We were in town for several days and had breakfast twice and dinner once. The food was absolutely wonderful. The chef came out after breakfast for a brief chat and was so nice and welcoming. She indicated the food is homemade and we definitely could taste it was. She even gave us a recommendation for another restaurant. Small town helping fellow businesses was refreshing. Definitely recommend!

Had a hard day at work and came home not wanting to cook, so I got their mushroom and Swiss burger with fries carryout. It was a Sunday around 6 pm, but my order was ready in about 15 min. Staff friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. Would recommend.

Very rushed service from female waitress... she never shared her name... dinner should be relaxing, not rushed. The prime rib was overcooked and very salty, and steak was tough... disappointed with a $60 meal.
Re: we did tell the server and she just shrugged it off and walked away. She shoulda got a manager or made right in some way for sure. It was Saturday supper time.

This would be a great date night spot. The new owner has put great effort, time, and thought into the decor and feel of the atmosphere. The menu is a perfect size, and what we choose tonight was very delicious and plentiful. I had the Saturday special New York strip, and my husband had the prime rib, and both were very good. We look forward to coming back to try some more selections. As my streak had a great charbroil taste, and the loaded mashed potatoes were delectable. My husband was thoroughly impressed with the prime rib and said that he would order it again. Really want to come in for breakfast. Hope that now that Granite Falls Supper club has returned, it will stay a town and area favorite for all.

Very disappointed. We were eager to visit because my mom had been there many times in the past with her grandparents years back and wanted to experience it again. We quickly found out this wasn’t the same supper club she remembered. My dad and I ordered Brandy Old Fashioned sweets and they were not sweet at all. When we asked the waitress if their soda gun was out and if we could get our drinks redone, she came back with our original drinks and said the bartender topped it off with more sprite to make it sweeter. Although it was sweeter, it was watered down and still not great. We got clam chowder with our fish fries. It was very subpar - watery and super peppery. I will say the one good thing that came out of this dinner was the fish. All of us throughly enjoyed our fish fry. But, the garlic bread tasted like the same Great Value stuff I buy from Walmart. Unfortunately all my mom’s good memories there from the past with her grandparents were erased with this unsavory experience. After seeing your unprofessional responses to other unhappy guests’ reviews, I can’t wait to see what you come up with for me.

Really enjoyed this spot. Food was tasty, beer was cold, atmosphere is typical rural Wisco bar. It’s under new ownership as of 2024, and the owner (Bill) was our bartender. This is not the same place on the online advertising. First it is NOT, I repeat NOT a Supper Club. It is a bar restaurant at best. I saw the menu online and was ready for their seafood platter. It doesn't exsist and neither do the steaks, ribs, seafood or escargot and many other item from the "old" menu. The pictures of the food when you google search do not exsist either. NOT the same place. I should have realized Supper Clubs don't serve breakfast. This is a little bit more than a Diner with a bar but not worth the trip.

Will be a nice supper club when the get going. Only offering perch, shrimp, and haddock for supper with with various preparations. I had the deep fried haddock, Mom had backed haddock with lemon pepper. Breakfast and lunch menu good. Stopped at Granite Falls Supper club in Montello for breakfast today as my Dad was visiting me he had the country fried steak and american fries his plate was so full he didn't know where to start potatoes are freshly cut and you can tell. I had eggs and hash browns everything was delicious and service was great. I recommend giving them a try for breakfast or lunch as I will be making this my new breakfast place. Also the price is very reasonable can't wait until they are open for dinner. Glad it has a new owner

From the water carafe with lemon, relish tray, fresh drinks from the bar, salad with fresh ingredients - what a great start.

We ordered a 2 piece cod dinner with a loaded baked potatoes. The fish was lightly battered, flaky and hot!
The potato arrived hot and flavorful!

Granite Falls was an awesome supper club! The decor is incredible. These historic downtown supper clubs almost don't exist anymore and not with this style. The service was fast and professional. The old fashioned was one of my favorites in years. The food was good, bothe the chicken and the fish. They are low on staff and they tell you that upfront but really the service at our table of four was fast. We will definitely be back.

