Out riding Harleys and decided to stop here for lunch. Cozy Sheboygan neighborhood bar with ridiculously good food. Its a fall Sunday, football on the TVs and a couple empty seats at the bar. A bloody Mary to start, if I wasn't riding I would've easily kept drinking these, so good!!! It seems Frankie's is known for its big ol sandwiches and burgers. This also holds true for the BLT I ordered with one pound of bacon!!!!! Oh, the Sheboygan roll it comes on is the size of my head!! I ended up taking half of it home. It was kinda hard to pick up n eat even after I cut er in half!!! The house made mayo is spectacular, perfect zing to it. It was only after I got home and had that 2nd half of sandwich that I regretted no getting some fries! A Blue Moon n/a was my next drink, like I said I was riding so gotta be a good boy. I'm not a big beer drinker, but it hit the spot. Our bartender, as busy as she was, was pleasent and made sure we were doing ok. We didn't hang around for the afternoon Packers game, but I'm guessing they utilize the back dining room and probably do a great business!! Restroom was clean. My riding partner had the blt also so I can't really comment on any other food, but we'll definitely be back at some point. 2 Blts, bloody mary, beer, soda was around $50 without tip. Like I said, we'll be back!!! Highly recommended.

We were in town for a soccer game and wanted to try something new. We were not disappointed. I ordered the steak sandwich and my husband ordered a hamburger. The portion would have been enough for two people. Both were as large as a regular circle plate. We had enough for two meals. The bartender/server was very friendly and service was fast. We will make the trip back to eat there again.

I dare you to finish their food. I stumbled into this local bar by sheer luck while working out of town. I ordered a fish sandwich with fries. I could not believe my eyes when the order came. The bun was the size of a bread loaf. I took the top bun of fro. The get go because there was NO WAY you could eat all that. The fish filled was just as big, lightly breaded and crispy. Drinks were reasonable and staff was pleasant.

Frankie’s Pub & Grill was exactly as advertised. The service was excellent and the food was full of flavor. I had the Maui Waui (chicken breast, ham, and pineapple) and it was fantastic. The sandwich was huge — the photo doesn’t do it justice. That’s a standard dinner plate and it was overflowing.

Easily a 5-star experience.

Only small note: an elderly couple came in while I was there and had to leave because all of the seating was elevated, even the booths. Totally understandable, but worth knowing if that’s an issue.

Overall, highly recommend Frankie’s — great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere.

Traveling back to Chicago from Door County, my wife and I stopped at Frankie’s for dinner. It was a really fantastic experience! We like exploring different places on our trips. It’s really hit or miss (more miss), especially because we don’t have much to go on other than the website and photos. I chose Frankie’s because the website was solid and the photos of the food on google looked really great.

The food was really fantastic; you could tell it was made with intention and pride. We had the onion rings (one of the pictures that made me want to stop lol), my wife had the broasted chicken, and I had the Frankie burger (sautéed mushrooms, gravy, melted Swiss). All were dynamite.

I would say, however, that the best thing about our time there was the service and hospitality the bartender Adam showed not only us, but everyone in the place. He welcomed in each guest, and thanked everyone on their way out. Dude made drinks, waited tables, ran food, bussed tables and took to go orders. A true one man FOH show, and he did it all with such a welcoming and kind disposition. If the food had been a 0/10 (which it wasn’t) we still would have a great experience because of his hospitality. Great food, fantastic prices, huge portions, and terrific hospitality.

Frankie's was recommended to our softball group from some locals since we were in town for a tournament. They weren't kidding when they said the burgers were huge! They were huge & really good! Stopped here originally for their burger but after seeing the menu was intimidated by its size. The sandwiches are huge. Decided instead to order the family recipe broasted chicken. 1/2 a chicken, potatoes and coleslaw for under $10. Who does that? Also ordered by others in the group was the grill cheese, ham and cheese and chili. The broasted chicken was good and I took two pieces home. I may have eaten my daughter’s chili which was also good. Fantastic place of burgers as big as your face! The broadted chicken is also delicious here. Cant go wrong with anything on their menu. Looking to come back and try their steak sandwich.

We had an awesome experience at Frankie's! The burgers were the biggest I have ever tried to eat. I only finished 1/2 of my Frankie's burger. Our granddaughter tried the cheese burger. She loved it and could only finish 1/3 of it. My wife and her, said it made a wonderful lunch today. The burgers were as advertised, truly as big as our heads. (At least physically)
