Brought my father to enjoy the restaurant for the first time. The service was slow but typical for a Friday evening, more than likely. The food was decent besides the 2nd to last bite… a broken part of a plastic straw was in the dish. Ickkk! Our waitress brought it forward to the management’s attention & the resolution was to take $5 off the meal. Not impressed. On our way out, the hostess inquired about how our experience was & we’re apologetic but obviously no further action.

Very disappointed. The bun was stale on my Chicago dog. Her meal was supposed to be a pasta dish, but was mostly a mass of cheese, sauce and a small amount of broken up spaghetti. The cheese garlic bread didn't have a lot of garlic on it. Please take that with a grain of salt because I like a LOT of garlic on my food. The breads sticks and tomato sauce served with them were good.

We are the Chicago pizza. It was as close to Giordano's in Chicago as we have ever had. It was Double Bubble, we your second drink was free. Because it was our anniversary (54th), we were given a brownie dessert with whipped cream and a little candle. How sweet is that! Excellent place to eat.

My wife and I came here on new years to get some food, and were treated to a 45 minute wait. When we were seated, the waitress was fairly speedy with serving us (it was a busy night), however we waited another 45 minutes for our food. When we got our food, it was lukewarm like it had been sitting on the kitchen counter for the past 20 minutes. My seafood Alfredo was off, and I ended up getting food poisoning from the shrimp, and spent the next day throwing it all back up. 0/10 do not recommend at all.

We put in an order to cater our wedding a few months ago. They gave us metal containers to hold up the pasta. They were too big so the entire pasta containers were falling out and spilled juice everywhere. We had to put forks on the edges so our food wouldn’t dump. The food was okay. The seafood Alfredo lacked seasoning and tasted different from when we went in the restaurant to eat. Probably won’t get catering from here again it was kind of disappointing.

We came in at around 730, an hour before close. We were greeted and seated immediately. It wasn't too busy, but we hadn't realized it was because they were about to close. Our waitress was wonderful. She was polite, quick, personable, and overall a joy to interact with. The food was okay. The bread sticks themselves were a little bland, but with the Mariana they were great. The garlic butter was needs more garlic (I like garlic). I ordered chicken deavola and my husband ordered baked spaghetti and meatballs. My chicken deavola was quite good, not too spicy and a lot of vegetables. The baked spaghetti and meatballs was exactly as described, it was good. We got a piece of the 7 layers sin cake to go. The restaurant was clean and tidy. They have a rewards program now that's free, so thats cool - we didn't have to give out our information, they just gave us a rewards card so it was quite nice. We will be coming back.

It's been difficult finding time to patronize post COVID! Upon enyering that nostalgia reminded me of why i loved this place so much. Basil filled my nostrils as we were sat. Our server Maddie, was incredible! And before you say, "yeah that's what shes paid to do!" her interactions were professional yet witty, attentive yet playful. the food was HOT (just the way I enjoy it best)! First time visitor with my daughters. The Chicago style deep dish pizza here is exactly what it’s supposed to be, with gobs of stringy cheese! I also got 5 other toppings, and did not feel that any of them were skimped upon. The bottom of the crust was a tad soggy, but that is kinda to be expected with the moisture from the awesome amount of cheese! Service was a bit slow, especially being seated, but was otherwise very good. Atmosphere was typical old school ‘80’s cozy dim Italian with tons of old Chicago photos adorning the walls. Complimentary bread sticks and sauce was also a plus. Wish their hours went a bit later. I would definitely return here again when in town!

The best pizza 😚 I love Gino's, the food is so good. However, their waitstaff needs to step it up. We were seated, and waited over 15 minutes to even be acknowledged by our waitress LuAnn. While we waited she was lounging by other tables chatting. When it came time to box our leftovers, she wanted to cram my pizza into a styrofoam container instead of a pizza box. Not good service 😞

We had a wonderful dining experience with friends. From the warm greeting we received from Jan, to the bartender, our server Heather and the amazing food, our night out was very enjoyable. I asked if I could order a shrimp entree that was not on the menu but had been served as a special for Valentine's Day and Jack was very accommodating in having the dish prepared for me. Ginos is a great family restraunt that has very good food, a wonderful/comfortable atmosphere, and the employees really care about you. I take my children here on occasion for a family tradition. We will go on Sunday for the 1/2 pizza which is delicious and they also get the garden salad. They have had some trials in recent years and I am grateful they are still authentic with all these qualities and going strong.

For being a Thursday evening the restaurant wasn't really busy. But it took forever after waiting to be seated to get a drink menu. Then the table next to us were so loud that we couldn't enjoy our time or our meal so we took it to go. I don't think the other people around us could enjoy their time either. My son ended up with a migraine from the loud party that seemed like they had one too many too drink!! Normally stuff like that doesn't bother us but this was my son's first time here and we expected a little bit Better Service and Quieter Atmosphere!!
