There was the coolest person ever serving drinks, and he made my first time ever at a Golden Corral awesome. Dancing, singing, and super attentive. I didn't catch his name but his vibe was immaculate. The food was really good, too. Big fan, felt very welcome, will definitely be back.

Food isn't as good as it used to be. Pot roast was way over done. Serve spoons were missing from some dishes, think because the containers were refilled but serve utensils were removed and not replaced. Service was so so, servers could refrain from singing with music that was being played on speakers. Males singing female sons out loud was a bit off. Atmosphere was off key also as most empty tables had crumbs on them. It took us 4 tries and I finally had to wipe the one we used myself.

Decided to give this place another try after years of avoiding it at all costs, and it actually has gotten worse. Dirty dishes at the buffet start it off, then the food looks as if it has been sitting for hours. Dining room is dingy and carpet is sticky. Bathrooms are filthy!! For the cost, this is not acceptable. I will not be suprised to see this place shuttered in the next year.

If I could rate everything a zero besides the service I would. The only plus to this experience was we did get offered refills on drinks and how things were going. However, the food was gross and dry. Majority of the food (specifically refried beans) was crusted over and hard to the pans, cold, or way too mushy. Steaks were grey/brown BEFORE even being cooked (as if they were oxidized and sat out too long). Paid $18 a person for a group of friends to have a fun experience which ended up with none of us being able to finish one plate. Will NOT be returning.

Depending on the staff this place is either amazing or awful. There's been times when the food was bad, service was horrible. Good luck getting refills, dirty and unkept from the tables to the floors. But there's been many more times when it was a great experience. There's a few good staff members but the one that just really takes the cake. I feel bad saying this but I don't know his name after all this time but he's the black guy. He is so unbelievably attentive, when he sees someone coming with young children he's already running over with a high chair. There's refills on your drink when your current drink is half gone. He is just so funny to! Besides his personality, and jokes he's also a singer lol. He is truly a one man show and is awesome entertainment. I have no idea what his wage is but he isn't making enough lol. This guy needs a show of his own with his comedy and singing honestly! I really hope this message gets back to him, he really makes that place and I can't thank him enough for the outstanding service and performance he puts on whenever we see him!

love GC. Appleton GC is disgusting, Food temperature "almost" made it into the luke warm level. Yeast buns weren't fresh, warm and squishy like they used to be in Oshkosh. Butter didnt even melt on the mashed potatoes. Food in general was disgusting in appearance, temperature and taste. Used the restroom and only center of floor is clean. Walls in bathroom stalls were sticky. Never again will I patronize GC if this is their new standard. No pride is taken in Appleton location. And yes I politely let server know the temperature of food. I ended up with diarrhea shortly after eating.

Showed up at 8:00 am on 3/9 and the whole staff looked very unorganized except for the lady cutting fruit and vegetables. She was the only one that looked like she knew what she was supposed to be doing!
Decided to try this place a second time on Easter Sunday, not any better! Watched the guy in red shirt that works there touch the soles of his shoes and wipe his nose, then walk over and get some of the plastic cups for sauces! Gravy is watered down! Food was barely warm at best! Horrible place!

We have eaten at Golden Corral numerous times. It’s one of the only American food buffets around Appleton. The last time we ate here, which will probably be the last time ever, we witnessed something so disgusting that I don’t think we can ever get over. We were just about finished with our meal. Our table put us in the sightline of the restrooms. One of the employees who was staffing the meat cutting station walked into the restroom with his food service gloves on. After the appropriate amount of time to void his bladder he came back out of the restroom…still wearing his food service gloves. Not a big deal if he took them off after leaving the restroom and washing his hands before staffing his station again, but nope, he walked right back to the meat cutting station and continued to serve customers. Sooooooo gross, makes you wonder what other hygiene practices get ignored.
