Put our name on the list for a party of 2 at 5:15. I was told it would be about an hour. We were staying at a cabin right next door. We came back at 5:55
I told the host we would be on the patio, and he said he would find us. Multiple parties of 2 and 4 were seated before us even though we were ahead of them on the list. I inquired several times about being seated. After some time, we were the only ones standing in the bar area waiting to be seated.
We left at 7:15. Won't be going back.

The food and drinks are outstanding as well as the service. We added on to the size of our party and they accommodated with only a short wait. The dining room is not large but the outside patio is beautiful and adds quite a bit of seating. The fried chicken is absolutely scrumptious and the portions are ample. I took home what I couldn't eat. Fair prices and lots of daily special dishes not found elsewhere.

Rude and inconsiderate owner and staff. They don't care for Seniors at all. I went with my parents early on a wednesday and they were disgustingly disrepectful and dismissive. You're shuffled out as soon as you finish, and the fish fry is rubbery anyways.
Not allowed to eat at the bar (?!) and they lie about their seating availability for some eccentric reason.
It's out of the way, go somewhere more friendly with better food and better prices and less mosquitos where you're not treated like crap.

It’s clearly the best fish fry in the north woods. They have a great selection of fish, the perch being my favorite. They have a unique potato pancake recipe which is the best I have had. Also unique, they give you a choice of either coleslaw or cottage cheese, cottage cheese being my favorite. Great attention to detail. It’s now hard for me to go anywhere else.

Friday was our first visit. Excellent! I had thr ribs. Best ribs I have had in a restaurant. My husband had the scallops. He thought the only thing that would make them better is if they were served on a garlic butter fettuccine rather than rice. Our hostess was great. She gave us a table by the window which we really appreciated. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area.

I’ve been going to Four Seasons since I was a young girl. Every year it’s gotten better especially since Neal and Chris took over! They always greet me and my clients with a big hello and beautiful smiles. The food, I can’t say enough! It’s awesome! They have always been known for Ribs and Chicken and they are second to none! The other menu items too, are wonderful! The VIEW is 2nd to none! There isn’t another place in the area like it! You feel like you’re sitting on the water from both bar and dining areas! My group had a rather strange experience here that I'm having trouble understanding. My wife has Celiac disease, which means that she is actually allergic to wheat and gluten. We told this the waitress at the outset of our meal, and she was nice about it (though as with most of these supper clubs, she didn't seem to have a great understanding of it). The salad came without croutons, etc., and she was willing to check with the kitchen staff about ingredients. However, when my wife's steak came to the table, it had onion rings sitting on top of it. I told the server that she couldn't eat it, and that we would need a new steak. She took the steak back and we were mildly annoyed that my wife wouldn't have her meal with the rest of us.

Then, the hostess came to the table and told us that the cook was refusing to cook us another steak. She said they were going to take the whole meal off the bill, and that he would cook my wife some more shrimp, but that he would not replace the steak (that he ruined). We were flabbergasted - there was absolutely no reason for this, and the hostess seemed to have no power to make the cook re-do the steak. It wasn't closing time, they weren't out of steak, he just wanted to refuse us a meal.

I've seen other poor reviews on this restaurant that seem to have a common theme of the cook arbitrarily refusing service to some folks.

Needless to say, we almost certainly won't be back unless they get a new cook (or chef) and I highly encourage folks to reconsider this place - nothing aside from the steaks is particularly fantastic, it's all pretty standard supper club fare that you can get anywhere else in the area. In addition, last time I was there I overheard the owner (or one of the owners) tell a customer that they source their steaks from the same supplier as McGregor's Blink Bonnie. Although there's a bit of a long wait, I'd recommend going there instead - we've never been treated poorly there and it's so much more of what the supper club experience should be.

In summary, eating at this restaurant seems to include a chance that the cook might refuse you service for no apparent reason. With so many other choices in the area, I would recommend trying somewhere else, as this establishment clearly does not care about their customers and takes no pride in their quality of service. Go somewhere else where you can enjoy the true Wisconsin north woods supper club experience without the risk of a man-baby cook ruining your evening.

