My husband and I ate here for dinner Saturday before going to the Paine Art "Nature of Light". I like that you can get a reservation when you have timed plans after dinner. Loved the variety on the menu. We shared a delicious big pretzel that was soft, warm and came with a yummy beer cheese dip. I had garlic shrimp for my meal that had fresh asparagus and polenta. Huge shrimp, delicious meal. My husband had a pasta meal that he enjoyed. There was a mix of families, dates, and girlfriend groups eating. They have a huge outdoor area for eating and drinks, but it was raining that night. I bet that is a great space in summer. We will return. Very good meal and experience.

Initial service was HORRIBLE!!!!! We sat for 10 minutes being completely ignored. Had to go to the bar to ask if we could get table service. Very interesting 🤔 My husband and I walked in and looked around wondering if we were to seat ourselves. Woman at bar was too busy to look up. I realized two young men sitting at a table with glasses and wine glass looking at phone and visiting were employees so I asked them if we were supposed to seat ourselves after waiting a few minutes and confused what to do or leave. They got up and one seated us and other waited. Needed a moment to look at menu and he didn't come back for 5 minutes. Asked another waitress to let him know we're ready. Came back and apologized that he forgot we hadn't ordered.😜 I ordered salmon and husband had Cajun pasta. Mine was good and husbands pasta was good except for pasta being over cooked. You can look at all my reviews and see I like to do positive one's but if I was an owner I would want to know about my managers. This could be a great place due to location. Again sad to give this kind of review.

Ordered the chicken tenders are apparently a specialty, however it feels like they fried it and fish oil and was not a fan of it. Ordered fries cheese curds (first time ever trying fried) again wasn’t so impressed. Could’ve been the oil. Definitely would try again, but would like to explore other menu options. Not a great experience but not a total wash either. The outdoor seating is wonderful with pub and picnic tables covered by umbrellas. Great views and laid back atmosphere. Not sure if seating inside would have change the experience. The food was ok. Nothing spectacular but edible.

My first introduction to cheese curds was in Appleton Wisconsin. The bar was set there and unfortunately the cheese curds here did not meet the bar. HOWEVER, the crab cakes were shockingly FANTASTIC!!

The staff and managers included were extremely friendly and attentive. They exhibited top notch hospitality I sometimes don’t see in fine dining establishments. The overall vibe on a Friday night was let your hair down and the good times roll. Attached next door is their tap room, which we didn’t visit but peeped inside to spot for beer lovers to sip play.

Overall it's a nice place with indoor and outdoor seating right up to the water. Our waitress was very pleasant and even brought out a water bowl for our dog. The problem really started when we walked in. I don't know if the girl the greeted us was a hostess or a waitress that happened to be walking by but immediately said that PTSD service dog that we had with our group wasn't allowed in the building. We carry all the training credentials, photo ID and all paper work with the dog at all times but that didn't matter to her. We had already driven a long way and were tired and hungry so we stayed but a restaurant of this size should provide proper training to employees on ADA rights and accommodations.

First visit with a group. My fish and chips were fine but the others in my group only had middling things to say. From just ok to disappointed. The beer list is somewhat difficult to interpret. We wanted draft beer and got a can instead with no explanation. We also had to ask to have the charge adjusted. The restaurant has a comfortable feel. I really enjoyed this place. The location is nice, complete with docks and an outside seating area, often with live entertainment.

The inside was equally nice. The atmosphere is what I consider a nice casual, that being a nice shirt (polo) and shorts (pants). They have a bar area as well.

The food was good, though it was cool by the time I got it. I think that the braut was done a little sooner than the cheese curds. They were both delicious, though!

Called to ask about gluten-free bread and told they had it only to be told at the restaurant that they no longer have gluten free bread. This used to be one of my favorite places to bring out-of-town friends after a day on the boat, but over the past few years, the service has steadily declined—and this most recent visit on July 4th was the worst yet.

We had a party of 12, and from the moment drinks were served, things quickly fell apart. Three drinks were forgotten, and when our food arrived, not a single order was correct. Out of 12 people, we had 12 plates with missing items, incorrect ingredients, or food that never even made it out of the kitchen.

