This place is absolutely appalling compared to what it used to be. They seem to have an entire new staff while their good employees all left probably. I come here regularly and the level of service has greatly declined. Host was on her phone. Bartenders and servers are all clueless and rude now. We had to wait 45 minutes for a dry and flavorless brisket and burger. Drinks came out halfway through our meal and we had to flag down the staff to pay. This place used to be amazing. Such a shame! Never will be back or recommend this place.

I am extremely disappointed to be writing this review right now. My wife and I moved to the area a couple of years ago and this restaurant quickly became a favorite.

Today, 10/11/2025, I came in with some friends from out of town to share with them one of our local favorite restaurants in celebration of their upcoming wedding. I cannot believe what we just had happen to us.

We were checked in and put on a waitlist at 2:26 PM and had a 40 minute wait (at this time, there were many open tables, but I do understand a wait).

When we were eventually seated, it took a waitress 10 minutes to come to the table to take a drink order (wait staff and bartenders were not busy and were conversing at the wait kiosk and bar). When she did come, she took the order, and we did not receive drinks for 15 minutes. After receiving drinks, no one came to take at order for another 20 minutes. At this point, I was extremely disappointed having already waited 25 minutes to receive a drink and now 45 minutes to have someone take our order which still had not happened. I went to the wait kiosk and explained the wait and that I would like my bill, as we would be leaving. At this time, the waitress explained to me that she couldn’t give me the bill until they had found our table in the system. I said “okay” and sat back down. We waited another 10 minutes before my wife went back up and demanded the bill again. She found out that our waitress had left from work and no one knew we were there and had completely lost the bill. They said they would be telling their manager about this, but no manager ever came to the table to apologize at any point.

I am beyond disappointed in a place that I loved. I will not be returning and will not refer any of the friends and family that we had planned to bring anytime in the future.

Had a to go order. Told it would be 10 minutes. Waited at the bar for over 30 minutes. During which I asked twice for updates and I was told to be patient. arrived at 5pm for Friday night fish fry. Most of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Main entrees, cod fish fry was great, the beef brisket dinner was a little fatty. Almost all the sides were terrible, potato salad, coleslaw, fries all so plain. REALLY NEEDS WORK. The only good side was the mac n cheese. In addition to be out of the baked cod at 5pm on a Friday???? bad planning. Also one staff member at the end of meal was walking by and said " why is this bill still here, I will take it up" in a rude manner. We felt like we were being pushed out the door, even though they had 5 empty tables. Not sure we will be back.

My boyfriend and I came in for a weeknight dinner and had an overall good experience. Our wait was longer than we were told and we saw another two top without a reservation get sat immediately while we were still waiting for 30+ minutes but wasn’t a big deal. Service was good, bar was backed up so drinks took a hot second but I loved the beers, especially the honey harvest one and the caramel apple. We also loved the cheese curds and the garlic ranch served with them. I ordered the brisket tacos and thought they were amazing. My boyfriend on the other hand got the brisket dinner and was unimpressed. In his words, “I thought I ordered brisket, not beef jerky”. The brisket was pretty flavorless and the ends were hard, just like jerky, overall a very dry brisket. Food came out very quick though and we loved the atmosphere of the place.

It was a beautiful day and we choose to sit on the patio. If you sit in the patio there is no waitress service. You order at the bar and they bring your food out in a paper bag as if it were carry out. I have never had a patio experience like this. It was as if they really didn't think we were worth the effort to accommodate us. The food was in plastic containers, with plastic flatware of the cheapest variety possible. At the conclusion of the meal we had a giant paper bag filled with plastic containers to dispose of. What a waste.
I have had meals at many restaurant patios and have always had table service and never had an experience remotely like this one.

FOOD POISONING. Bottom line up front, my fiance and I got food poisoning from Foxtown Brewing last night. She ended up throwing up throughout the night and sleeping on the floor next to the toilet. I was in and out of the bathroom all night.

We ordered the baby back ribs, brisket, and two link sausages with all the fixings. Baby back ribs were dry and flavorless, brisket was even drier, and the sausage links tasted horrendous I only ate a bite before stopping. Mac and cheese was lukewarm at best. She got the worst end of it probably from either the coleslaw or the beans.
Food looks like it's been sitting around for hours put into shavers or under heating lands and then put on plates.
Our waiter was decent and the atmosphere was fine. We will not be going back and recommend others avoid at all costs.

The waitress took a little longer than usual to get to our table. Once we got our menus, service was good. Friendly staff and overall good experience.

We got some soups, one of the signature burgers and a chicken sandwich. Food was good. Nothing overly impressive to call it the best burger ever, but decent. Each burger is priced at $20 which seems to be the standard these days… oh boy.

We got a pretzel too. It was AMAZING. One of the best I’ve ever had.

Just got back from dinner, absolutely disappointed in every way.

Service was very poor and slow, borderline rude even though at one point there were more staff on the floor than occupied tables. Open server station was great to watch everyone congregate and roll silverware.

Food came out cold, bland and on the smaller side for the price (bonus - plastic ramakins for your side of coleslaw) . On the flip side beer was warm (just above room temp) and kinda flat.

Beautiful space thats absoulty wasted, marred by open edges around all flooring edges and support beams that traps food, and hilariously the wife and I watched every person on staff walk by a straw on the floor in the main walkway to the patio which was screen but with open windows to allow flys to come hang out.

