We had Prime rib and it was the best I ever had anywhere. Of all the places I have ever been to for food / prime rib, this was by far the BEST EVER! The food and service was outstanding, even with how crowded the place was, the service was Great !I am very picky with my food and I dont care for the way alot of places make my prime rib. This was by far the Best !!! Great Prices also. I LOVE it and will be back. Thank You Genos !!!

There was virtually no wait, which was a pleasant surprise. The server did forget my drink, and I went the entire meal without one, but she was nice overall. The salad bar was small, and there were a couple mystery items on it but what everyone did take they enjoyed. This place closes a tad earlier than others of it's kind, but they were very kind and didn't rush us out or make us feel we had to bolt and even offered/served desert though it was getting late. Everyone really enjoyed their entrees, and they have some dishes you won't find at other places. The shrimp plates were very reasonable as well.

“If you’re looking for a great steakhouse and a scenic ride out in the country, this is the place! A great little steakhouse that’s a hidden gem! It’s has a cozy little bar with friendly bartenders and excellent food. They offer a soup and salad bar with plenty of fresh ingredients, which was a tasty addition to the meal. We had the T-bone and the tenderloin—both were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth checking out.

Great salad bar and soups. Great food. Gets busy fast so it’s a full house on weekends. But our last experience was disappointing. Literally went to the salad bar after we got a table, got a salad and they came out with our meals. This is not supposed to be fast casual dining. Table next to us had the same thing happen. They could work on that.

The salad bar very very small. Poor selection too of salad toppings. The cheese for crackers looked very old and honestly, gross! It was spread like butter didn't look real. We arrived at opening. The place is not roomy.

Friday it was packed. Tables in same room as salad bar. Difficult to get around with wait staff and tables. DINERS were not polite or yielding at salad bar. They would push in front, linger or ponder to long over choices, two soups. Clam chowder was 2 out of 5.

Our waitress knew nothing about my fish dish. Had no idea what dish contained as far as seasoning. I am allergic to paprika. ( hives)
She was clueless to a lot of things.

However, food arrived swiftly. Perch hubby ordered were very small. Expensive. You get a loaf of bread. Our bottom was coal black. The bread itself was cold. I cut off the bottom.

My haddock was okay. Slim 4 inch piece. 3 piece. I ate one.

Service was excellent though. We will not go back, parking is very poor.

They were super busy - but that was what we expected at 6 pm on a Saturday. My fiancé and I just grabbed a table and enjoyed a couple drinks (I had the Moscow mule special.). I ordered the broiled seafood with twice baked potato and he had the steak special. I loved mine. He enjoyed his meal. Salad bar was fun as always (say Wisconsin with gizzards on the salad bar!). We were not in a rush so it was fine but someone else could get frustrated.

After considering going to Geno’s for years, we finally made the trip as we live in Appleton. It was very busy but somehow we were seated very quickly by a wonderful server named Taylor. She made our first experience there absolutely A+. She was friendly, relaxed, conversational, and along with her pleasant smile, just a joy to have met. She told us she’s been serving for 5 years there and she loves her job, which certainly showed. I’m a retired retail general manager of a large area business, and I would have done anything to have such a wonderful person work with me! Oh, the food, everything from the salad bar to the main dishes were excellent as well! We will definitely be back.

One of the best places to get a steak. Very friendly people and great cooks. We always feel welcome and always leave happy and full. Very good value and id highly recommend for anyone looking for a good dinner. Great for date nights but also family friendly.

Driving through rural Wisconsin this past Saturday, we were pleasantly surprised with dinner at Gino's. The bartenders and our waitress were efficient and courteous. My best friend and I had more than a fabulous time. The staff was incredibly friendly courteous and knowledgeable.
We were skeptical about the wait due to the number of people, but they got us in in no time! And table 1!! That was cool.
The salad bar was immaculate with items I had never seen in a supper club before, which was awesome, so we tried it. Im not telling you what the items were you should go see for yourself!
We ordered the lovers special. 2 ribeyes 2 lobster side mushrooms & onion. We are happy we skipped the potato. We were so full and had enough for 2 more dinners!!

I know this place is really popular with the locals. But maybe it’s because of the bar. The bar is almost always packed. But the restaurant leaves much to be desired.

Now, granted, I’m from Philadelphia, and I’ve lived in New York, Miami, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. I have had some amazing food.

