The burgers are advertised as smash burgers, but were frozen bubba burgers. They had the distinctive bubba burger shape and were not smashed whatsoever. It was pretty annoying that both online and on the menus they were falsely advertised. I would have happily paid what I did for a good smash burger, but that was not the case.

Additionally there was a Gordy’s employee from a different building who walked in after us and started chatting with the person pouring beers. When I went up to order with the person at the register, she shot me a dirty look and rolled her eyes. I guess I was supposed to wait for her to finish chatting so she could order? However, the location and view is fantastic.

Overall the experience was mid at best. Maybe I’ll give it another shot next weekend.

The food here sucks!! Been twice, the first time they messed up my order and it tasted like crap and the 2nd the fish and chicken was rubber and had a weird taste. Didn’t even taste right. The waitress was kind and it’s nice to sit on the water listening to music but don’t come here thinking the food is all that in Fontana.

Had Classic and Chu Cho burgers. Despite a pile of ingredients and $17 price, both were basically flavorless. Fries were good. Arrived at 3:40p with open tables, but they won’t seat anyone until 4:05p due to a shift change. Weird. Sat waterside at “Shore Shack”.

Located right on the water with an amazing outdoor deck and patio. That’s on the lakefront 5 feet from the water so you have direct waterfront views!! Love it here! 🩷❤️🩷❤️

The staff were very kind and our food was great! We had very quick service and it was nice to sit outside by the lake and enjoy the weather! We will definitely be coming back again!

If you’re wanting to sit outside and be amongst a lot of action, this is a great spot. Drink and dine while watching boaters, skiers, and others utilizing the lake and the marina. Good food, drink and service!

Came here on a Thursday afternoon to have lunch. Didn’t know they are now serving smash burgers, so of course I got the bacon one and a spotted cow on tap! Very good burger And fries!!! Of course can’t go wrong with the spotted cow beer ! Also the place has been updated and painted and it was so enjoyable sitting there looking out at the docks and lake. And less crowded than Gordys boat house outside bar on the street there.
Definitely will be going back 😊

If I could give this place a zero I would. High school kids running this place, not a clue in the world how to do anything. Awful service. Our burgers came out an hour after we ordered them, totally charred and not even edible. Such a cool location to have a chill grill, but they’re screwing it up royally. TERRIBLE!!!!

We stopped in the store Sunday to look at the wakeboards. Clerk didn't' leave her phone at the counter to see if we needed help. We asked to see a life jacket. She was quick to snap, the jacket was not lift guard approved and we could get pulled over for it. My daughter wanted to buy a Gordy's jacket like she had. The shop clerk was snappy & super rude telling her she needed to work here to get one. We were basically inconveniencing her phone time. Guess we will shop some where else.

Gordy is one of my favorite spots but today we were sitting at the surf shack across the street and right after we ordered drinks the girl running the bar came out and said everyone has to leave because she was done for the day. She wasn't nice about it either. Then she sat at a table and counted the money from her drawer. Just rude and poor management skills. Usually you get a last call notice. At a minimum let people finish the drinks they just ordered.
