It's a lovely location, but the food was rather meh for the price and hype. I ordered the french onion soup with cheese on the top and it was alright. Was hoping for a less goupy cheese than what I'm sure was American; it didn't help the texture. I ordered duck which I don't think supper clubs have any business cooking, but I had hope with it listed under 'Fireside Favorites'. There was no brine done beforehand; just an overcooked and dry but substantially meaty half bird with orange marmalade on the side. The marmalade tasted rather saccharine and one note which makes me think it was from a jar. It was plenty of food and marmalade and duck do pair is about all I can say positively. My wife got filet mignon which she liked just fine which brought the 2 stars to 3. I ended with a brandy old fashioned like you do and it wasn't really noteworthy or bad. Just meh.

We paid a high price for food that was sub-par. Service was poor. I ordered Italian dressing and got French. We ordered clam chowder and recieved some kind of brown beef and potatoe soup which tasted old. Waitress spoke very fast during ordering. I had trouble understanding her. My wife ordered a daiquiri with her meal and it arrived after the meal. We were seated too close the bar and repeatedly disturbed by other customers coming and going. Certainly not worth $114.00!

Very nice in place. Located in the shoreline of Townline Lake. Beautiful views. The service staff were excellent. The best chowder I ever ate. Our only complaint was my wife's baked potato was bad, the center had a black spot on it.

We had 6 people, 1 an eighteen month old, they sat us right away, but it was just opening. Three of our group had chicken noodle soup, all 3 said it was way too salty. One had the French onion soup, with croutons and cheese, she said it was excellent. Two of our group had ribs and chicken, the ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, lots of food, the wild rice was bland. It wasn't near as good as it used to be, and the prices have gotten way too expensive. And the sign said that they were short staffed so be patient with them.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner the other night and we were disappointed in the food. We started with a couple of cocktails at the bar, the drinks were good and the service was too. We were then seated and were impressed with the menu and what was to be included with dinner. Each meal comes with both soup and salad, along with rolls and a mini muffin. The salad was a supper club salad, exactly what we expected. But from there it went down hill. We both love french onion soup and were excited to try it and didn’t mind the $2 up charge, until it came out. When it was presented we both looked at it a little confused. They brought out French onion soup with a white American cheese slice on it! The cheese proceeded to disintegrate into the soup tainting the rest of it with that processed cheese taste. For my main course I ordered the prime rib, which came out and looked good, cooked to rare which is how I ordered it, but they must have gotten a pretty tough rib roast. Biting into it, it was surprisingly flavorless and chewy. I also ordered the scallops on the side which for $15, they were pretty small for that cost in my opinion, they were just alright. I also had ordered the twice backed potato for a $2 up charge, I was shocked that they were able to change the color to an orange potato but also not add any flavor. My wife ordered the roasted duck, which came out incredibly over cooked. The duck had an orange glaze sauce on the side which was cold, which was a confusing choice we thought. The staff was nice enough and the ambiance fit the north woods supper club esthetic. Over all a disappointment, I would recommend going to Wally’s South 17 or Lizzy T’s instead

Super cozy cabin style supper club. All dinner entrees come with a ton of side dishes so it’s definitely going to fill you up. I got the wall eye fried fish and it was one of the best fried fish I’ve ever had. The batter was so light and crispy and the fish was tender and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend it! Have probably been here a half dozen times over the past 2 years, and have always been pleasantly impressed, until recently. The menu and staff have changed. The salmon and chicken were dry and bland. The BBQ ribs were dry and chewy with horrible sauce. So it seems that ownership/management/kitchen staff has changed? Sad. Came in just 30 minutes before closing without a reservation and they had no problem seating and serving us a full dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Love going here! We went for my husband’s birthday. Great food, great service! Very attentive bartender and waitress. Food was delicious! Tried the garlic cheese curds for the first time, they were really good, not too garlicy. I had a ribeye, my husband had the NY strip, both were cooked to perfection (even though they had a sign up stating that they were training new kitchen staff). The onion soup was great! My wife and I came for dinner for our anniversary. We made a reservation and noted it was our anniversary dinner. They recognized that when we came and sat us at the best table in the house overlooking the lake.

