Great service and food. Visited for a late lunch on a Saturday. Our server was amazing, he was super friendly and helpful. Ordered a salad and the chicken wild rice soup. The salad was chock full of all kinds of yummy ingredients. The soup was some of the best I’ve ever had, super thick and creamy with huge pieces of tender chicken. Long Island ice tea was delicious. Brought a pizza home to the family and they said it was great. Would definitely go back!

I would like to start this with, it wasn’t our waitress fault because their job is to follow the establishments rules. However our “group” reserved this space a week in advance, not the same day. There was plenty of time to get enough staff set up to take care of everyone in a timely manner. However we show up and there is 1 person to take care of us, 4 people at the bar and maybe 30 other people in the restaurant. No one helped our waitress get things done in a timely manner and we waited over two hours to get food.. this I can be semi understanding of being she was alone and from what I could tell not experienced in her position but what I am not understanding of is when we go to check out we get a bill with an automatic 20% for groups larger then 10 when we had 5 of us but be a we were part of a larger group. It took 2 hours to get our food and it wasn’t even hot when it came out. It was brought to their attention, we did get an apology because obviously no one wants to give subpar service but to still be charged the 20% after all of that is asinine. I would gladly leave an appropriate tip, always. But to be forced after our experience is not ok. We will not be back to this establishment and it’s unfortunate because it could really be a great place. I hope our 20% went to our waitress and the kitchen crew only.

Pull tabs at this location are a scam!!! We asked if all winners were reflected on the sign. The bartender said yes. We bought out a box that had $5000 left of winners. Scratching all tabs, we won just over $250. We went to the bartender and inquired why we had only won $250 when over $5000 was shown still on the sign. The first bartender told us that it was because they didn’t have all the pulltabs out in the machine. The second bartender said it was because sometimes adults give the tabs to kids and winners get lost. Are you serious?!?! While gambling comes with risk, the owners shouldn’t swindle people like this and this seems incredibly dishonest and illegal!!!! We will be reporting this fraud so others don’t get scammed!!!

I've been in New Richmond for 4 years and never went here. Looked at it online and the prices seemed way too high. Finally decided to take my daughter's here to go bowling and did a package deal where you get a pizza and pop in 2 hours of bowling. Saw a sign right away that said they were going to put 20% automatically on me because I picked up the package. (I really didn't like seeing that right away) The whole time we were there we didn't have an actual server or anything that would warrant forcing a 20% tip. Our lane shut down after 1 hour and so had to go get it turned back on. Our lane malfunctioned a couple times and then before we were done with our second game the bumpers for my girls went down in the middle of her role and the lane shut off. A kid came over and told us we had to move cuz there was a birthday part! (Even though we had reservations, freaking shut the game off in the middle of a throw!) At that point I was fed up and done anyways. Went to turn in shoes and no one said a word or anything. I literally could have just walked right out without paying and a part of me wishes I would have but I'm not like that. I told him I didn't pay and I was waiting to see if 20% was added on and it wasn't thankfully because there's no way I was going to pay it. Won't be returning here ever. Is so not worth the money.

So sad, I had so hoped Gibby’s would have been a good restaurant as we need more in New Richmond. Terrible service . Treated like aliens when we sat at a table and waited for a server. Brought 4 boys to bowl for the afternoon. Purchased the family fun package for $69.99 2 hrs of bowling,pizza, pop. The lane jammed 3 times, additional time was added for the delay each time it jammed that they had to wait for staff. Staff was courteous and helpful. Upon check out my bill totaled $92.15. No additional purchases were made these were fees and gratuity; which should not have been automatically added as those was NOT a Birthday party. Unless they have a general policy of adding gratuity over a certain amount. I understand alot of places do this, just dosnt expect it here.

I stopped bowling here years ago because it was so overpriced. Decided to order food here because the other 2 restaurants in this town are getting old. $66 to feed two people. What’s with the hidden charges? If you charge a delivery fee, you have to tell me that before hand. If you charge gratuity automatically, you have to tell me before hand, so I don’t give an extra tip to your driver. Your food tastes like it came from the frozen food section at Walmart, and you microwaved it. Why are you charging so much? I’d get better quality food at McDonald’s. I ordered the cheese curds pictured in your menu. But you gave me what looked like a block of cheese that was cut into cubes.

