Considering how understaffed this location is, the wait staff was busting it and it was appreciated. Its just a building/place as far as atmosphere is concerned. Poor service and management. Had a large group of 10 and called ahead to be seated together. Got there and told if we were separated they could seat us faster, we declined wanting to sit together. Waited an hour and still got seated apart. Ordered eggs Benedict and eggs were watery, extremely undercooked. Complained and were given equally undercooked eggs two more times, eventually left the food there.

My wife and I have been passing by this business for months now, always outside of their operating hours due to our busy schedule (usually staying over for our volunteer work with the NO REGRETS Men's Conference, and local Destination Imagination Regional Tournaments in the area). Finally, during our latest trip to the Brookfield area, we made it a priority to visit on a Sunday morning for breakfast. We are so glad we finally did!

Since the weather was prohibitive for use of their outdoor seating area, we entered First Watch via the building breezeway. We were immediately enveloped in a delightful blend of modern elegance and warm charm. Our experience began with a remarkably prompt host who seated us within moments of our arrival, despite the bustling atmosphere. The background buzz was enough to set the feel of a great breakfast / brunch meet-up place, yet was low enough as to not interfere with our ability to hold a conversation.

The menu is a treasure trove of unique and intriguing options that are sure to please any palate. Starting our fare was
the Ham & Gruyere Melt alongside the Tomato Basil Soup, creating a harmonious brunch match up akin to the perfect mix of a happily married couple. Indulging ourselves, we added a side of their Seasoned Potatoes; perfectly complimented with a delicate Parmesan cheese sauce and herbs. We upgraded them to the "Million Dollar Potatoes" which features a topping of their "Million Dollar Bacon" pieces (the most decadent version of this meat I believe I have ever chomped down on)! The MDB is SO GOOD, we ordered an added side of the Bacon itself; an culinary experience that will not be soon forget (both by us and our cardiologist and nutritionist when the blood test numbers come back)!

One of us has Celiac disease, so every new place we try can be a bit tricky. While First Watch is not a dedicated gluten-free establishment, both the front-of-house staff and kitchen are knowledgeable and can prepare and serve your food with minimal risk of cross-contact or contamination. As always ***It is YOUR responsibility to politely inquire about and inform your waitstaff about the specifics of your situation.*** That said, our Breakfast Bowl was incredibly delicious and had zero ill effects for us (which made it twice as nice of an experience!)! My wife also enjoyed one of the best hot chocolates she has had in a while (though her homemade version is the best, of course!). I chose to just enjoy their house coffee - which was remarkably smooth and delicious.

Big kudos go to our waitress! Mayre is an absolute ROCK STAR!!! OMG, I don't think we have had this much fun out with someone since we trashed the Hilton with Jagger and The Boys back in '68! Mayre's service and conversation is what Truly MADE our time here at 1st Watch a blast (and with as great as this place is - that is saying A LOT!). Professional and highly knowledgeable - yet exceptionally personable, perky, witty; she is just an all-around great person! If we could have made an order to go, it would have been for her to grab her coat and come along for the afternoon with us! HR: we are not sure what you are paying Mayre, but we're sure it is not enough - Give That Girl A RAISE, and don't lose her! Her customer service skills makes Top-Tier look second-rate!

The menu options were mostly balanced for large audience and included seasonal options too! I found it a bit more difficult to find the Vegan or allergy friendly options within the menu- I think they could have been called out better. The kids menu didn't have as many egg-allergy friendly options, but we were able to find something since his allergy is more mild. If his egg allergy was more severe, we would've had to piece together sides like fruit & toast to have a safe option. Overall, I loved the elevated egg burger for myself and I thought the service was great!

Stopped by here on a Monday morning with my wife after dropping kids off at school. First time trying this spot. We were seated immediately. I ordered a Healthy Turkey Omelet with a seasonal specialty drink. I don't remember the name of it but I know it had dragon fruit in it. The meal was very light and definitely filled me up just right. Not overly stuffed and not too light, where I was still hungry. The drink was one of the best drinks I've tasted, it left me wanting more but I resisted the urge. Will definitely return here again. The waitress was attentive enough but we did have to get her attention to get our check and small to-go box. Not a big deal at all. Will be returning and hopefully the drink is still on the menu.

Service is good, but I was never offered a refill on iced tea. Atmosphere is okay, but sooo uncomfortably cold inside in late July. The food is a real problem. When I ordered the traditional breakfast, the menu led me to believe it came with two eggs. I got one. Or maybe they serve super small eggs. The side of toast is one small piece, cut in half and served pre-buttered yet so cold that the butter never melted. I ordered the potatoes “well done and super crispy on all sides.” I was served white potatoes. Those were sent back with a second request that they be well done and super crispy. After a couple minutes, the potatoes were returned at about a 2 out of 10 crispy rating. I ate the 20% that were lightly browned and gave up and left the remaining 80% (see photo). This area has so many good breakfast restaurants. Go to one of those. With tip included, spent $21+

Went to first watch for the first time yesterday. I wasn't impressed. I ordered the shishito brisket hash entree, the shishito pepper on top was completely raw and not blistered like the description stated. My wife ordered a simple two egg breakfast. She did not like the potato side.

Came this time for breakfast with a group of 4. They seated us, even though not everyone was here. (some places don't). The dining room is spacious, well designed and clean. Lots of natural sunlight through the windows.

Our server got us settled in right away with beverages. Did a great job of answering questions, taking our orders, keeping our drinks fresh, and checking back with us. (Thanks Louis)
