We held a surprise 50th birthday party in the upstairs and it went so well. Jamie did a great job helping us plan and is very accommodating. The space is rustic and cozy which fit well for our whiskey/burbon theme. We chose to have a buffet of food with a variety of hot and cold items. All of it was great and there were many compliments from our friends and family. Service was awesome! Thanks for making our party go so well!

Four way is a place my family and I have come many times to get together for Friday night fish. Many times, this has been a fantastic experience. Front patio is amazing, servers are attentive and lovely.

However this time, we ate in the dining room. For starters, the energy was … depressing. Servers were snappy, impersonal, and showed zero interest in working at this business. Sat down to at 8pm and by 8:30 felt like we were invading the restaurant by being there. I’m a service worker, have been for 14 years. Bad nights happen, but this was a collective effort to be rude and entitled in a work place.

Zero communication and where to pay (at the service counter? How would we know that?)
All the workers sitting out counting tips, eating and know one talking to us about how to wrap up our dinner experience.

If you’re going to work in service, learn your script and do your job. I promise you it will make more money and you’ll learn a thing or two.

We had out 11th year business anniversary here 3 yrs ago and it was spectacular. I just took my bff who turning 50 last night. The hostess and wait staff were very nice. Left them a nice tip to show our appreciation. We will be back!

Food was not very good today. The burger I think was spoiled. Tater tots were over done. A big mouth lady sitting on the corner of the bar had a very big mouth. Then she gets a big cup with alcohol in it to go. They left on one of those 4 wheel carts. She’s from the area miss know it all.
Think I heard someone say her name was Sue.
We won’t be going back.

Friday night we tried out Four Way Bar and Grill for the first time. The restaurant originally opened in 1978. The name stems from the four way partnership with the original owners. They run the restaurant like a Supper Club and have a wide variety of food options and portion sizes.

The single portion of fried haddock comes with 6 decent size pieces. The breading was light, thin and crispy. The fries have a sweet, almost like seasoned salt sprinkled on them, which was delicious.

The chive crusted cod had a nice crumbled breading baked on top of it. It didn’t really come across as chive-y, but was really good.

The 1/2 portion baked cod, was a really nice size piece of fish for a 1/2 portion. It was nice and flaky.

The 1/2 order of salmon was cooked well.

The broasted chicken came with a breast and wing. The breast was so moist and juicy.

This place was insanely affordable. For all five of us, our bill was only around $100 😳 At most restaurants that is a price for two people.

I’m a little surprised, we have never heard of this place before. We will definitely come back here.

Used to be such a great place, always my go to for dinner. Staff is always great, bar is always good. At least the last year and a half at least, the food went to crap. Don’t bother to make a reservation, we still waited while there were tables open. No prices on anything on the menu, understand some are market price but not all. Very unorganized and not attentive at all. Waitress never came back one time to check in. Just dropped the ticket and told us where to pay. Would not recommend.

The place has gone down hill.
I have been going there for Sunday brunch for years. I haven't been there in awhile went last Sunday with my sister. She was looking forward to the chicken. But it was under cooked. I had 2 small drumsticks which had blood oozing by the bone. When my sister said something about it to the wait staff she only pulled a few pieces of the chicken.then when they brought more chicken out my sister tried a thigh and had the same results. The waiter said it was just a blood vessel.

Had perch plates to go. Food is always very good but I wish they has a better, more accurate way to know the exact price per plate. We ordered from their online menu: 1/2 order perch= $15.58 plus single perch= $18.19. The paid receipt charges were 1/2 order=$17.67; single perch=$20.79. That's a total of $4.69 more than advertised. Plus tax= $4.95 overcharge with no acknowledgement or explanation. Beware.

Party of four and two meals were very disappointing. Broasted chicken was dry and overcooked. Another guest ordered a seafood platter and got a dried out cold piece of fish. Nothing was offered to rectify the chicken after complaining to two different staff members. Not to mention that the prices are not on the menu and you’re told to scan the QR code. We did check and when we got the bill none of the prices were right. The prices were more. We have tried this place several times and it just doesn’t seem to get better. Unlikely to return in the future.