Dinner and cocktails were delicious! Visited from Chicago and we loved our dinners. The jumbo shrimp were very yummy, loved the fish as well. The escargot was a delicious appetizer, especially dipping the breadsticks in the butter! We also got the tacos and they were tasty. The chocolate cheesecake was incredible. Everyone else got the prime rib dinner and the portions were massive and everyone enjoyed them! Great experience.

I pride myself with never giving negative reviews because everyone has an off day. This is my first EVER negative google review of a business. We are visiting the area today (5/18/24) and came across Four Seasons Resort & Supper Club purely by driving by. Considering it is Saturday at 6 pm, we decided to stop and see if it was possible to eat without a reservation. We understand the restaurant/hospitality business because we are in the same type of business. (Parking lot was less than half full btw) The bartender went and asked the kitchen if they could fit in 2 of us, and we even offered to eat at the bar if seating was an issue. The bartender came back and said yes, they could fit us in and said the bar would be fine to eat at. She was wonderful and took our order. Since it seemed they were feeling overloaded, we ordered the easiest thing possible, that being 2 queen cut prime ribs with baked potatoes (since all you really have to do is slice, warm and serve). After 30 minutes, the nice bartender brought us salads and breadsticks and as we finished our salads she came over and told us "the kitchen changed their mind and now you can't eat". We both were shocked, yet extremely polite and said we understood. I mean, why didn't you just tell us that when we asked when we got there so we could go somewhere else??? That's why we asked!! The 2 couples on both sides of us were as shocked as we were to hear her say "you can't eat". We all looked around to see if there was a camera or if it was a joke. One of the couples told us we could sit at their table and the other couple we met sitting next to us at the bar also did not have a reservation. However; they were seated in the dining room. Since they arrived before we did, we completely understood. We finished our drinks, awaiting our bill and yet another couple came in and sat next to us at the bar and had...(yes, really) NO reservation. They asked how soon they could get a table and the bartender told them it would be about 15 minutes. Still shocked at the situation that has now taken well over an hour, we got our bill and... they charged us for our 3 beers AND the 2 salads!!! Seriously??? We asked the bartender why they would charge us for 2 tiny sidesalads after all of that and she agreed it shouldn't be charged to us and removed them from the bill. We paid for our drinks, gave her a 30% tip and left. We will never return, reservation or not. Off day or not, this was the craziest thing we've ever experienced at a supper club. We can't tell you if the food is good, but we can tell you to make sure you have a reservation. By reading a few other reviews...it doesn't seem to matter if you have a reservation anyway. By the way, the one star we give in this review...is for all of the nice couples we met at the bar and for the poor bartender who had to rescind our order. The people we met were wonderful...and as confused as we were this even happened. PS: There are plenty of other wonderful restaurants to dine at in the area. We ended up finding one that took amazing care of us tonight, even at 8:30pm.

Everyone from the bartender to our waitress to the owner were very pleasant. We ordered the Perch & Filet Mignon. Filet was cooked exactly how it should be as well as being served with a flavorful au jus! Our entire experience was top notch. We've been to the Four Seasons many times over the years. The food is good.
Lately, the service has become very, very slow. I think it might be a problem of too little staff.
Tonight we ordered the fish fry special (easy, right???) and after over 30 minutes of waiting, we asked the server when we could expect our food and she replied "I don't know".
We got up and left, because if she didn't know if or when we would be served, why invest more time.
There are enough other restaurants in the area that serve good food and offer good service. We won't be back to Four Seasons.

They are known for their ribs, and with a good reason. Those were the best ribs I ever had. I don’t like the bbq sauce, so I got it by the side...and I ate it all. Thinking, I ll have to wait a whole year to have them again, the original way... and the chef did them for me on his day off- that was like I would win the lottery. Absolutely a must have if you are in Minocqua area.
The location is super nice on the lake with a beautiful bar, and outside area. Getting a parking spot should be also pretty easy.

