On Thursday, June 26th, we arrived around 5:30 PM.
They were extremely busy.
Between 20 to 25 guests.

There is one cook and one waitress.

The waitress is from another restaurant, where she works the grill at that location.
She is taking orders by hand (not using the tablet) because she doesn't work the register.
She had been trying to call other employees, including the owner, Joan, for help.
Which she had been instructed to do.
And people are not answering their phones.
Which, if you are not scheduled, you shouldn't have to take calls.

However, when you are the owner, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to take calls 24/7, 365 days a year.

Shame on Joan for throwing her employees under the bus!

If you can't handle the heat in the kitchen, it's time to get out.

Thank you to Mary and Ryan for working through this messed-up situation.

Nostalgia wins! We stopped in because I was so surprised to see a real George Webb's, especially one that was open! The staff was small, only one woman server and one man cooking. But they knocked it out and everyone was getting food fast and everyone seemed content. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. The omelette, chili, and hash browns were classic GW. We definitely wanna come back, it just takes you right back to better days before the internet or before covid. I'm so glad that this GW exists. Cozy nostalgia at its best. And everything tasted great. Who needs Waffle House? This is Wisconsin. We love our GW.

OMGGGGG….. Just had their steak sandwich and it was 🔥!!! I’ve had this at another location before and it was good, but not this good lol and served on regular toast bread instead of the roll. This was seasoned perfect, perfect temperature on steaks, the right bread and just fantastic.. Seriously, hats off to the cook and the kind waitress for an amazing meal.

I’ve been coming here for 9 years since I moved into the area. Through staff changes, busy or slow, the quality of service and food has never changed. This is my favorite webbs in the area, to the point I never go to any other one anymore because they’re just MEH!! The lady server who has been here for a long time is quiet and sweet, the cooks are kind and incredible, and it it very clear the people who own and run this place have kept it well loved.

Thank you for being a staple of this community, and a gathering spot for me and mines. Y’all are the best!

Came in with almost no customers, sat there for over 15 mins no coffee, no one even looked in my direction. I told a waitress I’d like to order some food, she says yeah I see that, then walks away to complain to the cook about an order from 3 hours prior that needed to be rang up a certain way, then walks back past me and asks the couple that was already finished if they needed anything. She then walked by again and started a conversation with another employee, I have limited time on lunch so wasted my lunch. Hire someone better than rude old Hags.

Something about George Webbs is so classic, with a Wisconsin diner atmosphere. It's not exactly cheap, but the experience of sitting in an old-fashioned webbs diner is a part of what you're paying for. Burgers ate uniquely theirs, which is good in their own way.

In response to the recent review written by Phil I...
Phil, you forgot to mention that it was after you and friend, both finished your meals that you asked for a refund. After the server said she would not refund your money you were both rude and yelled obscenities as you left the restaurant. Also, after you left you tried to come back in yelling. That is when the server locked the doors on you. Instead of leaving for good both of you tried to gain entry to the restaurant through their back door. When you didn't succeed at coming in through the back, both of you vandalized the restaurants property by smashing the flowers, throwing and breaking the garbage can and chairs. Numerous customers saw what both of you did, not to mention recorded your obscene behavior. The employees at this restaurant are awesome and so is the food. How dare you write that review after how you acted and what you did. All you were doing was trying to get a free meal and when the server wouldn't refund your money, you got mad and acted like morons! Shame on you!

DO NOT GO HERE! THERE COOKS ARE TRASH AT WHAT THEY DO AND THEY ARE THEIVES! I went for breakfast and they didn't cook my egg how I ordered it, the sausage was also awful and there were egg shells in my egg. I told them I didn't like the meal and they said that since I ate most of it I had to pay for it. I said okay and paid with my card. THEY CHARGED $31.05 FOR ONE MEAL! Then they locked the door and called the cops when I tried to go back. This place needs to be shut down and the staff need to be taken off the streets or at least out of the service industry. Terrible place, do not find yourself there by any means.

One star for EVERYTHING!. I had a HORRIBLE experience. I’ve been to this George Webbs numerous of times and I’ve never had an issue until now. I order some food to go for my family and I and the wait was extremely long. Once I received my order I saw how everything was thrown into the bag. My steak (which looked half cooked) was shoved into a small container which is unacceptable. My eggs and hash browns were cold and the hamburger and chicken sandwich were just thrown into a container. I politely asked the manager for a refund and his automatic response was “I’m not giving you a refund. There’s nothing wrong with the food” after we went back and forth a bit I handed him the receipt and he aggressively snatched the receipt from my hand and began to threaten to call the cops all because I simply asked for a refund. By me being a young man of color, I felt completely offended and uncomfortable. He eventually gave me my refund back. After that experience I most definitely WILL NOT be going back to that George Webbs. And please be advised I noticed that one of the cooks was handling and touching people’s food bare hands without any gloves.

I haven't been to George Webb's in ages, years and years. I had a hankering for chili cuz, as I remembered it, it was just so good! I ordered some chili and it was delicious just like I remembered.
Our server was wonderful and I tipped her well. Then I realized I tipped her twice. She rang up our ticket on which I added the tip. Then she entered our ticket on the tablet so I gave her a nice tip twice. I can't really afford that but it's over and done with.

Jessica was our server today and she was wonderful! We’ve never had the root beer poured into the glass for us before! 12/10 service. This Webb’s is the only one I come to not only for the service but the consistent quality. Jessica is a GREAT server, very attentive, kind, and personable. She is absolutely an indispensable asset to this location… can’t wait to come back to town again just to see her!