I have never left a piece of Prime Rib, or any steak for that matter, on my plate unfinished. Until this trip. The “salad bar” is smaller than the local high school, and most everything tasted like it came from a bag. Which I will guarantee the jalapeño poppers did.

So, while I truly desire to support local, small businesses, this is one that I will not be back to.

Perhaps their other food is good. But I’m not willing to risk my money to find out. Sorry.

Very good service. Bartenders and wait staff did an excellent job. I had the Broiled seafood platter which was a perch butterfly, a piece of Haddock, 3 scallops and 4 shrimp. Choices of potato sides were potato skins, Baked. American fries, French fries and sweet potato fries. My wife had the 12 Oz tenderloin. Menu listed tenderloin 12 , 16 or maybe a 24 Oz choices, A poterhouse that said 10oz. But all steaks that I saw were larger than what was listed. My wife's 12 Oz was more like 16 Oz and was tender. Salad bar was very good , it included 2 soup choices.

Fantastic experience! Great service from the bartender and waitstaff-everyone was so friendly! One of the best prime ribs I've ever had-so tender and seasoned perfectly. Broiled scallops were delicious and larger than most places I've had them. Husband's ribeye was tender and cooked a perfect medium rare. His potato skins were crispy and served with a zippy sauce, really good. Salad bar with two soups and fresh bread at the table. Top notch supper club, can't wait to go back!

First time here and impressed immediately with the fast service & friendliness of the bartender! Ordered our drinks, looked at the menu, and they took our order right away. Salad bar had everything you could want on it and 2 different soups, which were both delicious! Our food was delivered before we could even finish our salads! No long wait, which was amazing considering they were so busy. Husband got haddock and fries and said it was very good. I had the ribeye and loaded baked potato. It was a little thinner cut than what I've had at other places but it was very good. I would have preferred it a little more seasoned & a bit more charred, but it still tasted very good and I had quite a bit to take home (made for awesome breakfast the next day with eggs 😋). Our server was awesome! She checked back often making sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything else. Had a great conversation with her about her raising and showing her chickens (they sell farm fresh eggs and I wanted some but they were sold out) that's how we got on the topic. Very pleasant and friendly. All the servers were on top of it from what we saw. Great job! Food was hot, as it should be, not just warm or cold like what I usually end up being served at other places. Had an enjoyable time and great tasting supper on my last day of vacation! Will definitely be going back again, and bringing family next time!

We simply googled Black Creek Supper Club and discovered Geno’s. Read a few reviews and decided it sounded very nice, but the truth is we found it to be extraordinary! Excellent service, the food was wonderful and cocktails were a delight. Great value and we’d definitely visit again. It was a full house on a Wednesday night in the middle of farm country…that alone will tell you it’s a destination even for locals. So glad we found you!

We decided to try something new, and with all the amazing reviews, we were hoping the 45 min drive would be worth it. Unfortunately, it wasn't. We ordered the tenderloin and cajun haddock & the 16 oz ribeye. Steaks were cooked correctly but had absolutely no flavor. And the cajun haddock was flavorless as well. Although a few bites ot my tenderloin I could taste something like Old Bay Seasoning. Our server was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and definitely left more than 20% .
Hoping it was just an off night for the kitchen because it seems the a really neat place

Chicken was average for broasted, Prime Rib was way below average.
To top it off, a large, clearly overserved and obnoxious group of ladies was brought from the bar and seated adjacent to us and repeatedly dipped into our quiet conversation. My 8 year old who is very rambunctious even commented on how loud and "misbehaving" they were.
While I understand times to be tough, I can speak for my group and the group behind us that none of us will be back anytime soon. Catering to rude, obnoxious and extremely intoxicated guests is a choice that all too often results in that being the only groups a place can attract.
In regards to the reply, I have not deleted and reposted an identical review any amount of times. Google does request some reviewers update or affirm prior reviews from time to time which if not ignored does renew the review. I'll make a point to ignore this request going forward. Best wishes, C

Arrived and they were very busy inside was able to get a seat at the bar right away and the bartenders did a great job serving in a timely maner placed our order for the 4 of us and were seated at the table in about 20 minutes salad bar was perfectly stocked and main course was done perfect and our server was right on top of drinks and things cant say thank you enough to make a great dining experience for us being first time there for a 28 yr anniversary dinner will be back often worth the hour drive