The Food and Pizza was great. The Lanes on the approach were sticky just like glue and extremely dangerous. A friend of mine rents his knee came to a sudden stop because you can't slide up to the foul line. Which made the whole day of bowling not very fun at all. I would never bowl there unless those approaches are repaired or fixed to where a person can actually slide and release the ball properly. The best thing about it was the food

Great atmosphere, great food, fun bowling, clean place. I am giving 3 stars because we seemed to get charged for refills on pop, which we didn't know ahead of time. Also, we paid .75 for a side of ranch, which they never gave with the meal. I didn't realize we had been charged for this until I got home. Music was fairly loud in the bar, pretty hard to hear each other. Other than that, food was very good, staff friendly when they came by. They were fairly busy when we were there so perhaps that was the cause of the few hiccups.

Went for a kids bday party. Not sure what was worse, the fact the bartenders have no idea how to multi task and handle more the one customer. Or if it was the $9 side of fries my kid ordered... Wait I know it's the $6 ATM charge to get cash.. I assure you these are the same frozen fries everyone gets but apparently since it came out of gibbys kitchen they are truly golden French fries. This does explain how the owner can afford that beautiful new home, it's too bad he didn't opt for 1 less jacuzzi tub so normal people could afford gas the following day after visiting his establishment. Service is so hit or miss. Bowling is fun when someone actually acknowledges your existence and sets you up.
My husband and I went on Labor Day to go bowling and no one was at the bar or bowling counter. So we waited. The bartenders came back from behind the bowling alley at 6:18 and went right to work. We were patient, thinking they needed to catch up with customers/tabs. They made eye contact with us so they knew we were there.
We waited 12 minutes for help. Both bartenders walked by us, helped new customers, and just ignored us at the blowing counter. We walked out at 6:30.
We never got a "hi just a minute" "I can help you here" or even a "hi". When we were walking out, I told my husband watch, they won't say bye or anything. They didn't. No "sorry", no "bye have a nice night", or anything.
It's fine, we just won't give them our money if they don't want customers.

Edit: you can watch the cameras, no one even said hi. No one waited on us. We waited TWELVE minutes without even a "hi". We won't be back. There won't be a next experience for us.

Had 12 people over and rented 4 lanes for 2 hours @ $25 an hour. Had drinks and pizzas only. There was no wait staff. We had to go and get our own drinks, place and pickup our own orders. There was no slide on lanes (sticky) and when asked if they would clean them for us, they stated that they do not clean them during summer. I used to love coming here, first of all you guys need to update your hours, I understand that you can’t change your hours online but at least make sure your phone number works so I can call before hand, went straight to dile tone and just to make sure it wasn’t my phone service I had three other people call you guys and still the same. So I was like okay there line must be busy, drove 45 minutes there just to be told that the person working shut down all the lanes and that she called last shot my boyfriend came all the way from tennessee and we were excited to do the $8 night bowling you guys have on sunday’s, we thought it would at least be open until 12, we got there at 10. The toppings where under the cheese. That makes it unders, not toppings. I hate that. The pizza was also cut in squares. I don't eat pizza with a fork. So how do you grab a center piece without touching the cheese? You can't.

There's not much in New Richmond for food. There's even less that's worth paying for. The food at this place did not meet the price. It's pretty basic stuff and even that was screwed up. Burger I got was drenched in caramelized onions to the point of absurdity and the only reason we really ordered from the place was the mini donuts. Guess what they forgot to deliver ...😑 Yeah. So,we call back and they act upset they have to get us the donuts *they*forgot. We ordered from this place more than once( again , there's not much in New Richmond, WI). Maybe it was a fluke we thought. They have good ratings we said.Exact same thing happened.We call back, they begrudgingly bring us the order they forget. Again. I hate to leave a negative review and this place clearly doesn't address those (and that alone should speak for itself) but service today was absolutely horrible. Short story: got in at 130, ordered drinks and food and after watching everyone else around us come in and order, eat and leave, we finally got our food but they missed food for several people in our party. 2 hours in and after multiple servers asking if we needed anything and we explained that 3 people never got their food they finally deliver to 2 of them but in the end my daughter never got her chicken wrap. The guy behind the bar even said yeah it is back there would you like it to go and it never arrived. They brought out tickets out with the tip line crossed out already...I mean...that is way strange. Needless to say this is beyond bad business. We spent over 2 hours there after ordering and still didn't get the food we ordered. To be fair the food that did arrive was really good and we were happy with that but the service and attention to just basic details was abysmal. Lack of attention on the guy behind the bars perspective...he was our initial contact and he literally punted it off into the distance. No thanks will never be back. Please respond!
