. However, we finally got the chance to come for dinner. It was excellent as usual!

This evening we enjoyed the Burrata, Spaghetti, Lamb, Sue Pizza, and Tart.

Burrata: perfection! The Romesco sauce on the plate was a refreshing diversion from the usual pairing to tomatoes, and the deep fried preparation turned it into an elevated mozzarella stick from your childhood.

Spaghetti: Good flavor, but it was difficult to eat. The sauce was very loose, so the peas and bacon had nothing to stick to kept rolling or falling off the fork from the al dente pasta.

Lamb: Excellent prepared, but at $48, the portion was extremely small. We think most things are respectably priced here, but they missed it on this one. 2 pieces of asparagus, a splash of sauce, and *maybe* 5 oz of meat once you cut it away from the bone.

Sue Pizza: Spicy, sweet, and their crust is some of the best in the Valley!

Tart: We were not expecting a deconstructed Mango Tart, but we weren’t disappointed! The curd was tart and creamy with fresh mango flavor, the whipped cream was stiff enough and not too sweet, the sprinkle of crust kept things light, and the mint syrup around the plate was so unique! Not many places in the Valley have amazing plates desserts that I think are worth it, but this is one of them! Yum!

First time here and the food was great! We really enjoyed it. The server forgot to put in our starter but she owned the mistake when we asked as the entrees arrived. We will go back.

Food was amazing, service was great, and we left happy. The only thing that wasn't 100% great was the portions. We got the steak with potatoes. It was so yummy, the seasonings were perfect and everything was cooked just right. The servings were small so I wished there was more. Ended up having to eat some food at home to top it off. They did give me a new drink though when my date spilt mine all over my lap, which was nice of them. Overall a good experience, just wished I got more food for the price!

I think this place definitely took the number one spot for a fine dining open kitchen experience! Steak was by far the best I’ve had in the surrounding area. First place for us WAS Chef Fusion in Green Bay, then Draft Gastro Pub.

Service was amazing. The lady that greeted us at the door wasn’t very kind, not rude just not the greeting you would expect at a place like this. Sort of greeting you’d maybe get at Applebees is the best way I can put it. Just sat us and walked away. Everyone else though was very energetic, very kind, and over the top nice!

For the first time ever we actually sat at the bar and ate, not the food you’d typically eat at a bar, but we did because then you got to watch them make everything. We enjoy watching cooking shows, so that’s kinda what this was! Was a very cool, very unique experience. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to go back!! Have yet to try their pizza. Nice decor. Friendly staff. Fun to see the open kitchen. The food was unimpressive. It all sounds good when reading the menu. The prices make you think that you're in for something great. But the food doesn't reach the bar. It's not that the food was bad, it's nothing special. It's easy to find many other places in the valley with food just as good - or, a lot better and more exciting - and spend a lot less. Their Bloody Mary is a good example: $13 at Field & Fire for a basic drink with a piece of cheesey bread garnish. The Weathervane has one for half the price and comes with many more garnishes. Their bourbon menu is mostly rail/bottom shelf stuff; Kessler's, anyone? Field & Fire isn't bad, it's just not great. It's difficult to tell if they want to be an upscale place or a casual one. The menu says "fancy" but the food says "average", albeit in a creative way.

This place is awesome! The food was great and so was the service! Great atmosphere, great selection of beers and cocktails. The Bloody Mary was good and came with a cheese pita bread which was delicious! I had the Wagyu burger which was ok and the waffles were a huge hit that had pork belly and collard greens on top!

The food was delicious, the menu was interesting. Everything was very good it was a little loud for me. It’s a small space and the music didn’t fit the mood for me at all. Aside from that wonderful experience.

Phenomenal food. Some of the best food we’ve had in the valley. Duck and old fashions were amazing. Great staff and atmosphere. Quick service (we came around 4pm). Sit at the bar, you can watch them cook - it’s a show. Only downfall is that the menu is a bit hard to understand.

I get that Greenville is lacking in culinary establishments…. But this was a major letdown. Menu is sparse to say the least. Wondered why so many around us were ordering flatbreads until the bill came. $48 for tenderloin (listed as market price on the menu). It wasn’t even tenderloin. For that price I’d expect a barrel cut center piece. This was tenderloin tips. Get the bill and the cheery on top is a 4% credit card fee. Won’t be back…..

Fine dining in a gastropub setting. Innovative, well thought out menu.
I was also fond of the temperate warm lighting and a soundscape perfect for dinner. Music wasn't so loud you couldn't easily hold a conversation and was neutral/upbeat in tone. (These matter to me)
Seats were plush and sturdy, bistro style sofa runs alongside the wall with tables set in front of it.
Very pleasing all over.

Did Sunday brunch and it was phenomenal. Our server was amazing. It's a very small location, if you don't want to be wait listed get there at least 10min before it opens and stand in line in front of the door. I spent about $33/person, but that was with 3appetizers and drinks for half of our party included.

Waited an hour with a group of seven for brunch. Hostess told us 6 seats were available at the bar, but that the seventh person couldn’t order food. Obviously, we weren’t interested and communicated that. Meanwhile, they seated a large group over the top of ours, and told us we would have to wait another hour to 1.5 hour with no apology. We left and can’t speak to the food quality, but it was a disappointing experience.

My first thought about our experience is...WHAT A TEAM!

From the hostess, to the bar tenders, to the crew in the kitchen, to Jordan manning the socializing and getting the food to the proper server, it was incredible.

Drinks were amazing, food was next level, and it all came in a timely manner. It's small so you can almost guarantee a wait...But it's a great time to enjoy a craft cocktail or a high quality beer.

If you're thinking about giving this place a try, stop thinking about it...And just do it :-)

Pretty disappointed. We ordered an appetizer that we never received. I assume the server forgot, as she also forgot my husbands drink for about 15 minutes. We ordered the duck and the waygu burger. The duck came out very rare, it was raw in the middle. I LOVE duck breast, it is meant to be served medium rare and serving it rare made it extremely chewy so I did not eat about half. The burger was ordered medium well and came out with a blood soaked bun. Overall, we were disappointed in the experience. I would not come back. Too bad, we were excited to try it. The drinks were very good.
