I ordered the Country Benedict with hashbrowns, HOLY DELICIOUS! The biscuits were fluffy, the sausage was on point, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the sausage gravy was absolutely tasty (I had to ask for more), and the hashbrowns were seasoned and cooked just right. I can't wait to go back and try more items on their menu. Ima give this place 9 out of 10.

Welcome to the neighborhood! The ladies in my family wanted a nice quiet spot to meet up for breakfast, and we tried this on a whim.

I highly recommend you come here, immediately! The shop is gorgeous, view is lovely. So many careful touches around the shop that create a wonderful mood, right down to the birds nest light fixtures!

Service was impeccable. Wait staff was knowledgeable of the menu and offered bright, warm service. Food arrived quickly, was fresh, and tasted scrumptious. I had the vanilla bread pudding French toast and a side of corn beef hash. It was DIVINE. Perfect custard texture, not overly sweet. I’ll be back for that dish, and they apparently rotate flavors! Nom.

My MIL ordered the lemon berry pancakes and loved those. My aunt had the biscuit and gravy bowl, which was enough for two meals, plenty of leftovers!

Wonderful experience all around. 11/10 will absolutely be back.

We had a phenomenal experience at Golden Nest Pancake and Cafe. We waited for roughly 15 minutes on an incredibly busy Sunday morning which I thought was more than appropriate for a peak time. The portion sizes were well worth the cost of each dish. I have never looked at a menu where I wanted to try every single thing before looking at their menu: fresh juices, coffee drinks, scrambles, pancakes, etc. I am gluten free and still had plenty of choices to choose from; however, I am not sure of the cross contamination, so remain vigilant when ordering.

The experience I appreciated the most was after my 2-year old daughter accidentally kicked her plate of pancakes on the floor. Within seconds, the staff came up and cleaned it up and the manager offered to replace the meal for free. Thankfully, it was nearly finished and my daughter didn't need more, but it was still an incredible gesture. Will definitely come back as a routine brunch date spot.

Came on a busy Sunday with party of six, wait time was about 20minutes, definitely reasonable.
Our server was very nice and amiable, she did forget my side order…but when the meal arrived it turned out to be a lucky thing because I would’ve had way too much food, so it worked out positively. And she did offer to run back and get my side asap if I had wanted it. Very nicely appointed interior. Our first grader really had fun watching the server robot wheel around bringing food out to different tables.

Food portions were very good. Got the pancake flight, I chose: cinnamon roll pancake, lemon-berry pancake, strawberry cheesecake pancake. The cinnamon roll was unreal. Strawberry was good. The lemon-berry was ok.
The omelettes looked great. The mimosa flight was very good. As was the Bloody Mary flight.

My only reservation: the prices are higher than say a breakfast diner, for example. The food was good and was worth the price, albeit at the higher end of a price range I’d deem realistic for breakfast meal. Slipping the drinks would definitely have helped reduce the final bill.

All in all definitely worth a visit.

Everything was top tier. Benny is a fantastic host that made us feel really appreciated! Started with the bloody Mary flight and it was perfect for a couple. Breakfast was second to none! This is a absolute fantastic place for breakfast! Hadn't realized Oshkosh got another breakfast place and so glad they did. I went on Labor Day so I am sure it was a little busier for a weekday than normal but there were still plenty of seats. I ended up sitting at the bar since it was just myself. Started with the Bloody flight and the only one I didn't care for was the Scandinavian one made with Aquavit (potato liquor from Scandinavia). The house bloody was awesome so that will probably be my go to but the offering of a flight was great.

For the food I got the Brisket Eggs Benedict and French toast. The Benedict was delicious. Never knew brisket and hollandaise worked well together but it was a perfect pairing. The French toast was delicious as well.

This will definitely become one of my regular spots to get breakfast.

Located in a strip mall on highway 21 just east of highway 41,, this is a really nice spot. Airy, spacious, clean with ultra friendly staff. Lots of options, from ultra healthy (bowls of berries) to ultra fatty. ((braided deep fried chicken tenders with biscuits topped with Hollandaise). They allow you to substitute fresh fruit for potatoes!

I had the wild mushroom omelette accompanied by fresh fruit and multigrain toast. The omelette was packed with mushrooms, cooked to perfection. The toast, which I requested dry, was served with a side of whipped butter. The fruit was freesh cantaloupe, grapes and pineapple. Good coffee.

