Had a group of 4 ate here for the first time, great beer selection, maple old fashion was excellent, great, knowledgeable bartender. I had the Boss burger, tried cutting it in half and picking it up, that didn't work, first time I have had to eat a hamburger with a knife and fork, but it was outstanding. The others had a crusted chicken breast, schnitzel and a chicken sandwich, all were delicious.

This was our second time to Fork and Dagger. I had the Panko crusted chicken and my wife had the wild mushroom shrimp pasta. Both were phenomenal. I could eat that panko chicken everyday. My favorite though is the seared ahi tuna. So delicious. Wait staff was super attentive while still giving space, the perfect balance. It's become our favorite restaurant in the area.

This is a little gem of a spot that is well worth the drive!! Mondays are more of a sampling type menu which changes from week to week. If you are a bit of a foodie, you will definitely love this place. My guest and I shared all of the plates so we could each try everything. We had a crispy pork loin served with braised red cabbage. The pork was pounded thin, breaded, and pan fried. It was tender and delicious. We also had a crab cake and a Berry cashew salad with aged cheddar. Both were well balanced with good flavors. I would absolutely recommend stopping by and enjoying this unique dining experience!!

The more we go to the place the better it gets. The burgers are easy top 3 all time best burgers for me. In particular I am a mushroom burger fanatic and will order any burger with mushrooms wherever we are. The mushroom demi burger they currently are serving is SUPERB! Another ordered the special which was swordfish and cooked perfectly with flavors that took you to a Caribbean place. Not all fish is easy to cook and I am a hard critic it comes to steaks and fish. They are often not cooked properly at places. we have yet to have any subpar food, mistakes or bad experience in numerous times here. Servers appear happy and that they enjoy where they work. Even the hostess and other waitresses would interact with our little girl as they walked by. Other businesses please take note. It is far easier to run a successful business when the people like where they work and who they work with. This has become our go to for favorite local place to eat. On top of great food, great selection of beer and drinks. Please continue the great work and appreciate the staff, they truly make it happen here.

This is one of our all time favorite restaurants. It's a hidden gem. Service is amazing... Natasha is the best! Cocktails are yummy... But so are the beer and wine choices. Exceptional! We always have great meals here! The food is exceptional. The drink menu is unique with a huge variety. Our server was the sweetest down to earth young lady. The bus boy kept our water full. The ice cream drinks are fabulous. Good quality food! The meats are always tender. Tasty mashed potatoes. The portions are generous. The bar is classy and the servers at the bar are very personable. My only critique is the noise is really bad in the dining room. Acoustics are horrible. My girlfriend and I went here for dinner a few weeks ago, and were blown away by the impressive service and fantastic food. Our server, Brittany, was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional while also exemplifying a friendly and welcoming supper club charm. She explained the specials of the day and various sides, and I risked the steak (which I never order at a restaurant, since I make amazing steaks :) and boy were we pleased! Their talented staff has the ability to make everything taste better and slightly more complex (in a great way!) than you'd expect. Even the vegetables (al dente, perfectly seasoned) were top notch. I wish we'd taken some pics to share. Then she invited us to check out the Bourbon bar in the basement, which we didn't even know existed. Downstairs, we saw a refined atmosphere, cherished by regulars, and met the owner and his wife. He explained that they have hundreds of top shelf bourbons in their collect. We were driving a bit of a distance, so we passed. But we hope to visit again in the near future and order high quality bourbon to accompany our meals next time. Definitely a 10/10 experience and wholeheartedly recommend. We lucked out that they had some availability, so making reservations in advance is strongly encouraged. Thanks again to everyone at the Fork and Dagger that made our dinner one to remember!