One example—my husband cannot eat pepperoni, so I specifically ordered half pepperoni, half sausage. It came out with both on the entire pizza. When we asked to have it remade, we were told it would be another 30 minutes. With hungry kids, we just made do, but my husband ended up eating nothing. Even our 2-year-old’s food was never made.

Every time we asked about something being wrong, the waitress simply blamed the kitchen. When we finally asked to speak with a manager, no one ever came. We decided to just pay and leave, but even then, the waitress became irritated, argued with us, and told us we didn’t need a manager—that it wasn’t her fault.

This was our third bad experience in a row, and there’s been zero accountability or care from management each time. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back, and I can no longer recommend this place to others.

Visited on 7/12/25. We were seated promptly, it was very hot and windy outside so we chose the dining room, the temp was still pretty hot inside. Prices are on the higher side for the portion sizes, but everyone was happy with their food. The captain crunch chicken tenders were popular with the kids. Ordered 4 root beers and they were all flat, they gave us 4 cans instead and still charged $4 each. Obviously you are paying for the location/view, overall it was OK but we probably would not return.

Service was very poor. We had 11 people, including 4 small kids, 6 and under, and a teenage girl. We ordered a half and half pizza, and it came out wrong. We had to ask for it to be re made. We opted not to wait another 20 minutes so my wife and kids ate, I cannot have pepperoni which was why we ordered half and half. One of the kids meals (chicken tenders) was never cooked and we had to ask for it. The server kept saying it was the kitchens fault and she didnt know what happened. We asked for a manager before the bill came, and the server did not go get one. Or the manager just never came out... we usually bring groups on our boat and stop here for dinner a couple times a year. The service has usually been ok and the food is usually also OK. We will probably be going somewhere else after this incident.

Usually it’s the same with the service, but today we sat for fifteen minutes in cocktail (no host greeted us when we entered) and when we asked for a server we were told there was no server assigned to our section. We were not offered another table so we left. Typical restaurant etiquette would have the bartender serve us in cocktail if no one is assigned but apparently that’s not the case. It was a Thursday at 4:00. The bartender was not busy nor was the host. Very disappointing experience.

Sorry to say but, I would rate FRBC perch the absolute worst I've ever had. Twenty two bucks for 4 pieces of fish, 3 of which were not much bigger than a smelt, shriveled up and fried to a crunch. In addition, I ordered a cup of the white chicken chili. That soup used to be a nice thick hearty soup and now it's watered down and just OK. AND apparently, if you order soup with a dinner, YOU have to tell the waitress you would like it before the meal. Every other restaurant I've been to, the waitress will ask if you want your soup ahead or with the meal. Well...excuuuse me! Overall, very, very disappointed.

This place is great to hang out on a nice warm and sunny day. The patio overlooks the river, and it was nice and relaxing to drink a beer and watch boats going up and down the river. I had a great experience for the first time at the brewing company. Ordered orange bobber and was pleasantly surprised as I don't normally like a sour beer. One could taste notes of coconut along with a gentle taste of citrus, reminiscent of working down on the coast of Florida. For an appetizer we opted for the shrimp which were great. Then for the main course I chose the captain krunch chicken wrap. I would order again if given the opportunity for sure. Not too heavy for a warm day on the river. My waitress was a sweetheart. Food was pretty good except for the cole slaw. It didn't smell, taste, or look great. My waitress did bring me another dish of it, but it was the same. I ended up not eating it, and I love cole slaw. You need to change your recipe for the dressing. Try this one: 1 cup mayo, 3 T. sugar, 2 T. lemon juice, 1 t. salt, and pepper to taste. Mix then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This covers 1 bag of cole slaw. If you change to this, I'll be back.

Nice place on the river with a nice patio and views of the water. The restaurant was nice and mixed with the bar area. Very loud if you want casual dining. Food was average, probably because they cater more to the bar or sandwich crowd. Need to find their identity and what type of establishment they want to be. Thank you for a nice experience.