Labor day weekend 2023, walked in and was told there are only 2 people working so it will be a long wait, which we understood. But he then said he hadn't cleaned the tables, so we said we could sit in bar, and he said good it's closer for him. His whole personality showed he was annoyed we walked in, so we were courteous and ordered drinks, he came back for our food order and we said no, we changed our minds. We had a group of 12. Steak was listed on the menu as ribeye, but several of us agreed they were not ribeyes. The New York strip on the menu was not a New York strip, and the receipt showed it as a petite ribeye. It wasn't a ribeye either... 2 orders were forgotten in the kitchen, one of them came out late, the second we never received and just cancelled it. Steaks were not cooked as requested, mine was borderline raw instead of medium. Mashed potatoes were luke warm. Shrimp fettuccine alfredo didn't have any shrimp. We waited about 15 minutes for the waitress to take our orders, the place was NOT crowded. Waited about 1/2 hour for our food. Cocktails were amazing though!

This Supper Club is a gem in downtown Montello! A visit to my parents who live nearby always includes dinner and an Old Fashioned at a local Supper Club (which can sometimes mean a 45min - 1 hr drive to one of the many popular clubs available). What a wonderful addition this restaurant makes to this quaint little town! I had to write a review because a restaurant like this is much needed here! It is definitely worth a visit.

You feel like you’re transported back to the 1920’s when you walk in, with original tile ceiling and speakeasy type atmosphere with a beautiful bar to sit at and order your drink before taking it back to your table.

The business owner mixes her own old fashioned mix, so although I usually like my drink sour, I thought it was a bit too sour so went with a sweet and it was just right. My martini was spot on. She even had Shlitz beer on tap! My mom loves the homemade mulled cider. I ordered the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection and all meals served with a complementary relish tray.

The staff was super friendly and prompt. Prices align with other supper clubs in Wisconsin, Dells area. Like any supper club, arrive early so you can get your drinks during happy hour and claim a table.

We always love our trips to Wisconsin to see mom and dad, and this place is now a new favorite. Can’t wait to go back! ❤️

I ordered a filet mignon and lobster tails. It was amazing!! I ordered Cajun seasoning on my steak but didn't really taste it which was fine because the steak was so good!! I ordered it md rare and it was perfect. Topped with mushrooms, The lobster tails were good as well. The side salad was awesome. I never did get to my fries or bread lol. Ordered an old fashion sweet and it was seriously the best old fashion I have had in a while. The waitress was friendly enough. Not too busy. Seemed to serve friends over strangers. Sat for over an hour, with only a small salad. Lame excuse about waitress went home sick. 10 minutes later, waitress appeared with a different excuse. Will never go back. Go down the highway to Mikey's in Harrisville. Dodge the deer on Hwy B, it's worth the trip!

Update: Received an apology and offer to come back . I will revise my review after I try it again, but with a different dinner guest. My guest from that evening refuses to return.

We looked up menu online it was completely different when we arrived. Prices were much higher. An entire page of the menu listed pizza and different options. When I tried to order pizza I was told they didn’t have pizza. I asked why. I was told no pizza oven. As she walked away she told me rudely to order something else.

The realization is this, you will never make everybody happy.If you are in a hurry and money is an issue this is not the place to be.You need to understand the times we are in nowadays that patrons are greater than employees. I have red reviews on children not welcomed at the Supper Club and I have grandchildren that I love immensely but there are plenty of times that I would prefer to go out for a nice meal and not have to listen to children screaming. That does not mean that I do not love children.. so our meal had taken awhile to get but we were not in a hurry.... Our waitress apologize and asking if we needed anything. Towards the end of our meal she had offered us an after dinner drink or dessert on the house..... My lobster and steak was delicious. It was made perfect and the other guest I was with enjoyed their meals just as well. We don't mind spending a little extra if the dinner is good. So to sum up my review, if you want to go out for an adult night with some friends getting together and having good cocktails before dinner, great meal, beautiful atmosphere and relax this is your place....