We were entertaining friends from out of town on Saturday night and decided to have dinner at Fork & Dagger as we have been to the restaurant numerous times, including hosting a large table for my husband’s birthday, and have had relatively positive experiences. Unfortunately, 3 out of the 6 entrees we ordered were (or became) INEDIBLE. Two of the inedible items, Prime Rib and Halibut, were featured specials. The Prime Rib was to be served Medium, but it was UNCOOKED and SO GRIZZLED that it could not be cut with a steak knife. The Halibut was overdone and dried out (risotto was excellent). The NY Strip was ordered Medium, but served Blue. These issues are all easily remedied, which is why I am always confounded if a restaurant chooses not to fix the situation as the hill to die on. Given our recent experience, I really don’t expect this place to remain in business much longer which probably makes this review moot, but the ownership may want to consider the following: DON’T condescendingly “serversplain” and argue with your customer about Prime Rib temperature. You never know who you are speaking with and they may know more about proper meat temperatures than you (and maybe more than the person who incorrectly prepared it). DO apologize and offer to either remake the item or remove the item entirely from the bill. I prefer the former and so should the restaurant because it shows that the Cook (“Chef” is overzealous) can properly prepare the item which makes me more than willing to give the place another try. DON’T be snarky, rude and unapologetic and remove ½ of the price of one of the 3 entrees and call it a day after taking the plate back to the kitchen and MICROWAVING the entire thing as your way of solving the problem. It’s a big EFF YOU to your customers and, without customers, well, you know…

I can not say enough about how good this place is. I don't drink, but their bar seems very busy all of the time. Their restaurant is our go-to place. They have a poutine appetizer a person can have as a meal. It is that large. The ribeye they serve is probably the best ribeye I have ever had. The creme brulee is silky and just the right finish to a meal. Be sure to ask about their specials.

We had heard such great things about this place, and were excited to try it ourselves. After our experience last night, we won't be back. When my husband and I walked in, there were a handful of people already at the bar, but it wasn't overly crowded. Upon taking seats at the bar and saying hello, the brunette waitress/bartender stared at my husband, set the menu on the bar, said "Here's the drink menu, food is in the back.", and walked away. We waited, expecting someone to take our drink order. I realize it was near dinnertime, so perhaps the three employees behind the bar were terribly busy elsewhere. But once we noticed a group of four, who entered after us were promptly served their drinks before we were even addressed again, my patience had worn thin. After almost 10 minutes of sitting and waiting, we started to get up to leave. It was then that the young man behind the bar came to take our drink order. We decided to stay, placed our order and asked if we could order dinner and eat at the bar. He said he would have to check with the kitchen. We enjoyed our drink, all the while catching sight of all three employees who were consistently behind the bar, including the young man doing various duties like drying and restocking wine glasses. Never once were we acknowledged or gotten back to about if we could order food. Other patrons came into the establishment, but went back to the dining area. After the party of four who came in after us, there were no new patrons at the bar area, so I can only chalk it up to rude/poor customer service. Fast forward 15 minutes... the young man came back to ask if we wanted food, at which point, we cashed out and left. It really looked like a lovely place, and the food menu looked delicious; but the terrible customer service has turned us off from ever returning or recommending Fork & Dagger.

As for My Husband and I Ribeye Steaks, we’re very disappointing. Before Covid, We always would get the Rib-eyes, We would tell people You guys had the best Ribeyes ever, until Saturday night, were full of silver skin, hardly could chew them. My husband and I had dinner for the first time last night. This place has a wonderful, inviting atmosphere. The host staff was very welcoming. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. The food was nothing short of amazing. We choose the Ale Battered Cheese curds for starters. The curds were so delicious, especially with the Lingonberry sauce. Who knew that combination would be so amazing?! We both had burgers that were cooked perfectly. I even tried the salted caramel crème brulee, which was the perfect ending to this meal. We will definitely be back again with friends. As I side note, I do recommend making reservations as this is a popular place.

Went out for a Sunday afternoon cruise through the Kettle Moraine area. Stopped at the Fork and Dagger Ale Haus because of the good reviews. We had a party of 8 and we were all extremely satisfied with our meal and the waitstaff.
We will definitely be coming back to this tasty restaurant.

Menu has a huge variety. Couple of us ordered the salmon special with asparagus & rice - delicious, perfectly prepared. Also ordered cod and chicken - yummy as well. Atmosphere is quaint and sophisticated, but menu would satisfy all ages.