We stopped on our way to Green Bay and had a quick bite. Very nice menus, with a lot of options like short rib empanadas, lobster bisque, shrimp tacos, prime rib melt. The bartender was VERY nice and welcoming. If I lived in Oshkosh it would be a lot of fun for a summer spot on the river.

First time eating here and did not have a good time. Me and my husband walked in and was not greeted. 4 waitress just looked at us. We thought maybe they were busy so we stood there for a couple minutes and after not being approached and my husband asking what do i decided to approach a group of servers. Prime Rib was okay so was the service.

I read some of the 1 star reviews, and that was not our experience at all. I will say they did not have a lot of customers when we were there, but we were seated promptly and our server was prompt and attentive. The food was really good and so was the beer. I had a cocktail that was good, but way overpriced. Honestly, that's at every place we seem to stop though.

It's been awhile since we'd been here but it's always good. Unfortunately the only thing I took a picture of was my Salted Caramel White Russian, which was delicious. We ordered the cheese curds & Bavarian Pretzels & cheese for apps & everything was great. My husband had his Wagyu burger gone before I even saw it! My friend was the same with her salmon & roasted vegetables. Our other friend had pasta & chicken & he ate all of it so it must have been good, too. I had the 8 oz tenderloin which practically melted in my mouth. The vegetables were cooked & seasoned to perfection. Unfortunately I couldn't get to the potatoes & accidentally left the box on the table when we left. I was sad. The dessert menu was pretty disappointing. The drink menu was great & our server was fantastic. It's a loud environment, so if you're looking for somewhere quiet, this isn't it. In the summer they have outdoor seating by the water which is nice.

Ordered the Corned Beef platter. The potatoes were burned, and the carrots and cabbage were basically raw. Asked to speak to the manager, he came and was "explaining" the cooking process. We then ordered the Rueben. It was so so. The platters were taken off the bill, and the Ruebens ended up being half off. I WILL NOT be returning! What a disappointment!

There were two of us. We each ordered the corn beef and cabbage platter the special for the day. The waitress came out with one serving and said "you each wanted one?" It got worse from there. After we sent the one platter back and said yes, we would each like one and served together. The replacement platters came with burnt potatoes and under cooked carrots and cabbage. At that point we asked to speak to a manager who began to tell us how the meal was prepared. Although the manager did remove the cost for the original platters and took off 50% for our replacement meals of reuben sandwiches which were OK but not what we came for his customer service was lacking. Finally since it was my birthday I was offered complimentary red velvet cake. I am on a limited wheat diet and chose instead cheese cake. The waitress after letting me know cheese cake was available came back apologetically only to let me know they were out of cheese cake. OK, well that was the final topping on that cake so to speak.

Good food and good bear with great views!

The captain crunch chicken tenders are justifiably popular. The fish fry was also quite good! Skip the prime rib sandwich…it was basically a deli-sliced roast beef in a grilled cheese.

Overall good experience. Great service. Both my husband & I asked for medium rare steak and when it was served to us we got very well done steak. Very hard to eat and extremely dry. Everything else was good.

This was our Valentine’s dinner in the dome. Our server was absolutely fantastic. I can’t remember her name but she was great the entire time and I cannot stress that enough. This is the first review I have ever written because I had to share my experience.
I ordered the prime rib, they told me they were out of stock - sure thing, no problem - I ordered the 8 oz. tenderloin, done rare. I also ordered a cup of the white chicken chili and that was a great soup. It was the only thing I ate! She brought it out and when I cut into it the steak was well on the outside and purple in the middle. I told her it wasn’t done and I’d like it a little more cooked. She came back with a brand new steak and requested I cut into it to make sure it looks good. I did and it looked the exact same. I felt awful for the server because I know how it feels to be in this situation, I’m a waitress, I get it.

She takes it back one more time and comes back about five minutes later. The steak is well done all the way through, completely charred, and basically inedible. I took one bite and all I could taste was charcoal. It was the worst steak I’d ever had in my life. I did not eat any more of it. They only took 50% off the bill for the steak which I can understand from a business perspective since they gave me a brand new one the second time, but from a customers perspective, I will never return. The drinks were fantastic, the service was fantastic, but I will never eat their food again.
