The service was great. The young lady that waited on us was friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was nice. The food was not so good. My sister and I ordered the Walleye and it was very fishy and not fresh and not good. My wife had the tips and she said they were warm and no flavor. My brother in law had the ribeye and it was a low quality steak. He said it wss very fatie and grizzly and again no flavoring. The potato pancakes were very good and the salad bar was good. We will give it another try.

The burgers and wings are great! I had a baked potato with shredded pork and cheese the other day that was really good, too! Plus, the dessert selection, which is usually some sort of cheesecake is always worth trying. While the decor is definitely a hole-in-the-wall bar vibe, the food more than makes up for it!

my family and I were passing through town and decided to stop by and check it out. we didn’t stay for too long because we didn’t feel welcome. we stayed for appetizers, but left soon after. on their website they claim, “where the nicest people eat” but it felt far from that.

Good eats. I love to come here and get the charcoal chicken whenever they are cooking it and apparently it ends right before deer season so hopefully soon they will start doing it again and maybe with De and deer season they will do something that is close. I like coming here and eating the burgers and watching the ball games they have games, call games, etc. good place to come I’ll come back Highly recommend.

I've had a ton of fried chicken in my life, and this is one of the best fried chickens I've had in WI. Everything was crispy, and very well seasoned, the portions were the right size, and really well priced. The staff was super nice and friendly. A must go place if you're TDY in Fort McCoy.

Worst ribeye steak we’ve ever had in our lives! It was cooked properly but the quality of the meat itself was terrible. Gristly, tendons, basically like chewing on an old rubber tire. It wasn’t just part of the steak either, it was throughout the whole thing. For $21.95- it wasn’t worth $1! Otherwise the service was good & the rest of the meal was ok.

Nothing special. A bar with bar food. We got the Fri night All u Can Eat Fish with salad bar. Salad bar wasnt fancy, about what u get anywhere. The fish was good, took awhile to come out. Our server, Deb, was nice & attentive. When my husband went to the bar to pay, the bartender was n middle of a dice game. She looked & saw him then went back to her game 2 finish her play or whatever. When she was done, THEN she came & rang him out. Nice. Prob wont pay another visit.

Fried cauliflower appetiser was very good which is why I'm giving this Pub stars. The "perfectly fried" Walleye Dinner was far from perfect. It was extremely greasy & very bland. This place had great wings. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I also had an Angus Burger that was cooked to absolute perfection. I would highly recommend the burger. It's not far from fort McCoy either which is great if you are looking for a place to eat off post.

We come here at least once a week. We enjoy the staff and the food. Jessica is usually our bartender and waitress, we like to eat at the bar and visit with locals and visitors. Jess always knows what we drink and practically has it ready when we step in the door! Great place to be at “home” without being at home.
