We had a 50 person wedding dinner here in 2025. Working with the staff to coordinate the event was smooth and professional. As the event planner I had hoped to arrive as or before most guests but was unable to do so. I was very pleased to arrive and see that all the guests were seated, had a drink of their choice and appetizers on the way to their tables. The food was absolutely delicious as expected and we had a great evening. The groom and bride were very pleased.
Many of the guests commented on how polite and helpful their server was.
Thank you Fire2Fork staff and chef for a wonderful end to our day.

Really wanted to not post this but every time I think about how much I paid to be treated so poorly I cringe a little. We went Saturday night, reservation for 7:30, we were sat right away. The waitress was relatively prompt with her introduction and water for everyone and then it all went bad. We ordered the featured 'O' Old Fashioned when the drink order was finally taken and it took a very long time to get those drinks. My wife and I both noticed that there was no cherry in the drink and asked about it. We were told, "oh yea, we're out of cherries". We ultimately ordered our food around 8:30. about 9:15 I was able to wave the waitress down since the place was starting to empty out and ask if we were going to get food? She said, "yea, there was a problem in the kitchen". I followed up with so, are we going to be able to eat? About 9:30 we received our food and it was very good. Unfortunately she remained completely unapologetic. As a result, I find myself posting this. I didn't want to not tip so I tipped 10% and find myself regretting that now.

My boyfriend made reservations for us to have dinner at Fire2Fork, and I’m so glad he did—I definitely recommend making a reservation.

He had been a few times for work and always raved about it, so I was really excited to finally experience it for myself. We were seated at the cutest little two-person table, and I honestly couldn’t stop saying how much I loved it—it was such a perfect touch for date night.

The crab cakes were delicious, and we both ordered burgers (the F2F and the Onion—both pictured) and they did not disappoint. I also had a non-alcoholic cocktail that was amazing—so flavorful and refreshing.

Can’t wait to come back for another date night! Fire2Fork is definitely a new favorite.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area! Their braised short rib pasta is absolutely unreal I find myself ordering it every time. Pasta is homemade and melts in your mouth! You have to get the creme brûlée for dessert!

Visited this place for the first time for a birthday celebration. We had a large group and our server, Victoria, was delightful. For starters we had were calamari, “bread”, and goat cheese. They were instantly devoured so we ordered another round. Pizza was unique and tasty. The trout entree was absolutely huge. Chef managed to take an ordinary chicken sandwich to another level. It was amazing. It was a cozy, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Can’t wait to go there again and eat more duck fat fries!

Update 10/9/24: Attended the Schnupper Club dinner last night. Service, food, atmosphere was amazing. Small plates style presentation, but we all left stuffed. Highly recommend, we will do it again.

Update 3/26/25:
We attended the 8 course Mexican dinner. Started off strong with an absolutely delicious trio of guacamole. I expected the “frutas” to be sweet but it was crunchy and savory. We ate all of it which was a mistake as we had 7 more courses to go. Favorites were the Sopa, Aquachile and the crispy pork butt tacos. But everything was delicious.
As stuffed as we were we still made room for the churro with chocolate sauce.
Bottomless margaritas came in four flavors. All were outstanding. Service was impeccable. Thanks again for a fun event.

Update 3/30/25: 13 of our family did brunch. Everything was amazing!
Victoria kept up with our constant requests for more and more delicious plates and beverages. Of note were the cheese curds, Plancha burger, corned beef hash and the short ribs, but everything we had was delicious.
Included in prix fixe were bottomless mimosas, bloody Mary’s, Spotted Cow, which were free flowing.
Can’t wait to come back.

My family and I visit LG at least once if not twice a year. We have many favorite places, F2F happens to be one of them. However, this time the experience wasn’t as great as we were used to. I’ll start off with the good:
1) The drinks…my wife started out with a blackberry ol fashioned and I had the Gold Trans Am, both were great.
2) The apps…wife wanted the spinach artichoke fondue but I wanted her to try the cheese curds so, we got both because it was her first time visiting F2F. The homemade ranch, top tier and there’s only one other place I know of that can compete which is where I live. All in all, both apps were awesome!
3) The lady at the door…she was warm and welcoming. She actually checked in on us while we were waiting and I saw her walking and working a great deal throughout the night.

