If I could give 10 stars I would. They’re a family run Mexican restaurant that brings more authentic flavors to classic dishes. If you appreciate meat varieties like Al pastor, chorizo, or tongue these guys make it fantastic!!!! Homemade sauces and salsas. Small but top shelf and unique liquors at the bar as well. Friendly service. If you want Mexican food in Lake Country these guys are the new Top Dogs!

Wonderful customer service, wonderful street tacos & burritos (this is all I’ve tried so far), cozy place. I’ve always ordered from the food trucks. I’m happy they opened a restaurant and am able to dine-in. I highly recommend coming in and having some great food with AMAZING owners!

Have given this place 2 chances and both times have been disappointing.
No effort into food, the meat was burnt and unseasoned- it was honestly kinda gross! The salsa smelt bad and beans were super thick..
Would rather have chips and Salsa from a Chilis or Applebees…
Place did not look very sanitary either, I can only imagine how bad their taco trucks are!

Also the owner is very creepy to female guest, very unprofessional!
And was drunk last time we dined in on a weekend night!

Took the family for dinner. It was not very crowded when we arrived. We placed our food order, and then we waited and waited and waited. Three separate workers noted we had been waiting a long time and still no food. I asked for the bill to pay for the drinks we had ordered and to cancel our meal order. We were told it'd be just another two minutes. Once again, we waited. We politely asked when it was done that it'd be boxed up so we could just carry it out. What bothers me most is that every worker knew what was going on, including the owner, and not one apology was given. We even paid full price. Needless to say, we won't be dining there again.

If your looking for a great authentic mexican restaurant and style food, this is the place for you. Some of the best people, and greatest food in the area!!! Would highly recommend. Try it for yourself, stop in at one of there food trucks, or the new restaurant downtown ocon. You will not be disappointed!!!

Very small restaurant, located in popular downtown. First time visiting. Came around 4pm, Friday, no one else in the restaurant. Family of 3. Staff didn’t even see us come in, so we waited a few minutes. Food was average, nothing special. Guacamole had way too much salt, remember we can always add more salt if needed. Chimichangas, more rice than chicken, unique chicken flavor, wasn’t for me. Husband had steak tacos, just average, nothing special. Only positive was staff was really nice, so I hate leaving this review. But, we want restaurants to improve. Can’t survive on average. We probably won’t be back.

We came to Oconomowoc to adventure and we spontaneously found this restaurant. The service was beyond AMAZING!! Our server was the owner, Gabriel, and he was so sweet making conversation with our family and attending to our order asap. The food was incredible, best tacos I’ve ever had (carne asada and pollo). Everyone definitely check out this place!!

Recently tried this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Was hoping for a great experience but the food and really the overall experience was awful. Unless they drastically change something they'll never make it in downtown oconomowoc. We had the Seafood Molcajete and Tamiquena Gabriel and both were unfortinately terrible. The chips and gauc were good though, but their sweet green soup like salsa not so much. We tried to order NA strawberry daiquiris for the kids and we were served kitties cocktails, they fixed it upon going up to the bar to ask, which we were grateful, but they were awful tasting in the end.

I was a contractor on the remodel for this place during covid. I am a professional chef 25 yr experience. Gabriel was doing prep for his food trucks in the basement of this place. Not only was it not food prep legal, but we would come in almost every day to meats being thawed out in bins on the floor...all night. Room temp when we got there. Told all my friends and family to stay away. Slicer always dirty. To boot, we talked to all the other contractors, he did not pay them either. Go to Gabriel's if you need to clean your colon. 🤮

No sauces on table. Slow service. Messed up my order and had to re-do it while my GF's taco's sat there and got cold. Pretty obvious they know how to run a food truck but are new to running a restaurant. Chips and salsa were not put out immediately as well. Copying the cookie cutter Mexican experience should not be hard but they have not figured it out yet here.