We had the garlic cheese curds as an appetizer and they were delicious. I love French Onion Soup, have had it at least in 30 different restaurants and their soup was the best I’ve had by a mile.

We both had seafood and it was delicious as well. Our waitress was polite, attentive, but not overbearing. Would highly recommend and we will come again next time we’re in town. Thank you for a great evening!

WAY OVERPRICED! Stuffed shrimp were very small and only 6 and maybe about 1/2 tsp of "stuffing" on top of each one. Rice underneath was literally swimming and drenched in way too much butter, which made it unappealing. I was still hungry, so I filled up on the cold bland roll and Ritz crackers. My friend and I had an absolutely incredible experience at the Fireside Supper Club. We were attending a cross country ski event at the Northwoods Golf Course, and took a Thursday night venture over to Fireside. From start to finish all was spot on. Great ambiance, wonderful drinks, creative appetizer dishes, and absolutely fantastic Perch dinner entre. For as wonderful as the food was - the service was even better. We had a wonderful server, absolutely top notch attentive, professional, and great personality. Couldn't recommend this place higher, just GO!!!

Heard so many good things about this place. The view of the water was peaceful, restaurant was clean, Old Fashioned was great, and the waitress was friendly. I had the fisherman’s plate. My perch tasted fishy, frog legs lacked flavor but were tender. Scallops were very good and stuffed shrimp was fine. My husband’s lamb chops were as much bone as meat and were gristly but the flavor was quite good. The Baked French Onion soup was disappointing. The processed cheese on the top was melted but not browned at all. I scraped the cheese off as it ruined the soup fixed the way it was. Overall disappointing meal. Sorry to say, I won’t be hurrying back.

The cut sizes were way off from the size portions we asked for. They Kings were more like Queen size and the Queen was like the smallest size they offered. Went in right as it got dark so I got a short glimpse of the beautiful view out the window. Ordered the Seafood platter (scallops, jumbo shrimp and haddock) and accompanied it with a draft Johnny Blood Red Ale... delicious. It came with butter over a candle so it was warm and melted during the entire meal🤤which I thought was a wonderfully small benefit that went a long way. The seafood was fresh and tasty; the seasoning could have been of a better variety but it worked.

The service was friendly and experienced with the menu which really enhanced the experience. Inside had a cool lodge vibe with some great tunes on the speakers that made the atmosphere that much more enjoyable. I really want to try the steak next....go check it out.

We have eaten here a couple of times. The food is pretty good. I am always full and often have a take home container. Staff was friendly and attentive. But what impressed me the most was the women's bathroom. It has to be one of the cleanest, most up to date public bathrooms I have seen in the Northwoods. We had a great prime rib dinner at the Fireside! Called to make a reservation and we were told they were full but would put us on the list if someone cancelled. They called back a few hours later after a reservation opened up, and got us in!

The food was great, and you get all of the sides with your prime rib (rolls, salad, soup, potato, and a mini muffin)! More than worth the cost of the meal.

Best supper club in Wisconsin- real history. My boyfriends family has been coming for 3 generations. Great value for the food quality and amount. Friendly service, great atmosphere. Other supper clubs imitate and fail- this is the real deal. Would go every night.

Was a nice place, friendly staff, had the porterhouse 24 Oz steak, was delicious, my family also had steak, so as far as steaks went, we all enjoyed are meals, will definitely be going back for sure, maybe on the pricey side for some, but saves me a drive to wausau, very good service and the food was good, had to bring food home, all of us, i recommend this for sea food and steak so far, if you go enjoy, and let them know Kelley sent you, enjoy also make sure to get a reservation, place is always full.

Stopped in last Saturday night with my Daughter and her Boyfriend. It was a very busy night, and they were Totally Booked for the Evening,
" ALWAYS " a good sign !!
We were seated promptly, assigned a very tentative Waitress who took our orders, brought our meals to us, and checked to see if everything was what we expected. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS !! Would HIGHLY recommend this Supper Club to Anyone !! Great Portions, Competitive Prices, and a Quaint Atmosphere that makes you feel Relaxed and oh So Comfortable.

Wonderful dinner. My wife had the NY strip and I the Fillet and Lobster Tail. Both were perfect. We had the Duck appetizers which we sent back for being undercooked but Wonderful experience.