2nd time I’ve been here with my significant other. Our first visit was pleasurable. Service, Food, Atmosphere. This time, not so much. Having to sit at the bar for drinks food order was marred significantly by a bartender named “S” who deliberately ignored me when taking drink orders for my girlfriend and friend who are white. I’m Black wearing a AMERICAN FLAG embroidered cap and she deliberately ignored me, wouldn’t even look at me and when told by her supervisor of the slight she still ignored me. Even a pleasant, social, white bar neighbor noticed the insult. it’s quite obvious her feelings about serving a minority. How about racial sensitivity training for your employees? As a retired Lambeau Field, Green Bay Packers employee, it was not a pleasant or welcoming service or atmosphere.

The perch were very good, however the tartar sauce was not. After trying their tartar sauce, I decided to take my fish home, and make my own tartar sauce. Had an appointment nearby and decided to meet a friend here for lunch after realizing Spork was sadly closed.

I’m not really into writing bad reviews, especially within the restaurant industry- because I formerly worked in the field for years, so I understand how tough it can be…
However, I feel people should know the food is honestly just terrible. We did their lunch buffet and salad bar. Their chicken was chewy and dry, the salad bar was just sad, and they had styrofoam plates & plastic prepackaged dressings which was very odd. Their mashed potatoes & gravy were completely flavorless. The taco meat was unbelievably greasy and did not have a good flavor at all. Half the taco shells were broken. The list goes on. Our table was also dirty. The waitress was nice and meant well, but for not being busy in the least-she was terribly inattentive and blatantly ignored me (after making eye contact as I waved my hand at her) when trying to get her attention so we could finally pay and leave. I had to track her down up front near the bar after sitting with our check for well over 25 minutes. It was also a very dark and dingy atmosphere in the back restaurant area. I would not go back, and normally I’d give a second chance.

I’ll just end with this: You have a lot of competition in the area, and I think there’s a lot of room to evolve for sure. Even just being a “bar & restaurant” most places do better. I sincerely do hope this review is helpful to take those steps at bettering your business.

The presentation of the food was poor. One of our sandwiches was rare not medium well and cold. The other one was ok nothing special. The bill was itemized so you pay for everything that you have on the sandwich. If it is a chicken bacon ranch sandwich that is how it should be priced. I've heard great reviews about the Four Way and I definitely plan to give it another try hope update with a higher review. It was a busy Friday night with an unexpected twist (not able to accept credit/debit cards) cash only. I think that may have been a factor. Bartending staff was polite and fast despite the hiccup. Food was very reasonably priced. The wait staff was lacking, this the low review. Possibly a shortage of staff in dining room and/or kitchen? Food was great but slow to arrive. 2 or if 3 received their meals but the last one came very late. One ordered mushrooms and sauteed onions and received a large bowl of raw onions (?) and no one was asked about refills. We were seated and noone checked on us except to bring the check. I'm hoping a 2nd visit will allow me to update this review with a higher score.

Terrible service. Had to go search out server for help. Our breaded mushrooms were frozen inside. Pizza was cold. Cheese wasn't even melted. I think it was a frozen pizza. Only 2 other tables besides us. Why can't they serve the food hot and fresh? Prices don't reflect the listed ones. I have frequented this bar several times. We have brought friends with us many times as well. The last two times they charged us different prices every time we ordered the same drink. We ordered a busch light each time last night. The first time we were told it was $4.25 for a 12 oz can but the bartender would take $4. The next beer was $3.25, the beer after that was $2.50, the last one was $4. I let the bartender know what was happening and received s response that there is a price list that should be followed. Maybe, I was being charged VIP prices some times. This still didn’t make sense, Since the price changed 4 times for the exact same drink. Needless to say, I’ve enjoyed going to this bar, however; will not be back unless this is taken care of. In addition, a friend was drinking captain and Coke. The drinks at the outside bar were almost $2 more than if she went inside to get it.

I used to go here all of the time when I got out of work. I went yesterday with my family-the service was awful, and the food wasn't good. The food took 45 minutes from order time, we had no silverware, had to go to the bar to get it. No one checked on our meal-we had burnt food and had no opportunity to ask for condiments or another beer/drink/refills. We will not be returning for food, and maybe not for drinks either.

I don’t even know where to start. their seating system is awful. they have one girl running around to do everything. they gave us menus but they have NO PRICES ON THEIR MENUS! they instead want you to scan a barcode to download an app just to get the prices, that’s crazy. we soon found out why they did that, they charge extra for any topping you get or any sauce you get… ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. then i ordered some boneless wings and i wanted them with buffalo sauce on them and the only put a few drops on it so i asked for a little more sauce, the pictures are below. It is very rare where I find a nice place after kayaking that I actually wish I could give it six stars.

This is one of those places.

The menu is wonderful.
