Good Eats is an absolute gem!
I'm a foodie and breakfast connoisseur and owner Jim & the extremely polite staff have this restaurant dialed in! Amazing organic eggs and they source their coffee from the finest regions in the world and roast it in-house. I highly recommend Good Eats to anyone looking for high quality ingredients accompanied by rockstar service!

Very slow service. Avocado toast was terrible. Cold toast, barely seasoned avocado and four cold (not roasted as described) cherry tomatoes. Husband described his omelette as mediocre. Certainly not worth the $$. Coffee was good, but we won’t be back.

I’ll start with this, the coffee is excellent! Breakfast was mediocre. $42 for 2 of us 😳 I just had eggs, toast, dry chicken sausage and toast. The servers were nice and the place was clean. The price of the food was a bit much though. The owner parks expensive cars outside to market the place. I’d rather have better priced food than showy cars.

This was our first visit. I ordered the Brisket Benedict! It was one of the most delicious brunches I have ever had. The serving was enormous and so delicious! I had a hot Chia Tea, which was delicious and a large serving as well. Our waiter was amazing and the meals were prepared quickly, beautifully and delicious! We will certainly be back on a regular basis!! We highly recommended this little gem.

First time here. Its part of a stripmall shopping center. Just down from a Pic and Save. Plenty of parking out front. They have a patio area out front with the entrance right in the middle . The space is bright and nicely decorated. Got a spot right in front of some large windows.

Arrived right as they opened on a Monday morning. We were the only table, but a few other people came afterwards. Our server (Miguel) got to us right away, waters, menus, and hot beverages. He made me a London Fog which was "okay". (the way they steep their bags interferes with the nice foam). We told him we were not in a hurry, so he left us alone until we needed to order. It was nice to not feel rushed.

The menu is extensive with lots of good choices. We ended up ordering a Salmon Frittata, and a standard "Eggs, Bacon, and Toast" plate. It didn't take much time to get our food (the place was kind of dead). It was hot, flavorful, an good portions. I enjoyed the fact that the smoked salmon (lox) was not cooked in the frittata, but place on top, cold. Our server kept showing up to freshen our hot beverages, and ensure everything was good.

My sister and her husband introduced me to this hidden gem, tucked away in a small shopping mall—you’d hardly know it was there. It’s a small, cozy place with absolutely amazing breakfasts. I’ve been back a few times just for that, and I’ve heard their Friday fish fry is supposed to be excellent too (I haven’t had a chance to try it yet). If you’re looking for a quiet spot with great food and friendly service, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Unfortunately, this place went down-hill. First, the server put in the wrong order at a more expensive combo price when I just ordered Ala Carte'. They reduced the size of their pancakes, and raised their prices. The pancakes were very under-cooked, and the extra crispy bacon I ordered was cold and rubber. When I questioned about the bill with the "combo" price the server was immediately confrontational. He was rude and quick to react as he reached into his tip pocket and anxiously yelled our "How much do you want back?". That took us by surprise as I only wanted to let him know that today's meal was disappointing and that I was charged incorrectly. Long story short, that was the last straw. As long-time customers, we won't be back.

We went this morning (Sunday), and were completely underwhelmed with our experience. Especially with a young child, we are not looking for a dining experience that’s over an hour and a half long. The high chairs are awful and so small. We could barely get our son in and out without him getting stuck. There is no changing table in either bathroom. With the number of families in the restaurant when we went, that was WILD. I’ve never been somewhere without a changing table.

Service was slow, and some of our food was missing, to which our server told us that we should have told her sooner that we didn’t receive all of our food. Honestly, that was pretty shocking when we hadn’t seen her since the food was dropped off. We just assumed the last of it would be brought in a second round. The eggs were very overcooked, and a $2 upcharge for hash browns is kind of nuts.

That said, the place is really cute. It was probably the best latte I’ve ever had from a restaurant, and the crepes were pretty good too. It has a lot of potential to be great but is not family friendly for those with young kids.

Both my husband and I have been here together and separate, with our sons. Every experience has been wonderful. The most recent was this morning. I was there with my husband and step son at 7 AM. Our server is ALWAYS fantastic and he takes amazing care of us! The food is always delicious and the coffee is spectacular!

I have dietary sensitivities to gluten, soy, nitrates and seed oils. Our server went out of his way to find out if the bacon has nitrates. The supplier was contacted to make sure it was nitrate free and this was STELLAR! Also, he gave us Americano’s for our first coffee as the original coffee was not ready!

I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! To go above and beyond like this is not a common thing anymore. Thank you for always being so kind!

I'm editing this. It's Tuesday night, we had breakfast here Sunday morning. If you read on you'll see I have a kid with a sensitive bottom. We needed to change him and there was nowhere for us to do this. He's raw and miserable 2.5 days later.
Please get a changing table!!! We simply cannot go to places without one!!!

This was a new place for us. We LOVED the food and the staff was phenomenal!! Add in that it's 6 miles from our house and it's great. Right? The problem. All parents will understand. We have a one year old and he's prone to diaper rash when we don't change his 💩 diaper quickly. He needed a change just as our food arrived. I grabbed him and my supplies and ran to the women's room. There was no changing table anywhere and zero counter space to lay my changing pad down. The dining area is an open concept and there was no where to do this. We won't be back until there is a changing table. To be honest there were quite a few kids in highchairs at the restaurant I can't believe the owners have made this huge oversight!!

