Got a pepperoni pizza today. Barely any pepperoni was VERY low on the cheese. Had no taste. A frozen pizza would have been SO much better. Moved to Mukwonago 18 months ago. This pizza used to be SO good. I will never go back to this pizza place. VERY DISAPPOINTED. This pizza was awful.

Food tasted decent however got a stuffed crust pizza with nothing in the crust and barely any pepperoni on the pepperoni half! Calzone had barely any meat in it when it was supposed to have sausage and pepperoni. We were there for two hours for a pizza and one calzone!! Probably won’t be back maybe will try take out one more time .

Ordered two 14” pizzas and breadsticks for carry out. After the receptionist reconfirmed the Italian Beef pizza size, they still only sent the 10” pizza…and my wife picked up, so she didn’t know it should have been 14”. There were only four breadsticks in the order and there was barely any beef on that pizza. The order was very expensive for what we got and quality was only “ok”. Not what it was a year ago when we ordered here last….will avoid going back. Also, when my wife picked up the order, they begged her for a tip….FOR A TO GO ORDER! I don’t know why a tip is expected for letting us buy their food???…and the order was wrong.

The pizza was excellent. Service was good. Atmosphere was blasted with sun in spite of shades. A strange little dining area, but still, the pizza was good enough to go back. The gambling machines and 2 movies playing made enough noise in the small space that it was hard to hear my wife sitting 2 feet from me.

The service and food were phenomenal. They have a daily special (5 days a week) for an individual pizza, 2 good size pieces of garlic bread and a beverage for only $10. They have what I consider the best pizza in Mukwonago and the owner is super friendly. If you haven’t tried them yet, I highly recommend.

This was our go to pizza spot. We’ve probably ordered from here 8+ times. Pizza was always consistent and great! Recently, not so much. Our last experience, they accidentally gave our pizza away so I had to wait while they remade them. I had just gotten off work & had people at my house so not ideal, but fine. No compensation & when we got home the pizza had minimal sauce and you could tell they rushed them. Can’t say we’ll be back.

The staff were fantastic, the wings were incredible, but the deep dish lacked everything we thought it could be. For one medium pizza and wings at over $55 with tip, I would have expected more flavor. We love deep dish and wanted to try somewhere new. We will stick with Giordannos in Kenosha and Enzo’s in Elkhorn. Might come back for the wings though.

Our group of 6 came in right at opening on Friday. The only worker was very upbeat and honest that he was the only one there. He requested that we come to the counter to order. This was not a problem as we all wanted separate checks. Even though the phone orders kept coming in, more customers came to eat in the restaurant, and carry out order customers came in to pick up their orders, he made our food, as ordered, in a fairly reasonable time frame, especially impressive as he was the only worker for most the time we were there. All six of us were very pleased with our meals. The salad quality was good. The 4 people that ordered the lunch meal deal were impressed with the quality of the food for the price. I personally loved my calzone. The crust was tender and delicious. Thank you for a nice quality lunch.

My only suggestion is that they need new chairs or to have the seats recovered. The seats are very shabby looking.

Couldn't get served at this location. Stood at the front and waited for a long time for anyone to acknowledge our presence. Then we sat down with menus and nobody came back to our table. We heard the other table in the dining area tell the young lady that they didn't receive the salad they had ordered. The lowest rating I can give them is 1-star, but we would give them a zero if we could.

I was skeptical about trying this place due to the location getting a new restaurant every six months, but it’s been here for about a year so we decided to try it. the calzone was like a half a pizza with barley anything in it, and the pizza tasted like bowling alley food. Chicken bacon ranch pizza was terrible. There was no sauce or spices so it had no flavor. Chicken was dry. Crust tasted like cardboard. I came on a Tuesday and the special was amazing. It was a family pizza with 2 toppings you pay and you can get a free medium pizza. My brother also got a pasta, which tasted amazing! And I loved that all of the pastas come with garlic bread! All of the specials they have are amazing they have a special every day besides Saturday! Everything there is amazing as I’ve heard from close friends and family members. I definitely recommend I have recommended it to co-workers and family and friends! This place was so so good I will definitely go back.

Unfortunately this location seems to have staffing issues. We were the only people dining in last night. While there were several waitstaff, they seemed inattentive and less than motivated standing around chatting and slowly cleaning. They were also wearing crop tops and a sweatshirt with the middle finger up which my kids got a kick out of. We were there for coming up to an hour when we walked up to the cashier to ask about the single pizza we ordered and were then told the order never went in so we could get 75% off. We left and went to another new pizza place in town for a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was really nice at Genoa and I hear the pizza is good so I hope they get better staff to make it. Maybe try pickup instead of dine in for now.

The food was standard fare American Italian. The tables, though very cool looking, were the least practical tables for dining as they are organically shaped tree cuttings. A group of us (13 total) we're the only people being served in the entire restaurant and it took them 40 minutes for anyone to get any food and an additional 20 to 30 minutes for the rest of the people to get their food. I don't really blame the poor service on the 4 16-year-olds as it didn't look like there were any managers available for guidance. Our table needed to be asked several times about what we had ordered even after some of the food had already come out. If this is a local chain restaurant, I question the service and food at the other restaurants in the chain.

I decided to try Genoa for the first time on Thursday night. Order 2 of the grande calzones and an order of mozzarella sticks. The wait time for the carry order was very reasonable. Went to pick up the order and both of the calzones were in a pizza box and the mozzarella sticks were in their own container. Got home opened up the pizza box and when I say the calzone was huge it was huge!! Absolutely amazing food!! Well worth every penny!

No sign to seat yourself, but after being ignored for a few minutes we decided to seat ourselves. After 7-10 minutes a waitress finally asked what we would like to drink…um, and can we get menus as well? Menus came, but 2 waters & a coke took 10 more minutes. Let’s recap, we walked in at 5:07 on a Tuesday night & we are finally getting water at 5:25.
Once food was ordered it didn’t take too long. Had pizza & cheese bread.
Pizza crust tastes like a par-baked wholesale distributor crust. Sauce didn’t taste like much, but toppings were good.

I’m a fan of Genoas Pizza located in East Troy, Wisconsin. I decided to check out their new location in Mukwonago, Wisconsin on a Friday night. Same delicious food! Service was good, it took us over 10 minutes to be seated for inside dining. However, servers, once seated, were very pleasant. The furniture and decor was unique but, something was missing in the atmosphere. Not sure I’m fond of news and sports TV stations running in the background when dining at an Italian restaurant. Overall, I had a positive experience and will be returning.

We were looking for a restaurant to hold a small luncheon for about 20 people after my son’s baptism. We were running out of luck until someone suggested the new pizza place in Mukwonago, Genoas Pizza.
I am so glad it was suggested! They typically don’t open until 3 on Sunday’s but would open early for us. We stopped in the Friday before to put our pizza order so they could prep - they even helped us figure out how many pizzas we would need. We called them when we were on our way and when we arrived on Sunday, the pizzas were almost done cooking. Perfect timing! The pizzas and garlic breads came out hot and fresh. The workers were very accommodating and very friendly! I highly recommend visiting them soon!

Great place to bring the family for some pizza. The thin crust pizza is delicious. The Italian dishes are definitely worth a try as well. The lasagna was by far my favorite.