Now, for the not so good:
1) The polenta…I believe it may have sat under the heat lamp while awaiting my pork chop to cook. I attempted to overlook it, however, I could not get past the drywall mud texture and temperature. I called the server over when I could catch him because it was a very busy Saturday night as per usual and his response when I informed him of the issue leads me to number 2.
2) The service…once I informed my server of the issue with my polenta, he tried to justify the quality by saying, “that’s the reason I never order polenta because in my experience that’s it looks.” I then responded that’s not how it’s supposed be, that has been sitting for a bit which is why it looks like that. After that, he finally asked what I would like for him to do and I said I’d like a fresh one. He obliged and brought me a fresh serving. I understand being all over the place but checking in with your guests is key, which was another issue I had.
3)The ribs…unfortunately, I think there was something off with the timing of firing the food because while my pork chop was piping hot, my wife’s ribs were lukewarm at best. That, along with the paste like polenta that also was cold, leads me to believe, there was a miscue in the firing order for our order.

Again, this place has become a favorite when visiting LG. I hope the feedback is taken in a constructive light as this is one of my favorites. Every visit won’t be perfect, nor do I expect it to be. This will still be on our list of places to visit, hopefully, next time will be better.

This place is such a hidden gem! The restaurant itself is super cozy and cute inside. Husband and I celebrated 22 years of marriage by getting dinner here. Drinks were amazing, we got the bread starter which was delicious, and both our steaks were absolutely superb. The only disappointment was that they didn’t ask if we were celebrating anything.

Reservations were made and still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated (even though there were tables available). Another 20 minutes until initial drink orders were brought to the table. This is easily one of the best restaurants in the area and Landon was one of the most attentive servers that we’ve had.

Spent about $200 after tax/tip for 2 so for Illinois folks its fair, for Wisconsin its pricey.

Made a reservation for our anniversary. Arrived at 6pm and they weren’t overly busy. Our server did a great job explaining the specials. She took our drink order and then came back to take dinner order. My husband selected a special, the trout. A little bit later the hostess served our drinks. Then the server returned and told us they were out of trout! So my husband selected another special. A little while later two couples came in. The gentleman was talking loudly and ordered the trout. So we waited to see what he was told and he was never told it wasn’t available! Our server never checked on us after the hostess served the food. We would have loved to order another drink! The food was ok. There are far better restaurants in the area. Our server finally appeared with the check. My husband questioned about the trout. He was given some excuse about the order in the computer which made no sense since we were there well before the other two couples. We will not return or recommend. Very sad because other people spoke so highly of the restaurant.

Went there for drinks and appetizers. Food was very disappointing. Tried pizza, crab cakes, spinach/artichoke dip and some other kind of snack cake. The only thing that tasted good was the barbecue wings. Many tried their signature blackberry drink. Not one person I spoke to, nor me liked it. Way too sour. Overall a disappointing experience. Too bad. The decor and atmosphere are nice. The bartenders are nice. Won't go back there.

Had a party of six. The Interior is very nice. Must have been a slow night Wednesday, as there was only one other party in the place. We were shown to our table, waitress introduced herself and gave us the specials. We ordered two of the specials, 2 striploins, one pizza and one burger and 3 appetizers. The food came out in 53 minutes from ordering. The food was good. The only knock was the strip loins were cooked perfectly but they were not tender at all. It had a good taste but those steaks were tough. The waitress did not come around much, but when she did she took the alcohol drinks and seconds but never brought over new sodas for those that were drinking. I gave it four stars for the tough steaks, and shoddy service. At the price point that this place charges $$$$ you would expect it to be a 5 star in all categories but it wasn't. We not only took the 18% gratuity but added 20.00 more to the tip. We left the kind of tip one should for a meal and drinks at this price point, even though the steaks and the service did not live up to the standards they are trying to convey. You will spend hundreds here for a party of four but do not expect service to live up those expectations.