The owner seems the responsive on these reviews. I had hoped to see this rectified quickly. Too bad they don't seem to care...we love some good eats and have another little one arriving this Spring. Guess we have to take this place off our list. 😥

Stopped here after working all night to hopefully get some good breakfast and go home…. Nope there coffee not even hot just barely warm and tbh terrible coffee. So then i see this brisket hash thought $20 this has to be good. You don’t get toast or hash browns you get 6 thin slices of boxed french dip meat that was microwaved a bowl full of sauce and 30 potato squares that are just mush when you get it. $30.00 i spent and note heading to McDonalds then brush my teeth to get that taste out from there brisket

My husband and I wanted to try a new ( for us) place for breakfast. My French toast was nicely done and came with an orange syrup that was a nice change. My husband, who never orders omelettes, did indeed get one. It was the meat omelette with red potatoes. He was pleased. The coffee is great. Miguel was our server. He was very helpful and attentive enough but not overly so. We have a gluten intolerant person in our family. We will bring her here soon. So happy to find a place that cares about your dietary restrictions. We also spoke the the friendly woman stirring coffee beans as they roasted. Good Eats Cafe had great food and a cute interior. My gluten free food was great, and my son also got gluten free crepes (even though he doesn’t need GF). My only complaint is the serving size wasn’t big enough for a growing teen, so he ended up order a second meal (making it a $30 breakfast). With that said, it’s probably fine for a person with a normal appetite. 😂

Went in for a meal today. The hostess was working her shift with her 8 month year old baby attached to her chest. Went to ask an employee to speak to the manager about it and turns out the hostess is the manager. The hostess/manager seems to think it's completely safe because she has a degree in criminology...what is going in this world? If it was completely safe and appropriate to bring your child to your job everyday, daycare facilities wouldn't need to exist. Unreal! Additionally, the owner's response below is a complete deflection of not wanting to address a poor management decision. My comment is absolutely relevant to the restaurant as it reflects the customers experience of your business operation. I have a doctorate in business. The last time we went to this restaurant it was incredible. Food was delicious and everything excellent.......HOWEVER......this time was way different. Our food was cold, I don't mean it cooled off while I was eating, it showed up cold. The house potatoes had some temp but they quickly cooled on the cold plate. We waited almost and hr for our food, their crab Benedict was disgusting. Crab patties were completely mush and was clearly frozen. The biscuits and gravy was disgusting biscuits were clearly frozen because they were burnt and hard on the outside and soft and cold in middle. The gravy was thin and runny except from the thinking on top from clearly sitting under the heat lamp for far to long. That also caused the oil to set on the edges around the gravy. The strawberry lemonade tasted moldy. Server was very nice but food was horrible will never go there ever again. It took us a long time to even find a server to pay and leave.

Ordered salmon eggs Benedict. The food was luke warm at best. I was told they could microwave it or prepare a fresh order. I opted for the fresh order and asked if they could make sure the salmon wasn’t overcooked.. The temperature was much better but the salmon had a very fishy taste and was overcooked. Really cute spot inside, but you’d never know it from the outside as it’s hidden in a strip mall. We went for the first time on Sunday for lunch & were seated immediately even though it was quite crowded. The food, was excellent! The service however, was extremely slow. It took nearly an hour from time of order to get our food. I’m not sure if this is the norm, if it was due to being busy on a Sunday or if they were short staffed so I can’t speak to that price of it. We’ll give it another shot at some point and see if the extra slow pace continues or if the service improves. The food, seriously, 10/10!

I found this place by chance, looking for a good salad. It exceeded my expectations. Super cute on the inside, staff is very attentive and courteous, and food is SO good. I usually get the Arugala and Frisee salad (the dressing is outstanding), but I just tried the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries (definitely recommend) . The food and drinks were ok. The server was friendly. She didn’t tell us anything about a “split plate fee”. They charged us $16 in fees for the 2 of us. I have to say: this is one of the best fish frys I've had. The cod was flavorful and didn't need tartar sauce. The potato pancakes had a touch of onion just like my grandma used to make. Just wonderful! That, and a $2 PBR during happy hour, was just like going to Moser's back in the old days (when I was young). ;-)

Excellent breakfast! I was at first hesitant to try the place but so glad I did. I enjoyed the burrito with hash browns. My companions loved the brisket hash and biscuits and gravy. The sunrise mimosa was exactly what I needed this morning. And the bloody Mary was well decked out. Definitely will be stopping here again each time I'm in town!

Great hot food, huge interesting menu. Great spaces indoor and outdoor. We didn't have the best coffee experience with a weak French press, but I think that was unique and the coffee generally looked really good. Good espresso drink. Fast service.

I’ve been here a handful of times so this is not based on a single visit. I really enjoy the food here but the service is really lacking. Visit before last my drink was forgotten and I had to ask and it was cold by the time it reached me. This time, we were seated but nobody came to take our order. After waiting quite a while I got up and asked if we could get a server and was asked if we were seated or seated ourselves. Not sure I’ll be back.

I was so looking forward to my first visit here.
My sister and I came in on aThursday for breakfast .
I ordered the avocado toast and two eggs medium.
My sister ordered the crab cake benedict with soft scrambled eggs which she specifically stated soft scrambled.
Well I could not have been more disappointed with this meal .
The toast was cold and soggy…avocado was all brown and unappealing…my eggs were very odd looking and like rubber …I could have flung them like frisbees…I am not joking .

My sister also was served hard scrambled eggs and crab cakes just average .

I guess what really topped it off was the waitress took our plates that were full of food we did not eat …she never even asked if we enjoyed our meal or was there something wrong with our meal since there was so much left on the plate .
Also why would the waitress ask me if I would like a coffee to go ?
We will not be back .

This is an expensive place for brunch. The coffee was excellent! The vegi hash with portobello mushrooms was good but most of the plate was potato.
I'd go back for the coffee alone!

Outside it looks bland but very nice place inside. Food was great. Coffee was great, not over roasted. Baked items were very good but slightly under done. We will be going back. Beignets were good but tasted more like doughnut holes.
