Lazy waitress. All condiments were empty. Prices too high plus they charged a 15 percent service fee on top of their high price. For a small burger, hash browns, small onion rings, and a small drink was over $20. What a shame! The food was not good and not what I remember as a kid.

Went in for my free burger for the Brewers 12-win promo. Waiter/counter-person barely acknowledged me. I don't expect too much of a greeting at a Webb's but he got my order right. Now, before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s talk about the star of the show: our waitress. We’ll call her *Delores*, because that feels right. Delores isn’t just a waitress; she’s a one-woman talk show with no commercial breaks. You came here to eat? Cute. Delores came here to *discuss*. What, exactly? Well, the menu, for starters. But not in the “what would you like?” kind of way—more in the “let me tell you what you should order and also why our omelet choices are a metaphor for my ex-husband” kind of way.

And then there’s the television. Some restaurants keep the volume down, let the ambiance do the work. Not here. The TV is on, and Delores has OPINIONS. Sports? Too loud. News? Too depressing. A rerun of *Friends*? “Ugh, I never liked Ross.” And just like that, the channel changes, and you, dear customer, are now watching a documentary about the migratory habits of Canadian geese because Delores says, and I quote, “At least they have direction.”

The food? Ah, the food. It’s everything you expect from a place that’s open 24 hours and still somehow makes you wait to be seated. Greasy, satisfying, and roughly the same caliber as what you’d get at a Waffle House, which is to say: delicious at 2 a.m., questionable at noon. The coffee is hot, the hashbrowns are crispy, and the burgers are exactly what they need to be—cheap, tasty, and just mysterious enough to keep things interesting.

And let’s not forget Delores’s passion for *A-Treat* soda. If you haven’t heard of it, don’t worry—she’ll tell you everything. The history, the flavors, why it’s better than whatever you’re drinking, and how it single-handedly got her through a rough patch in ‘98. She might even pull up a chair and crack one open with you.

Now, let’s talk facilities. The bathrooms? Immaculate. Suspiciously so. You almost feel like you should tip the janitor. And once you *do* get seated, the service is fast, as if they know you might change your mind if given too much time to think.

George Webb in Wauwatosa: where the prices are great, the food is decent, the service is... *an experience*, and Delores is both your waitress and your unsolicited life coach. Would I come back? Of course. But next time, I’m bringing my own remote.

Placed an online order today October 24th 2024. I order from this location all the time. Went inside to grab my order, I was happy, & the sun was shining. Get inside the store greeted the front desk staff. There's this old African American woman with glasses, and a burgundy wig on that gave me the hardest time with my order.Normally, when I pick up my order the staff ask for my last four digits of my phone number. So, I tell this woman I'm picking up my online order and gave her my last four digits, she immediately says, "naw we don't take phone numbers" so me being nice, I give her my name, then she asked for my number, whispered to another restaurant staff that I don't have my phone & I need my phone to pick up my order...I start talking to the other staff member, saying I never had a problem picking up my order, why is it a problem now, I always come to this same location, & I know the old lady is new, but I'm sure she knows better... However, I gotten my order and was really pissed at this lady behavior. Before she gave me my order, I told her my name and number & would've provided my ID... Typical, & as long as she's working there, I will NOT be back...🤬🤬🤬

They gave us FREE bacon! I'm sorry, but I don't know how life gets any better than the bacon man walking around giving you free bacon. I tried to get a pile from him – I mean, who wouldn't? But I settled for 2 pieces. I'm not selfish, guys, come on! The service was sort of lacking, especially since there weren't that many people in the restaurant. But FREE bacon, so... and the food was pretty darn good too. I would definitely go back. Just a heads up, though – the bacon man isn't always there. He's a traveling man and goes to other restaurants as well. So you'll have to be lucky to catch him. He's like a free bacon-giving superhero! 🤷‍♀️

We were visiting the area from out of state and were looking for a quick lunch. George Webb has a good reputation so we stopped in here. We were waited on very quickly after being seated. I like breakfast anytime of day even though it was mid-afternoon. The food came quickly and was Fresh Off The grill. The scrambled eggs were perfect, not burnt, and the hash browns were very tasty. The bacon was crisp and not chewy, the ham was grilled nicely, and the Sausages were very tasty also. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable and we were glad we stopped by. Based on this experience, I'm sure we will drop into another George Webb Diner sometime.

My family and I attempted to order take out from this location after the fireworks on 7/4/23 at about 12am. Mind you we were starving! Walk up to the door it’s locked with a sign that says No dine in (while customers inside eating) call in orders only w/a phone # that was not in service. It was 1 number off(purposely). I looked the number up online and call. Lady answers we looking at her through the window from the car as we attempt to order. I asked if we could come inside and order so we could see the menu.