Actually it was not Fire2Fork but the Sunset on the patio. Last time we were there we had a great time. This year seemed disjointed some how. Food ran out, table service was poor, but staff was friendly & apologetic. Ordered cheese platter. Was supposed to have cheese, olives, nuts & crackers. Got melted cheese, a few slices of sausage, very few crackers, no olives or nuts. Cookies were melted, ordered 2 sandwiches & only 1 was correct, so they took it back & never saw anyone for almost an hour. Went to staff to cancel order & they gave my money back & charged me for my last beer! Also last time concert lasted til 10, now over before 9. Very disappointed. Hope it was just a bad night.

We had been meaning to try this place for years, finally went with friends and we all enjoyed the whole experience! We all sampled the very unique and tasty charcuterie tray, had some tasty drinks, and had a fantastic dinner. Service was friendly and attentive! I had a burger, was cooked and presented perfectly- juicy and great meaty flavor throughout. Oh, and three words to change your burger experience: Duck Fat Fries. Wow. Now I am forever spoiled by these, and the "normal" fries every other place chucks on the plate just will not do. Others had pizza and had similar glowing review of their tasty wood fired pizzas. Top quality ingredients and great care obviously go into each dish we tried. It's also just a very nice, unique place- with lots of space and a shining, beautiful central kitchen open to the dining room on two sides, and the bar on the third side. Our new favorite place to dine in the "greater Lake Geneva" area!

June 29th, 2024....My birthday with a spouse, a sister, and Brother in law. We all checked out the menu on their website. everything we wanted off the large plate menu was typically priced mid $30.00 range which was just fine by us. We expected in today's market. So we ordered 3 meals at $36, one meal at $42.
We had 2 drinks each at dinner and $20 for 2 desserts. Adding all the above together was $200 approx. Our bill came in at $282.
Now here is the kicker. When I required why, I was told that the website hadn't been updated I said WHAT? MY PORK CHOP WENT FROM $36 to 49

We celebrated a wedding anniversary at Fire2Fork last weekend and were very pleased with the atmosphere, service and of course the food. Bella took our order, and was very pleasant. We opened with duck fat fries and fried pistachio encrusted goat cheese with two added flavors on the tray. They were perfect for us. There were three of us - each decided on a different flavor pizza - Margh-O-Rita. Mediteranean, and the Carne Amore. There was plenty for us and we took the equivalent of one pizza home. The flourless chocolate cake was an excellent finish!

The food was good and the atmosphere was nice but we had bad service which is not expected at a nicer restaurant. Our main issue with the service was that our entrees came out before our appetizer and the server just said “the cheese curds were late” when we said something to her. Which was just stating the obvious. Then when we were finished eating, we had to wait a long time for our server to check in with us so we could pay and leave. We were there at 5 and it was not that busy so it just seemed unreasonable. Additionally, this is open kitchen style restaurant but when you walk to your table you pass open cups of sauces that anyone passing by can contaminate, which is unsanitary.

This is probably the best restaurant in the area. I had the "big salad " (a Seinfeld staple) it was delicious, very fresh and presented beautifully. With my bragging and a bite from my salad, our friend ordered the same along with her entree of pork chops, which she said were excellent. For my entree, I had the crab cakes, delish! My husband had a steak, and he said it was great and very tasty. It was good. I had a bite. Our other friend had The Yankee Pot Roast it was excellent, but wished there was more. The atmosphere with the open kitchen area made me feel I was somewhere else other than a Wisconsin restaurant in this area. We had a wonderful, relaxed, non rushed dinner. Our waitress was the best. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Prices were comparable to other fine dining restaurants. Yes I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

Had an incredible dinner at Fire2Fork. The apps were amazing. The mains, delicious. Such great quality, delicious food and we were happy with the service.

A few things to note:
- I would recommend would be to request the “cozy” area for your reservation. We sat at a table in the bar area and when we asked to sit in the other side of the restaurant which looked more supper-clubby, they said it was already reserved.
- They add a 4% surcharge if you pay with card.
- They add a $4 split plate fee.