No manager in sight that I could tell, over 15 people on staff when about 8 would do (spent 10 years in the industry)

Unfortunately, the timing of the food was off: our appetizer and main course came out at the same time, which was disappointing. We had the nachos as our appetizer, and they seemed like they had been sitting for a bit—the cheese had hardened and the whole dish was cold.

On the upside, the ribs were well-cooked and tasty. The sides, however, didn’t stand out. The mac and cheese, pinto beans, and cornbread were all a bit bland and could use more flavor. The buffalo chicken sandwich had potential—the chicken was cooked well, but the sauce needs a rethink. The flavor just wasn’t quite there.

Overall, it was an okay experience. With a few adjustments in the kitchen and better food pacing, this place could easily be a 4- or 5-star spot.

What a cool place! Went there early on a Friday evening and got seated at one of the high tops near the bar. Waitress was prompt in taking our drink order. Many brews to choose from. I liked that they had an IPA flight. Was a great way to try them all. We started with the fried cheese curds and let me tell you, they were hands down the best we've had in the state! Perfectly hot, fresh and delicately lightly battered! I ordered a fish fry and my husband ordered the smoked BBQ pork sandwich! We said both were some of the best we've had in a long time!

I am from the St. Louis area and I have a strong interest in microbreweries that serve good beer alongside amazing food. If that sounds appealing to you, then you definitely need to visit this place. The food was exceptional, and the service was great. My server, Angela, was very attentive, even though I came in during shift change--a notoriously tricky time to dine anywhere, as I know from working in the service industry.

The cheese curds were absolutely incredible; I've never experienced cheese curds quite like these, and I doubt I can enjoy any others the same way again. The variety of beer available was impressive as well! They offered a wide selection, and I loved that I could order flights to sample different options. I enjoy trying various beers, and unlike some microbreweries with only a limited selection, this place had so many choices that it was hard to decide what to try.

I noticed the bartenders giving brewery tours, which I thought was really cool. Although I didn't have the chance to participate this time, I would definitely return for that, as the bartender seemed very knowledgeable about the brewing process. Overall, this is an amazing destination for anyone who appreciates small brewing companies and fantastic food. I will likely be raving about this experience for months to come, as it was undoubtedly the highlight of my trip.

One of the worst food experiences in a long time. First of all the pricing is outrageous ($18 cheeseburger!) but if the food was good we wouldn't have minded as much. Atmosphere from first walking in to getting the check was very laid back, friendly, and the aesthetic of the restaurant was rustic but modern, very welcoming. A party of 8 entered the door approximately 3:20pm on a Saturday. Establishment was not busy, a fine young gentleman set up a table for us. The receptionist as you would call her, didn't even acknowledge us. When the young man had our table set and were seated, it took minimal 15 minutes for a waitress to take a drink menu. Might I also mention the finger pointing from the employees from the bar. We finally had service, for drinks and then asked for appetizers. Which we ordered. Those came in a timely fashion; however, she came back for the meal order almost 20 minutes later. Again, not to mention the finger points on our table from employees. The only time we were asked for drinks was 3/4 of our way through the meal. Never came back to see if the meal was OK, anything one might need straight away, had to flag the waiter down for condiments and the bill.
Not to mention, 2 people of the party needed to leave mid order due to time constraints and lack of timing with the waiter. Two people of our party left early because of staff.
This was our first time at the establishment and our last. This establishment was recommended to us, given we were in the area for an event. Apparently, those on motorcycles and motorcycle clothing are not welcome. I do not recommend this establishment. Sadly, Suburban Harley Davidson dealership is around the corner and should be aware of the staff!

Important Tip: bring 2 forms of ID if you want to experience the “brewery” part of this brewery. We went there on 8/14 before a concert in Milwaukee (easy and convenient 20 min drive from this place), excited to kickstart our night…. But our IDs “wouldn’t scan”. They were real. We are 32 and 26. Our waiter (rightfully) carded us as that’s part of her job of course. Said they “got a new system” and it wasn’t working. Had a manager help. The manager came and said “we can’t serve you alcohol or beer since our system isn’t working unless you have a second ID with your birthdate on it”. Obviously we don’t travel with our passports or birth certificates so….

That said, couldn’t tell you how the drinks are. But…server was friendly. The look of the place is elevated yet cozy. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of servers on the floor. The Wisconsinite burger was pretty good but dry; needed to dip it in bbq. The wings were awesomely crispy and have a unique rub. Nice place overall. Wish them the best. Especially with their scanning system.

We did not have a great experience here last Friday. The fish for the fish fry was not cooked all the way and some of it looked raw. We did ask the server about it and the kitchen said it was find. I was afraid to eat it. My daughters quesadillas were so greasy that the grease just dripped all the over the plate. She refused to eat them. I had the pulled pork which was very good. I would probably return but would not order the fish or the quesadillas.

Had a beautiful evening to sit on the patio. Great atmosphere. The food was absolutely top notch. Bruschetta was a large plate and incredibly delicious! Brisket tacos were equally tantalizing. 10/10 food. My server Katie was PHENOMENAL and did a fantastic job!

Had a mammoth pretzel burger and fries, both were well made. I want to thank the staff for giving me an impromptu tour of the caves, even though nothing was scheduled. The restaurant is very inviting and the beer selection should accommodate any taste.

Probably the most apathetic wait staff I have ever seen. Nobody seemed happy to be working here, they all actually seemed miserable. We felt unwelcome the instant we walked thru the door and like we were being looked down upon. The food was fine, but for the price it’s not worth it. We never came here before until this past saturday night and I can say we won’t be coming back.