We're doing a Supper Club tour and tried Granite Falls. The decor was great old-school Supper Club, excellent Old Fashions and food! Even the music in the bar area was fantastic. Highly recommend this Supper Club and we'll be back.

Was a favorite growing up in the summers in Montello. Place turned into a real dump then was closed for almost 3-4 yrs. Now reopened under new owners. Place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside. Super super nice bar. Food is available til late! Who would have thought Montello has a place willing to serve after 9pm! Love it we will be regulars again!

We were here in Montello for the weekend. Had a fantastic night/dinner out first night when we came. Got to chit chat with the owners, they are very friendly and absolutley hilarious. Had a great time getting to know them. The second night was great, had a few drinks and made us feel very welcomed and had a fantastic time. Will definitely be coming back here when in town. Dawn and her husband were definitely the highlight!!

Driving through Montello on our way home, we saw the supper club and it drew us in. When we sat down they came with a small tray of veggies and dip. Great surroundings and music, an old movie played above the bar. The owner gave us the history of the building,
built in 1900. We decided to splurge on a steak and were rewarded by a delicious ,tender steak, lots of mushrooms, a mixed greens salad. This was a great find;great food and atmosphere, good and friendlyerviceWe'll definitely be ack!

Was there 3 weeks ago drinks were subpar. Had 38 dollar ribeyes Not cooked properly. Mashed potatoes cold replaced with new potatoes with onions on top. Hate onions! Cook came out and agreed stakes not done properly and laughed about it. Bland food.

It is their prerogative if they want to or are able to serve children and that is fine; but their less then professional comments about children and trash in the town of Montello is distasteful. I will always have fond memories of GFSC when our whole family had gatherings there, but that is what they will remain; memories.

Owners agree that children, AKA “crotch goblins” are not welcome and should be taken to the McDonald’s drive-thru instead of spoiling the dining experiences of their ultra elite clientele. The food here is excellent. We live in the area and have dined here several times and loved everything we have had...The management/customer service is questionable at best.
Was told tonight they "dont do carryouts/ curbside when its busy". I thought all restaurants did carryout? Busy or not. This is a strange practice indeed. Also isn't it easier to box something up than have a table dine in?
A business' success depends more on just whether or not the food is good. You have to treat your customers like you want their business. Busy or not.

My boyfriend and I were excited to try a local superclub, but we ended up EXTREMELY disappointed. We got there as soon as they opened and had to seat ourselves. Then 10 minutes went by before a snack try was brought out, and another 10 minutes before we got our water. We were never asked if we wanted anything besides water to drink, and then waited another 10 minutes before our food order was taken(we were the only ones in the restaurant as well). We finally placed our orders and I payed 24 dollars for 8oz fried cod(that came out baked instead of fried, slimy and bland). Even the "toast" that came with the meal was soaked in butter and rubbery. We were never checked up in during our meal(still being the only ones in the restaurant), even our water glasses went empty and we left hungry after finishing our small, overpriced portion. I would not call this place a supperclub. The menu wasn't even a menu. Bars in Wisconsin have WAY better food and service. I will never be coming back to this place. I would leave zero stars if I could.

Having high expectations based on a friends recommendation, we were excited to try a local supper club. However after being seated, 10 minutes passed before our drink order was taken, then the drinks were delivered and for a wisconsin establishment the old fashions were subpar(no garnish or fruit muddled). Another 10 min passed and we received a snack plate. That was our only food for the evening as we waited another 15 minutes and no order was taken. We paid for our drinks and Left to find food elsewhere. If only the staff was more attentive we would have stayed for the high priced dinner.

Ok, three stars is rough, but the ONLY reason was that it took sooooooooo long to get our food. They did make it right by buying a round of drinks, so I feel bad about the three stars. Our steaks were great, the service was awesome. The loaded potatoes were tasty. The atmosphere of the joint was special. A mixture of old and new, kitschy and straight. We loved it.