Called fire to fork day of in the morning for a reservation for 545 pm. Was greeted by a RUDE hostess who looked SHOCKED that we even thought about making a reservation day of. Had to leave with two small children and drive 30 minutes to a different place. The restaurant was entirely empty. You should not have reservations being made in a voice mail. It is u2023. Also, absolutely no restaurant or hospitality industry should ever speak to customers like that. I will never, ever be returning.

I really hate leaving bad reviews, look at my history, it’s never happened. This used to be our go to place for dinner in the last year. The service has always been marginal at best, we come for the food, and atmosphere, but tonight, it was the worst. The last two times we have been here we said we would give it another chance. This used to be our favorite spot, but in the past 6 months, something has gone horribly wrong! The waitstaff is no longer happy, lively, and friendly. They have so many tables they can't keep up. I understand being short staffed and have given the benefit of the doubt, but it is a reoccurring issue. I don't blame the waitstaff they are a lovely bunch. The main hostest is often unpleasant and not a people person. I am more than happy to be greeted by the other girls. It appears there is a huge management issue. Recently, it takes 30 minutes to get drinks or an hour to get an appetizer. No meal should be a 3 hour event. If they run out of something, I would appreciate being told and asked if I would like something else, rather than bringing a substitute I am less than pleased with for the price of the meal.

We have heard good things about this place so we decided to try it out.
We made reservations a day prior so getting seated was not an issue. The rooms are nice , warm and comfortable .Our waitress did a wonderful job reciting the specials for the evening. We ordered blackberry old fashioned which were good, along with appetizers of fried calamari and cheese curds. The cheese curds were delicious, the calamari breading is too thick for seafood. For our entree a couple different pizzas along with two different kind of burgers. The pizza and burgers were good., the duck fat fried French fries were the best thing we had. Our overall thoughts were the food is good, but not for the price you pay to eat here. Great idea for a restaurant, needs some work and it could be something very good

Really fantastic dinner experience! We were in town from Chicago and were lucky enough to find this spot while searching Maps. The restaurant has a cozy, rustic ambiance and is much less crowded than any of the options in downtown Lake Geneva. There were extensive wine, whiskey, and cocktail menus, many food options, and the service was great. We did call ahead at 5pm for a 7:15 reservation on a Sunday night and didn’t have any trouble getting in. Highly recommend for anyone staying in the Delavan area looking for a quality farm to table meal.

My experience has mixed reviews. My husband's drink, an Old Fashion, was obviously watered down. I tasted it and agreed with my husband. My lemon ginger martini was fantastic.
Our appetizer was the calamari. We both found the calamari to be very chewy and heavily breaded. The sauce saved the dish.
My husband had the lamb ribs special. They looked and were extremely fatty, he said if it wasn't for the BBQ sauce they'd have no flavor. My beef short ribs were tender, moist and very tasty. Although I feel the portion was small for an entree. I feel the experience was expensive and I won't be back. We're locals, not vacationers.

4.5 Stars. Fire2Fork is a wonderful place for a cozy date night or a large family outing. Open Kitchen. It's located out in the country and has the feel of a Campus eating experience--there's also a Dinner Theater and a Stitchery business on the grounds. Outdoor Seating to watch the sunset.

Deducted 1/2 Star for small portions, everything ala carte and high prices.

This farm to table is amazing all the way around!! The service was excellent and the ambience with the wood Fire is perfect. The fried goat cheese with chutney and chili sauce was so good. We ordered the Pork chop and Ribeye and they were both delicious. The pork was juicy and tasty. The Ribeye was insanely tender and had the perfect flavor. It was a great choice and I would highly recommend! They even wrote Happy Anniversary in Chocolate on the plate with our key lime pie and that was also amazing. The charcuterie board is beautiful and delicious, loaded with locally grown items that are in season. A true pleasure to the pallet. The fried cheese curds are light and airy and possibly the best cheese curds I've had. Yes, it's Wisconsin and I've tried many!I stick by my opinion. Their Pizza and burgers are devine and a treat for any age. The strip sirloin comes on a bed of pickled cabbage and cranberries topped with butter and fitting seasons which is my absolute favorite meal. I have not one bad word to say about anything I've tried. If you have room for dessert, oreo cheesecake, key lime pie and the flourless chocolate cake never disappoint. The staff is friendly, attentive and full of personality. This has to be one of my top date night choices. Absolute perfection brings us back, time and time again.