Make a point of dining here every time I come to minoqua. I stopping by on a Wednesday without reservations and was turned away. I kind of expected that. Made a reservation for the next night. Waited 15 minutes and got a table by the door with a great view. They are so busy! They work so hard. The dining room and kitchen are both small. If you’re on a schedule this is not your place. Expect to wait and just let them do their jobs. Walleye was lovely. Will continue to return on subsequent visits.

Northwood restaurants have their challenges with wait & kitchen staff but this place made it pretty seamless... There was a 30 minute wait for our reservation which was kinda a drag but gave us the opportunity to take up space at the bar & converse, that didn't stop us from hanging around and having a Godiva Cheesecake. Death by chocolate... I highly recommend! Thanks for a wonderful experience! We enjoyed the Wednesday Fish Fry and would definitely do it again! The steaks looked wonderful and I want to try the Butterflied Shrimp YUM!

Loved the setting, bald eagles were flying nearby and very visible. Not a large dining area, so had to wait two hours for a table, even though we were there 15 minutes after opening at 4. Stopped in Tuesday nite. The wait was lengthy, but it did not matter. The view and atmosphere on the deck was relaxing and enjoyable. They were busy, but when my steak came out, it was one of the best stocks I've ever had. Such an enjoyable evening.
And then I went out to the bar to pay our bill and saw a derogatory political sign on the back bar. I don't go out and spend money and expect to experience someone else's political opinion. I'll never be back.

Used to be our favorite place to eat. We will NEVER go back. After waiting for 90 minutes for our dinner to arrive, all the while watching other tables that were seated after us eat and leave. I told our waitress to give us the check so we could pay for our salad and drink. She told us she would call the police if we didn’t pay for our full meal and brought the food out to the hostess table. Then the chef came out into the dining room and shouted get the “fu..” out at the top of his lungs. The absolute worse customer service I have ever experienced. The bar and restaurant both have wonderful, unobstructed views of Big Arbor Vitae Lake. For the perfect Northwoods supper club experience, go early and enjoy an Old Fashioned at the bar before heading into the dining room for dinner. But in the last year, we have waited over an hour and half for a table even with a reservation, we brought our family from California visiting, got 2 filets medium Rare, they both came medium well. Sent them back and waited half hour for a new steak while the rest of the party kept eating. New steak came still over done. Night is ruined. They only took 20.00 off bill. We're done.

Friday night Fish fry was very good. Four nice pieces, beer battered in light coating. Many choices of potato. We had the potato pancakes, which are a nice treat and not available everywhere. Also came with other sides including excellent home made baked beans. This restaurant runs a tight ship. Even though they were packed, we only waited a short time at the bar before we got a window table with view of the lake. Friendly staff. Excellent service. Come as you are and enjoy.

A couple months ago you responded to Dan’s review about you being rude. Well your response was targeting ATV use of your boat Launch being unacceptable because of your cool signs. Fun fact, you didn’t yell at us for ATV use. That was another group at the same time our buddy Jordan was WALKING off the lake. He has cancer and looks forward to this trip every year. So screaming at him for walking up your boat launch seems a little ridiculous. Focus on the atvs/utvs from Illinois that were using it. We watched it all happen. Plus your food is terrible. Consider new staff.

Stopped in Saturday oct 3rd, our second time here. Bartenders and owners are very friendly and fun. We had a beautiful view! Food was wonderful! Was our 25th anniversary and they brought out a delicious piece of cheese cake with a candle. So very thoughtful! Owner went from table to table greeting and chatting with everyone. We will definitely be back and often! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Excellent food and service. The owner was very nice and brought out a tray of toys for our daughter to play with while we waited for dinner. We had perch and lobster that were perfect, and the soup was really good too. A classic supper club just how you want it to be. Great views too.
