Everything was sugary, the pasta, French onion soup, marinara. The only thing I truly enjoyed were the Rueben rolls. Also maybe it’s just me, but what is the point of bread crumbing if it’s just going be a soggy undercooked mess. The bread was amazing just took a long time to get to table. Bottom line not worth returning, too sweet no complexity, poorly cooked meats. I end my review “Was that chicken or veal.”

My boyfriend and I went here for a special meal. However, we weren't very happy with our overall experience. Our server, Jane, was not as attentive to us as her other tables. We didn't feel ignored, but we definitely weren't a priority. We'd never been there before, and we let our server know that because we had questions about the menu. The food was very hit or miss. My boyfriend got the Reuben rolls for his appetizer, and I got the baked brie platter. They were both amazing! We had a bottle of our favorite wine as well, so we were happy about that. My boyfriend loved the French onion soup, but I didn't. It was oddly sweet to me, so I gave mine to my boyfriend. Jane did offer me something else instead of the soup, but I declined because I knew my boyfriend was going to happily eat it. The fresh bread with butter and oil was awesome. However, when the entrees came, we were not happy. My boyfriend got the breaded Sicilian steak, and I got the Veal Parmesan. Both of them were soggy, even the bits that weren't under sauce. We let Jane know that we weren't happy with our meal, and she was kind of like, "oh well, that's how it's cooked," with no offer to fix it or discount anything. So, we didn't tip, because we didn't feel that we were given service that deserved one. We left feeling dissatisfied, and as we left, Jane opened the front door and watched us leave, which was super creepy. Sorry if you're mad about your lack of tip, but we matched it to the effort given. Do better.

Nice Saturday night visit. Place was a blast from the past, no on line reservation system, call and leave a message and they use pencil and paper. They were a little busy and our server seemed busy so the meal moved slow which was fine we were in no rush. We both ordered the Filet and it tasted good but it was weird, it looked like it had been cooked and then seared, the color was very even all the way through, it was a lot like slow cooked prime rib. The meals are a complete package, soup or salad, bread, veg and potato. and its a lot to eat, most people had left overs in to go clam shells. The side salad was good but its what you would have gotten at a supper club 30 years ago less the iceberg lettuce. The prices were extremely reasonable, dinner for 2 was $133, including 2 beers, 1 glass of wine, one after dinner drink and an up grade to French onion soup. We had an expired gift certificate which they graciously accepted.

What a pleasant surprise to find an authentic Italian cuisine in Cedaburg, WI a must try restaurant and you will get hooked. Great service & nice ambiance . On Thursday it was busy ! This is a great little place to check out! If you enjoy that old world feel when you walk in the door and a friendly staff that always make you feel like family this is your kind of restaurant. Gallioto’s is, quite simply, a wonderful restaurant. The food was served piping hot, everything is fresh/scratch made, and they are very accommodating of special requests. The service was impecable, prompt, and personable. Anthony is one of the best servers I’ve ever encountered. He is so kind and friendly, and he always anticipates the need. Tonight we had one of the best Milwaukee dining experiences that we’ve had in a very long time. I’m only upset that my husband and I JUST realized that this restaurant exists just 10 minutes from our house! It’s the perfect spot for a date night.

First time visit. Just loved the experience. Great people and great food. Our server, Jane, was the consumate pro. She was flawless in helping my 93 yr old Mom navigate the menu. She also gracefully stepped past my faux pas of calling the Ditka chop a Butkus chop. Jane brought me what I wanted, not what I stated. Besides the pork chop (best 1 pounder I ever had!!), we also had the Sicilian steak, and shrimp scampi as main courses. All 3 get 5 stars.

The food is really good. However, dont ever plan on visiting the restaurant on a Friday evening. Two times in the last month, we tried to make reservations, and both times, we were told that the place was completely booked for a special event until after 730 pm. We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner at Galioto's on 11 June and the evening could not have been better. Meg and her team were on top of everything and worked with us extremely well before the event to plan it perfectly. The private room was so tastefully appointed, the service was stellar, and the food recommendations were raved about by all the guests. Meg recommended small plates and a broad variety of dishes so that our guests could mingle and get to know everyone (the room is perfect for that type of event). She stayed in close contact to ensure the right amount of food as our list kept growing up to the wedding day. In Cedarburg, I don't think there's a better venue for this type of event. And frankly, I don't know if there's a better location in Ozaukee county.

I see the reviews of this restaurant and just can't figure out why they are so high. Maybe none of the people had the Shrimp Scampi? That said, I've had it twice (it was one of three choices at a family gathering, both times). Both my daughters and I had it and must have forgotten just how bad it was 'till we had it the second time. That time, we swore we wouldn't forget. Both daughters agree with my review of this dish. The noodles are soggy and seem to have been boiled for hours. The shrimp tasted about the same. No spices, nothing appetizing about this dish. I really don't like leaving such negative reviews, but I felt compelled to warn people -- stay away from the Shrimp Scampi and you might enjoy your meal (as my husband has usually enjoyed his meal, though I don't see that dish on the menu anymore). I am sorry but the only word that my daughters and I can come up with to describe the Shrimp Scampi is "Disgusting".

We were here last year and it was great. My brother couldn't wait to go back. Last night we were not impressed. Honestly horribly disappointed. The short rib Lasagna was excellent. It is very different from your traditional lasagna but super tasty. Prime rib was awesome. Mozzarella sticks were really good and crispy, and the French onion soup was really good. Chicken Marsala was yummy. Some people comment that they don't like the carpet...I think the cheetah carpet is kind fabulous. Lol

Been here twice on a Friday night, always busy with a wait so ate at the bar both times. Was served by the same female bartender (Carrie was the name on the receipt) and was fairly short and rude, felt like we were inconveniencing her. Overall, pretty good place for a nice night out. Our entrees were very well prepared. I ordered a filet mignon that was cooked perfectly to what I requested. My partner ordered a seared ahi tuna and he said it was amazing. The garlic mashed potatoes were dry and over peppered, but at least there were half priced bottles of wine on the night we went! The french onion soup was also really good but the navy bean soup tasted like 'poor man's soup' to quote my partner. The decor is pretty tacky - cheetah print carpeting in the main dining area and cheetah print on the booths. The waitstaff was also dressed pretty casual for it being marketed as an "upscale" restaurant on their website (one was wearing torn jeans and the other had cropped leggings). Would return again as the entrees were great and loved the half price bottles of wine!

We had a dinner reservation for 5:00, did not get food for at least an hour or more, when the salads arrived the sliced tomatoes were old and soggy, and the sliced cukes were old , frozen and rotten. I brought this to the attention of the owner, she gave me a lousy excuse. That they were having trouble with the fridge. ( Actually who ever prepared the salads should have never placed the rotten veggies on the salads.) But what bothered us the most was that when the bill came there was no discount for the un-eatable veggies on the salads. For the price they charge for food they should be able to get fresher veggies for the salads and or buy a new cooler.

Never had a good meal or experience. 15 of us had dinner last night spent over $400 on dinner an were told we had to leave because they has another large group coming. Front half the restaurant was EMPTY one table had people but we were forced out after a hour and a half. If possible I would give negative stars.
