Awful burger ! The bread was old and dry it crumbled when I grabbed my burger ! The meat was dry with no flavor at all. The fries were average at best. You would imagine with those high prices they would be able to provide you a burger better than White Castle, which they didn't unfortunately 🤔!
Stay away go to Culver's or Wendy's for a way better burger at a much more affordable price. The staff were fast and polite. I can't blame them for a dry burger and old bread. The sad thing is that everyone I spoke to afterwards had similar complaints and it wasn't just limited to the Pleasant Prairie location. Final words,

I went into the Pleasant Prairie WI location and was greeted by the funniest, welcoming guy named Jacob. He really went out of his way to lift my spirits.. Such an authentic young man thank you for making my day and food my food was great. It Would be great if 5 Guys added cheese fries to menu it's a midwest thing.

Staff was super friendly and very quick to take our order. It was a quiet evening and there was only 2 other customers besides myself. While they were making food a great song came on that made myself start singing and the manager joined in making the night so much fun. Thank you to the staff and awesome manager for making the experience more than me just stand around being bored wait for my food.

Last night Duncan and crew came to the rescue. Had a later flight home from abroad and our kids were low blood sugar.

Saw the place was open til ten which was great for us. The sign inside said 11-10 all week.

Shout out to management..all the guys here all did great by us.

Food was good. Restroom clean and had towels.

I’m just so disappointed with the manager at this location, for making me feel like I was a thief, trying to get a refund for an order that wasn’t complete. Right in the store I witnessed this manager being very rude to another customer.
I was camping with my family and ran down to this location to order little cheese burger and small fries no salt…. I paid and I was handed a single bag, only for me to get to home and discovered that there was no fries…. $5:19 for small fries no salt !!!!!!
Manager said she remembered dropping a bag of small fries no salt , what she didn’t realize was dude handed to me a single bag with just my sandwich in it…

I normally don't eat at 5 guys, because they over cook the food. Burgers are normally almost charcoal and the bacon is charcoal. I was pressed for time so I stopped in. I was amazed the burger was not over cooked and the bacon still had some flex to it. Tasted pretty good. I might stop back in if they keep doing it this way.

I am a Door Dasher here in Kenosha and I got an order to pick up at five guy, on arriving one of the staff attended to me timely and told me he’s preparing the order and I said ok and step aside to wait. While waiting another staff made me the drink that is included in the order and I said thank you to him and I continued waiting for the rest of the order.

While waiting, a lady walked up to the first guy who attend to me and started telling him some kind of story or whatever. I saw that the guy stood there so engrossed in the story and she was laughing and enjoying her story, and for a second he tried to bag one of the orders while listening to her. Also, the second guy who made me the drink went closer to listen to whatever story the lady was telling the other guy—mind you I was still standing there waiting.

I felt very concerned that the lady was distracting the first guy working on getting my order ready on-time with her story so I talked from where I was standing saying “ could you guys attend to me”? Then the lady walked up to me with a straight face and said 👉 “ we are waiting for the fries to be ready, we have to make it when you get here and you will need to wait 1–2 minutes for your order to be ready” , and she walked away with an attitude.

I said she is rude to the guy who walked close me after I complained though, because of the tune in her response to me.

Her story stopped and everyone went back to what they were doing after I complained, and I heard her complaining to one of the guys about what I said bla bla, so I talked back at her from where I was standing saying “you need to speak to me with some respect “ and boom she blow up on my face yelling. She asked me to leave the store, took the drink from the table that was for the order and said I am not picking up that order, that she is the manager. I told her i don’t care, I just need my order and request that she speak to me with respect. And she say she was going to call the policy and I was like go ahead. I went ahead to say “you want to call the police to arrest me because I ask you to speak to me with respect? Or because I complain of my order being delayed? I then asked her again “is it because I am BLACK? And she responded by calling me “a racist” I told her I’m not.

She called the police and I have no idea what she told them because I was surprised to see four police cars and officers. I called DoorDash and told them what happened and stayed back at the store to answer and tell my side of the story what happened in the store.

NB: she asked the two guys who witnessed everything not to say a word and they all left their service point and disappeared when the police came. I know their faces and can identify them in case asked to identify them.

The police perfectly understood the situation, the call was not necessary. The name of the manager who displayed this unprofessional attitude/behavior is Ashley working at 9330 75th St pleasant prairie. This incident happened today in above address March 3rd around 4:46 PM — 5:20 PM, the time may not be accurate but it’s between that time period.

NB: the police officer who spoke to me said the manager Ashley as requested me to never go to that store “Five Guys” so he asked me to reach out to a higher manager to resolve it so I can continue picking up food in that particular store. He knows she overreacted and he gave me that advice.

DoorDash is investigating the incident and for my safety I will not go to that store because she may harm me if she sight me in the store. I have also informed DoorDash to remove me from the store.

