This is a tiny greasy diner in the downtown area. Only one server for 10 tables. Another worker helped to carry food to tables and bus. This review takes into consideration the understaffing and wait time. Even with understaffing, server did try to check on us a couple of times.

I didn’t care to drink my water from cups that looked older than I am. Server didn’t want to make changes or substitutions to menu items. Food was just ok, unseasoned and greasy. Pancakes were huge. Requested eggs cooked over medium, they came out very runny.

Atmosphere got 1 star. I’d give it -10 stars if I could. The political paraphernalia made us feel very uncomfortable and especially glad we didn’t have other family members with who would feel vulnerable in this space. We don’t live in the area, but we pass through often. We will not be visiting this place again due to the unfriendly environment. Photos attached so you know what you are getting into. Yuck.

Funny thing is I was telling the server while waiting for my Belgium waffle how much I hated pancake.

Disappointed. They raised there prices but the portion size on the bake cod was shocking. It was like a 3"x 1-1/2" narrow piece they cut in half and call it 2 pc cod. Really! It seriously was 2 pcs that were 1-1/2"×1-1/2" ea! If you get deep fried you get 2 nice sized pieces. Same price. Won't be going back. Oh and extra $ for sour cream on baked potato. No longer my favorite go to place.

I have ordered a Hobo skillet made into an omelet SEVERAL times. In fact, every time I have ever eaten here I have ordered this. My husband just went into town and placed a to-go order- my usual Hobo skillet made into an omelet, but this time the waitress argued with him and told him they don't have that on their menu. She was extremely rude and refused to have it made into an omelet. He asked to sit down and waited for our food, was never offered coffee or water, and felt unwelcome. The younger waitress dropped the bag of food in front of him, never said a word. This review is about service, not food. The food is always amazing. The service, lately, especially today, very unacceptable. We love this restaurant, but we'll go elsewhere from now on.

I am then met with a very condescending hElLo!!!!

AMAZING! I am from out of town and stayed at a hotel and found Fink's Cafe, and thank goodness I did. The breakfast was fast AND delicious! We took it to-go and brought back to hotel. It's the small things, like the fork/spoon/knife set they gave us with our to-go order was nice and sturdy for cutting the large and amazing chocolate chip pancakes. Staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our order. If the lunch is anywhere near the quality, we are going there for lunch! Yummy!

I have stopped in 3 times over the past two years. ( I live about 300 miles away)Great small town restaurant. You always get more than you can eat, which is good for leftovers the next day. Everything we have ordered has also been delicious. The items on the menu give you enough variety to deliberate on what to order. Just pick one and get the other on your next visit. You will want to return after your first visit. Wish we lived closer. FYI - the pancakes are enormous and very tasty.

Went to this place twice on one trip it was so good. Had breakfast on the way past and it was packed, our food came very quickly even though all 10 tables were full. I got the Irishman's skillet which was basically a Ruben in omlet form. Another at the table got the "2 by 2 by 2" and most of the plate was covered by massive pancakes nearly an inch thick each.

Our second visit was rather late for lunch a few days later. I had the Honey Mustard Chicken Melt. It was delicious, and the fries were perfect, a thinner cut of steak fries.