If you have the chance to eat at The Golden Nest, take advantage of that golden opportunity! I was charmed by the retro diner vibe with the up-to-date decor, including artful golden nest light fixtures.

I enjoyed the Sweet And Savory Omelette. Very tasty, although perhaps a tad too sweet for breakfast. It consists of Smoked Bacon, Dried Figs, Havarti Cheese folded inside fluffy eggs, topped with Fig Honey Conserve. Personally, I might enjoy it more for lunch. Next time I'm in town, I want to try the Wild Mushroom Omelette, maybe with sausage on the side.

With tip, I paid $25 for the omelette, delicious hashed browns, and a generously large cup of coffee. That's more than I expect to pay for breakfast. But, I could have ordered something less expensive here, and this was a treat.

My waitress respected my time constraints, as I had to leave sooner than I had planned for work reasons. She was kind enough to give me a to/go cup of coffee, in addition to the regular cup with my meal. She more than earned her tip.

This was highly disappointing. The food was not good at all I ordered a poutine which clearly stated the cheese curds were a big part of the dish and it came with two little globs of melted cheese on it. In addition to not having any real butter for use.
The atmosphere is cute but extremely loud, with echo talking and loud obnoxious music playing, it’s stressful making conversation nearly impossible and it’s difficult to hear your server. It’s probably a good place if you have a bunch of kiddos and don’t at all care about the health of your food or if you are fine with not getting what is described on the menu.
The staff was friendly, the service was fast but I cannot overall recommend this establishment if you want a nice breakfast out.

So I thought I’d take the kids to breakfast today. It was 4 adults and 8 year old. I thought we would try something new. Food was just ok. Atmosphere was nice, service was good. My friend & I tried it for the first time this morning & it didn't disappoint. Service was great, food & drinks came out quickly. Large portions. My friend got the mimosa flight & the Veggie Bowl. I got the white chocolate mocha, Strawberry Bellini mimosa, & banana/Nutella pancakes. Everything was so good. Our server was Eve & she was so nice. We visited Osh Kosh this weekend and this restaurant was walking distance from our hotel. What luck!!! It was not only delicious food, friendly and excellent service, aesthetically beautiful inside, but my absolute favorite part-there’s a little robot that brings your food out! So nothing sits in the kitchen to get cold. And it’s neat! My kids and I tried a pancake flight and we can’t decide which flavor was our favorite because they were all so good. Avocado toast had great flavor! Their sourdough bread was delish. So good and lots of choices. We left my son and the fellas up there at the Air Show and I know they will be coming in this week for more! I’m jealous!

Stopped in for breakfast on Sunday just after 10 a.m. Our first time there and we will definitely be back! Decor is bright and airy, service was very good (both people and robotic) and the menu choices include some standard Oshkosh breakfast/lunch alternatives, but also, thankfully, some other selections that bring a desperately needed fresh perspective to the usual eatery fare for this city. Bar choices include flights of creative Bloodies and Mimosas sure to spur conversation and some lip smacking. Husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and have a bead on what we want to order next visit which will be soon. Finally, a restaurant with real promise!!

You must have the pancakes, substitute them for toast if you have the option, or try one of the many cake-only meals. When subbing for toast they're the perfect size. Pancakes are on the name of the building and they're done perfectly with some fun add-ons. I recommend the chocolate chips as they add some flavor without taking away from the cakes themselves and you can skip overdoing the syrup (which is very watery just the way it should be).

This place is very nice and new. The prices are on the high side. I ordered the Butcher choice omelet with hash browns. My wife had another omelet. Hers was great according to her. My omelet was overcooked. I had 2 bites and Could not eat any more. I devoured the hash browns. I went to the bathroom and came back and My wife told me that the waitress came back to check and she told her that I was dissatisfied with the omelet. She stated that she would inform management. So we sat at the table about 15 minutes waiting for the check. I flagged down the waitress and she asked if the manager has stopped by the table. She had not. At this point I asked for the check once again. Again we waited for about 5 minutes. We received the check and paid the full amount of the bill. It appears that they didn't have time to come over to our table to discuss the food. They instead let us wait for about 15 minutes until we where frustrated enough to just leave. A great addition to Oshkosh. Love the upscale feel of the decorations, and the food was absolutely amazing! Got the South of the Border bowl and it was fresh and light while still being filling enough I had to take some home. Our server Kourttnie was phenomenal, she was attentive and friendly, and clearly experienced. I’m so impressed and will definitely be making this a regular breakfast stop.