I had to even post this review anonymously because Ashley may trace me to my house with my name showing on this review to hurt me. This is how unsafe I feel from how Ashley the manager working in Five Guys treated me today.

This is such a poor attitude/behavior for a business. Apparently, she would walk anyone out from the restaurant who dare to complain of their food/order being delayed.

Ive only ate at 5 guys one time before trying this location. The burgers were flavorless fries weren't like remembered. The burgers from what use to be juicier and better quality. My fries tasted like the put the old ones back in the fryer. Maybe they had an off day I more then likely won't be back. Five Guys seems to be too over priced and less quality then even Culver's. I would of compared the burger patty to right above McDonald's in terms of quality, but more dried out then a loaf of bread on a countertop for a week.

Came here as a treat because it's usually too expensive to afford. First issue I had was the two shakes I ordered were mistakenly combined into one. I was given two new shakes free of charge. Secondly, this specific location was incredibly dirty in the dining area as well as behind the counter in the kitchen, didn't notice until I had already ordered. The straw that broke the camels back was when I got home and halfway through my burger found what I can only describe as balled up cat hair in the middle of a huge glob of mayonnaise. My biggest regret is not being able to throw up everything I ate, hopefully the other half that gets digested doesn't give me food poisoning. Will NEVER be coming back to Five Guys.

Don't know what it is about a Five Guys burger & fries but since the very first time trying which was the Gurnee location back in '09 which is closest to my house, has always remained #1 in taste for me. I always come with an empty stomach just so I can order my double cheeseburger + an extra pattie.

With the high quality of food and pricing, I consider FG to be a high-end burger joint and there's plenty of other similar chain competitors that use fresh prepared meat as well with the likes of Smashburger, BurgerFi, Shake Shack, In-n-Out, American Wildburger, Meatheads, Whataburger, Epic Burger and even Culver's which is mid-priced which I do love also can do battle.

When it comes to taste, it really is what you like and to each his/her own. I have yet to explore and discover other chains that may be limited to certain other states or regions in this country as well as popular local-owned venues and hole-in-the-wall type gems. But for nearly 14 years now, this taste still reigns supreme over any place I've been.

At FG it's not just the burgers & fresh cut fries I love but indeed the overall vibe, the peanuts, the flamboyance of the employees at many locations when they see you entering the door, spiffy clean dining area surrounded by food critics' comments and of course for me: a double cheeseburger with an extra pattie, extra cheese slice, grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, ketchup, mustard & mayo, some fresh cut bad boys with both ketchup & malt vinegar for dipping and wash it down with a Coke........MMM MMM MMM, love it!!

Regardless of the inflating food prices nationwide which started with the COVID crisis and eventually the minimum wage increase, I still have to make my way to my favorite burger & fries from time to time regardless of location and please keep cooking up that awesome grub and keep up the exceptional customer service, guys!

Pretty good burger, a little on the expensive side. The last time I was here, the main kid I was dealing with was pretty high. My order got messed up. When I went to straighten it out, he'd ask me what it was supposed to be, I'd tell him, he'd start walking away, then immediately turn around and say he forgot it. It happened 3 times. Consistently fast and quality food. Their online ordering works great, and the food is almost always just being finished as I arrive. Customized items are accurate, and food travels well for the 10 minutes or so it takes me to get back home.

A rainy and damp April night, almost closing time! We pull in and ask if they are still open. They were actually cleaning but said they had no problem feeding us, lol! The group there was very professional. I don't know their names, but they were polite and respectful. They were disinfecting bandits! They were disinfecting everything in the building before we left. As they say, cleanliness is next to godliness! I let them know that before we left. I ordered a double cheeseburger with everything and a small fry, my wife just wanted her grilled cheese and lemonade. It was all done to perfection, the facility was spotless, the bathrooms were spotless! And like I always say, clean bathroom clean prep area. Dirty bathroom, don't eat there! I have to say this visit was refreshing considering the lack of respect shown to one's fellow man nowadays! The staff is definitely worth an above average tip! And, that's exactly what we did.

I came into 5 Guys at the Pleasant Prairie location on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at about 8:30-9:00pm. I was helped by a Jeremy and James. The female employee said her manager put the order aside and they forgot. They then started my order. I should have left at that time. I asked for a discount but was told they have no authority to do that. While waiting i called my ride to let them know it was going to take more time for me to come outside. When i got off the phone 2 employees started hassling me about how the fries are not dropped right away and it’s not their fault and we are making your order —i told them i am not there to argue. They continued to yap yap yap which i don’t understand. They were not short staffed but had time to spew unwanted banter at me. After 10 minutes i could see the food finally going into a bag which i knew was mine & i approached the counter. Again just me and one man in the whole place. As i got the the counter the girl literally yelled my name. Absolutely uncalled for & unprofessional!

Had bad experiences with takeout orders here before, but they seem to have cleaned up their issues. My last two orders were handled in a reasonable amount of time, and accurate.
