Burger was very watery and did not taste very well. Chicken wrap was nothing special. Packed full of cucumbers but not much for chicken. Homemade chips were just seasoned sliced potatoes but they were good. However way too many for two people. 2/10 would not recommend this place for price. Paid over $52 for less than mediocre food.

Fox River Brewing Company is a huge, self contained, restaurant which is adjacent to the Fox River Mall food court. It has a bar in one corner and an open kitchen in the other. In between, is a wide open dining area with many regular tables. The menu has a wide variety of choices, so I wondered about execution. Thus, I was pleasantly surprised by our piping hot dishes and their excellent textures. The flavors were spot on as well. I had chicken and waffles, and my cousin had fish and chips. We loved them both. The fish consisted of big, flaky, dark beer battered, cod fillets which held together nicely without being greasy. So, the fish and chips descriptor is accurate. The chicken was crispy and the breading was well seasoned. Either dish is a great choice. The staff was friendly and responsive. They brew their own beers and have a nice cocktail menu as well. I'm not much of a shopper, but this place might turn me into a mall rat. You know how you catch a rat, right? You put out good cheese! Of course, the curds there were good too. Nibble, nibble, zap!

Food was fine but and the service was good. It was a very busy holiday weekend, everyone was friendly. We were disgusted by the hygiene of the workers. We sat the bar, we saw workers eating with their hands, stuffing food in their mouth and going directly to making drinks, grabbing fruit out of cups without washing hands. Should the wash rag basket be next to the water pitchers? We saw water get splashed directly from the rag bucket into the pitchers of water that was being served to customers. We

They changed their menu recently and greatly reduced the amount of food choices. Remaining entrees now are nothing special, something you can find else at any other sports bar or restaurant, except the prices are still high. I would recommend staying away and going somewhere else as the food they now serve is nothing special

I enjoy stopping in and having a meal with my kids at the Brewery. Today my wife and I stopped in with our son for a quick late lunch. I order a hamburger and fries and was shocked that my $17 hamburger was a dry dense piece of meat out of the freezer. I didn’t expect this type of meal in a place like the Brewery. I could have selected a half dozen burger places in the area at half the price and not ate a thawed Hamburger patty.

UPDATE: Well on my 7th visit. I’ll just summarize everything before I explain: the food here is amazing…And the services is dramatically fluctuates. And when I say service, I mean either the waitress is an outright mean person, unhappy, or “ghostlike”…
Or I get the best waitress ever it’s not much in the middle.

Visit #1, WAITRESS #1: The waitress was not good at all. Service matters, and she failed. Overall impersonal and didn’t know price of drinks (that weren’t posted on menu either). Generally she seemed unhappy to be serving us and it made us feel uncomfortable.

Visit #2, WAITRESS #2: Now this gets weird. Asked about for a taster tray & she handed me beer menu. Ordered food & ate it, waiting for her to take beer taster tray order. Came back, and forgot I wanted taster tray.
Well…she FINALLY took that order after 20min. But guess what?!? She never brought it….until she did 45min after I originally sat down.
This situation is completely baffling, since it was 7:00pm on a Thursday with 4 other clients in the area I was sitting.
It was very slow.
beyond that beer and food is amazing!

Visit#3 Waitress is lost in her own world. Basically just grunts. It’s quite confusing how some of the people who work here are so happy and OnPoint… And Some are in the wrong industry of being a waitress…, they simply have no conception of their job and what it means to customers.

Had to lower it to 2 stars cause of how waitress(s)making us feel uncomfortable for basic questions…and 2nd waitress dripped ball beyond imagination.

So sad service is sliding downward every visit

BUT….

Simply amazing beer!! Probably the best I have had in all of Wisconsin. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating and the cheese curds were great. Getting the taster tray is the way to go. All of there beers should win awards in the rightful categories.

We went here to eat as we were in the mall area. Now to be honest this was not our first choice but every other place in the area had a 30+ min wait. Here we got seated immediately. The hostess was friendly getting us seated.

I had ordered a burger. It was cooked exactly as I ordered it. I also had several of there micro brewed beers that also very very good.

My wife had fish and chips that she enjoyed. She also is not much for micro brewed beers but our server made a suggestion and was able to get something that she enjoyed more than she expected.

Overall it was a meal that hit the spot and we left full and satisfied.

We went one day for lunch and the next day for breakfast. Both days the service and food were fantastic. I recommend either of their waffle breakfast sandwiches!!! The waitress and bartender we had were so pleasant :) great beer selection and the mimosa actually comes in a stemmed wine glass instead of a tiny flute glass which was nice because you actually get your money's worth. We shall be back!

A convenient location at the mall. The atmosphere is perfect for a brewery restaurant. I like the touch of having the beer tanks overlooking us while we dine. Everything is very clean, a nice and refreshing thing for this area. I had the soup of the day which tasted homemade. My friend has fish and chips. One of the best restaurant I’ve been in Appleton! I’m from Brazil and this shrimp really reminded me the shrimps we eat on the beach 🥰 I definitely recommend it and can be shared by two! You can also eat the lettuce with this sauce, it’s really good (to let you know, this sauce is a little spicy).
This Salmon was created by God, really! There is a suit/salt taste, that might come from Mashed potato (btw, incredible tasty!) And for those who wants something that makes you chew, this also brings a great broccoli! Healthy, tasty and well served dish! I LOVED!

My husband and I stopped here. Its been years since we ate here. He got the elk burger, he said it was ok, wouldn't order again. I got a make your own 10" pizza. It was weird. Crust was... different. First I was served a different burger than what I ordered. When I finally got what I ordered it was WELL done and dry. I asked for medium and was told that their "standard" was medium-well and couldn't guarantee anything else. That just tells me that their cook doesn't know how to cook.

I’ve stopped in here a lot throughout the years and it’s always been pretty consistent in terms of beer selection, quality of food, and service.
This time when I was there I thought they had some new beer options and I tried the shrimp tacos which were good! The shrimp is covered in what they call, “bam bam” sauce and it has a little spicy bite to it, but flavorful.

Awesome spot to eat when heading to the Appleton Mall! Conveniently located near the food court entrance and restrooms. We were seated very quickly on a busy Saturday afternoon- food and service were great and I will now choose eating there instead of at the food court! On our way thru Oshkosh and stopped becuz of the high Google review. One situation where half stars would be helpful. I would rate this place a 3.5 stars. Was hoping for a little more with the high Google rating.

We were greeted by friendly staff who sat us down right away and our server was friendly, helpful amd knowledgeable. I ordered one of their ipa beers which was really good and flavorful! Food came out quick and was hot! Our food was average bar food. Hamburger came out over cooked and dry. Fries were just yiur run of mill frozen fries out of a bag. Again I guess I was expecting a little better better quality from the reviews. Don't get me wrong, it was good bar food. If I lived in the area I would come back for the atmosphere and beer and maybe try more of their food options.

They're homemade chips were served hot but they were not done properly, they were half raw. My salmon and squash was very good however the squash was obviously microwaved as half of it was nice and warm and half of it was cold. My chocolate cake dessert with seemingly made out of sawdust with a rubbery ganache on top.