A little underwhelmed! I am very understanding these days about the service issues, letting that slide. I wish I'd viewd pictures from previous reviews because the shortrib i received was not a correct portion and the shrimp large plate was more like an appetizer portion for one! Not sure if they were running low on product or someone got hungry on the way to the table, but my short rib entrée had half the portion and no veg medley. Didn't see our server for about 45 min when that came out, so i didnt want to spoil the groups mood and ate what was there.

Bright spots, the drinks were on point and the halibut the ladies had was delicious and fairly portioned. Might give it another go when things normalize with staffing.

Compared to the other options in the area, the food and the menu at this place is outstanding.For the appetizer I was able to try the cheese curds, pesto wood fired pizza, and wings. Although I still miss Millie's Pancake House, Fork2Fire really created a cool new restaurant with delicious food. I love a good fish fry, and Fork2Fire doesn't disappoint. Wow! This place exceeded expectations on so many levels.
First, I read a negative review that ended with the patron bashing this place for following Covid rules- you know, rules put in place to keep everyone safe. So based on the review from the awful patron, I quickly decided that this place was clearly the type of establishment that I’d feel comfortable dining within. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that the management and staff cared for everyone’s safety. We were seated more than 6 ft away from anyone else and masks were required until food and drinks arrived to the table. Paper menus were used so that the hand-off of plastic covered menus would not potentially deliver cooties to the next guest.
Second, our server was Travis and he was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable about the menu items, and attentive to our every need. Such a fantastic member of the team!
Finally, the food was pretty darn phenomenal. We tried a variety of menu items, to the point of feeling like way too full, but so incredibly happy with our decision to sample just about everything.
We will certainly be back. The staff was awesome, the food was delicious, and the feel of the place was an industrial rustic sort of vibe. So cool. So good. So happy!

I called this restaurant Sunday & left a voicemail to make a reservation for 15 people for the following Saturday . No call back. I called Monday & followed that with filling out an online request for the reservation. No response. Thursday when they opened for business, I called back for the third time and finally got through to someone. Never received a call back or response to email.

Upon my guests showing up to my reservation, no tables were set & ready. They had a large group sitting separately at multiple tables.

When I called and spoke to the owner, he had the audacity to tell me they weren’t prepared because they were accommodating me “last minute.” Well maybe if you answered your place of business phone calls or emails you wouldn’t have to do that.

The owner was completely rude.

To top that the bar was not open for drinks while waiting for a table. Also, if you want to be controlled by mask wearing, this is the restaurant for you. Would never try to eat here again.

I just finished take-out fish fry from Fire to Fork and literally every aspect was exceptional. The battered fish tasted amazing and traveled well. You could taste the spotted cow in the batter! The fries are clearly made in house and tasted terrific with great crunch. The coleslaw was vinegar based and intensely delicious. The tartar sauce not only was terrific but there was what I consider to be a reasonable amount (2 times what other places include) They make their own ketchup! THE KETCHUP IS BETTER! The apple sauce is tasty enough to be a stand alone desert! The takeout containers were made from paper instead of styrofoam removing the guilt of takeout! Every part of this meal was superior to other fish fries!

Our first time and we loved it and came back stuffed. Everything we tried we loved. First the service and wait staff is top notch.
Then the setting and ambiance 👌. Food we can't say enough, the pics we took tell the story. Amazing buffalo garlic wings, had the cheese curds that are large ,light and fluffy. The garlic knots were delish and massive so be aware. By now you might be full.
Then came the entrees. We had the short rib pappardelle, the salmon and burgers. Burger and fries were massive and a bit greasy but good.
To top it off we had the creme brulee and the cobbler ... So good! A minor observation , the layer of sugar on the creme brulee was not light and delicate as I'd have expected. Was heavy and thick but quite good. Depending on your palate, just a heads up.
