OMG! What a great place! It's small but so cozy!

We were out of town looking for a local breakfast place and found this gem. They have a huge selection of skillets & omelets which they're huge! The medium over easy eggs & waffles were made to perfection and even though they were in a skillet, the hash browns were still crunchy. The home made salsa was excellent. Yum!

The owner was friendly and took time to explain the menu items and the wait staff made sure our coffee was never empty. What a wonderful local place to eat! Thank you Filis for a GREAT experience!

Small Cafe. Nice breakfast menu. Reasonably priced. Very attentive and personable staff. Food was prepared in timely matter as diner doesn't hold many customers. Cafe is opened until 3pm and does offer lunch/dinner options. My Denver omelette was tasty and home fries were browned nicely on top. Loved the homemade pancakes that comes with the entree. My dining companion had Biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausages. Would come back for breakfast again.

The place is very small with the ambiance of diners everywhere - paper napkin wrapped around a set of basic flatware, a waitress slapping down menus and offering coffee, all-day breakfast options, choice of Pancake or toast.
The friend who suggested Fili's recommended the enchilada omelet. It was fantastic, loaded with chorizo and cheese and flavor. American fries were perfectly browned and crisped. Neither my potatoes or the fries on my friend's plate were oversalted, as diner food can sometimes be.
The menu was a nice blend of basic American diner fare and Mexican influenced favorites.
I'll definitely be returning to the friendly little diner with the pretty green awning and the excellent food.

The service was absolutely fantastic. The friendliest servers you could ask for. The food was absolutely delicious. Some really creative items on the menu. Great variety. Check out the menu. Photos that have been added. Definitely worthwhile stopping in prices are very reasonable. And they have a fantastic fish fry also. I found a great sandwich in the three meat sandwich… delicious Chicken breast on top of a burger with bacon added. Very filling and absolutely delicious. be sure to try this sandwich.

I’ve been visiting this small restaurant for over ten years since their first location in Cudahy. They have moved down the road from previous spot. I always ordered lunch and was pleased with the taste and the amount of food I got for the price. The friendly service always kept us going back. We have now visited for Breakfast and are hooked. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I have made this my absolute favorite breakfast spot. Highly recommend it.

I don't know who is writing the reviews for this place but me and my friend decided to get a bite after school and noticed this place. The inside is very cozy and calm with nice and helpful servers. The food was fast and presented well, but the food as a whole was all together awful my friends burger had fallen apart in his hands with a burnt bun. With shoddy McDonald's fries and watered down ranch. And I got a chimichanga, the Spanish rice was practically tasteless, with a pinch of tomato and lettuce all seemingly from the Walmart produce section. And the chimichanga after I started eating and opened it fell apart. Also with some actually sour, sour cream. Wouldn't recommend whatsoever.

I went here to try something new with my friend and we were so disappointed my burger bun was burnt to hell and my Bacon was the precooked stuff you get at sam's club and also burnt my ranch tasted like dog water and my fries were one bland and two tasted like McDonald's but worse somehow and for extra bacon it's an extra 5$ Denny's is cheaper and also tastes better.

A bad review from M.P. is totally out of control . By the looks of her photos she had no problem eating all the food . Maybe she should review a poorly delivered D dash order , or the microwave she probably used to reheat and melt the cheese . Maybe next time she can get off her you know what and go to Filis to meet the nice people whose business she is criticizing . Anyone with a whopping one , food review ( while hiding behind her phone ) under her belt needs to step up her game and show up in person , order and inspect her food before finding fault for something that may have been a mistake on the part of a third party . Go ahead and stop by in person and let them face their accuser in person . And then prepare to edit your damaging first ever review . It's a nice little spot for breakfast or any other meal . TERRIBLE.....I don't know who's writing there reviews, but I cannot wrap my head around an almost 5 star restaurant and the food we received.
Ordered a fish fry asked for fries and got a baked potato, and received less than 1/4 cup coleslaw. You were able to get a soup or salad got neither, along with no desert. Another person ordered there nachos and they were poorly thrown together and the cheese was melted onto the Styrofoam in numerous places. Tasteless slop. And when I called they wanted to argue with me that I didn't order correctly on doordash. No everything was specified in the details, you messed up.

Mind you there is a small chunk taken out of the fish, but that's what you got for your fish fry. Also pictures of how the cheese was melted to the Styrofoam. Literally tasteless slop. If I could give no stars I would.

My sister and I were looking for a place to have lunch after taking a walk by Sheridan Park. We were driving on Packard Ave and saw this cute little Cafe, the menu looked good online. So we went to check it out with our little ones. We ate outside on the back patio, our waitress who I'm assuming is also the cook Maria was very sweet and made sure we were happy. The food was very good too, my sister and I had the Caesar wrap with their chicken dumpling soup and fruit. My daughter had the chicken strips with fries. She thought they were delicious. I tried them myself and l think they are pretty good as well. Cute simple place and with good food, we'll be going there again for lunch date very soon. 😁👍🏻

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍OH EM GEE!!! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! For 16$ I got two taco dinners. Each dinner comes with 3 steak tacos, rice, beans, salad, & cheese cake!!! Like where can you get that much take out food for so cheap!!!& When I tell you the rice & beans is great it's freaking great. All other places I've been too, their rice & beans were not homemade. Filis Cafe, is homemade all the way. Even their tortillas are homemade. I love this place. I wish I could give them 1,000 stars. Can you tell I love this place? Wow! Filis Cafe is one of the few Cafe's that I will travel long distance just to eat, relax and drink a cup of coffee out in there back patio.
We had French toast, Denver omelet, pancakes, and an egg burger. Pics are included.
All the food was really good. I don't give out 5 stars very often, but Filis Cafe deserves it.
If you are in Milwaukee, go a little out of your way to visit Filis Cafe, you won't regret it.

Delicious and Affordable; For less than $25, I was able to have my fill of coffee, get breakfast for my fiancee and myself, and still have enough for leftover lunches for both of us, with a tip for the kind woman that took care of us. I was extremely satisfied with the amount of food, the quality of the food, and the overall options available here. It's directly in between work and home, so I will definitely be stopping here more often!
