I came from out of town and this looked like a nice bakery. I walked in and the person in front of me was handed two cinnamon rolls, I asked for the same but those were the last ones apparently, which is fine but EVERYTHING on their menu was unavailable and only a few items on open trays were for sale. Not sure why they were even open at that point. They had a few cookie options and a couple brownies out. Super disappointed.

I seriously love Great Harvest in Beaver Dam. I’ve tried the Cuban sandwich, the chipotle turkey, and a few of their bakery treats—and everything has been amazing. The bread is so fresh, the sandwiches are packed with flavor, and the bakery items are just as good. I could honestly eat here every day. The staff is always super friendly too. Just an all-around great spot!

I go here quite often. Everything is fresh, and the bakery has new cheesecake flavors every week. The cheesecake is silky and smooth and not too sweet. They also have a large variety of coffee. I will definitely be back, especially for the garlic knots. I recommend heating those, but they're good either way.

Went there twice last week. As usual, the sandwiches I had were very good. Disappointed with the cinnamon chip monkey bread. Just a few chips sprinkled on top and none in the rest of the bread. Ditto disappointment with the almond raspberry babka. Almost no filling, just a thin amount of raspberry jam. Almonds just sprinkled on top. For $8.50/loaf, the quality should be better.

One of the best things on the menu in my opinion are the almond croissants. I went in bright and early this morning to specifically get a croissant for my wife who loves them. I was told that they were still baking but were all already sold and that none would be available. Very odd business model that you wouldn’t make more knowing that the original batch was already sold.

My breakfast sandwich had a long white hair in it.

Ordered the "loaded ham" and the ham slice was 2 very thing deli slices. There was virtually no ham at all. Food was flat out cheap and the coffee was very cheap.

My girlfriends coffee was made incorrectly. The only reason I didn't put 1 star for the service was because the young man was very courteous.

No option to dine in and not use disposable dishes, so the place is not eco-friendly whatsoever.

The atmosphere screamed cheap. Only decent thing was the bread on the sandwich. For the price of a 10$ sandwich and 30$ breakfast total, we will not be coming back again.

We used to order from here a lot, and I still really like it, but I haven't been able to order through the app since Spring, and the online ordering through Door Dash hardly has anything on the menu. Rather than drag the whole family, we like to order pick-up, but they've made it increasingly difficult to do so. Also, the last few times we've had sandwiches there, the bread has not been toasted enough, and is soggy. The scones here are phenomenal, as are most of the baked goods. The Chill Marias are one of my favorite drinks anywhere. We used to buy loaves of the Sourdough, because that's amazing as well, but I really wish they'd start taking orders on the app again.

I usually love coming here, but this past time was quite a bust (11/30/2023). I'm not a super frequent customer, but every couple of months I'll go in 3-5 times within a week or two to get my bread fix, so I know what I want and I have an ingrained idea of what I get will taste like. I got a chill maria coffee today and it was SO strange. It tasted a bit different just in general to usual, but mainly it had this weird acidic aftertaste. Not bitter like coffee, but a lingering acidic taste that made me wonder if their milk had gone bad under their nose. It left me with some fierce heart burn after just a few sips, never happened before! I also got a Turkey Gobbler, which is my favorite sandwich and I get one every time I come. But this time the egg in it was only partially cooked. And not in a awesome runny egg way, but the egg yolk and white were both pooling out of the center cut of the sandwich. I love a good runny yolk, but the slimy texture of undercooked egg whites is intolerable. The turkey was also not quite the same? It seemed much more generic deli meat than the nicer stuff they used to use. I'm not sure if they were just having an off day today, or if something actually changed, but the food was pretty horrible this time around. On a plus side, as usual the service is great, the place is clean and well organized, and the bread selection is still amazing.

My main two complaints about my visit today are that there were no menu prices, and honestly, when I received my meal, the price to quality ratio was a bit off. I paid $17 and some change for what is pictured close to $18. I went into the harvest bread co fully knowing they make their own bread and is a bit of an upper scale cafe due to those reasons. I know once upon a time they had menu prices and a soup and sandwhich combo. Today, however, there were no menu prices, so by the time the cashier gave me my total, i felt it was embarrassing to leave. I felt inclined to pay. I thought the quality of the meal would make up for the steep price. I was a bit floored when I received a mid sandwhich and less than mid chicken soup. My small chicken soup had about 6 or 7 pieces of noodle, and to my surprise, no chicken! I used the provided crackers to add a little more substance. The sandwhich of the month, which was a philly cheese with peppers, was very mid, nothing special that made up for the price. Come in expecting to pay a mark up on in-house bread and in-house mayo.

Visited this bakery this morning. Just ordered a couple bakery items and latte. The flavor and texture of the muffin and scone we ordered was excellent. The scone was a bit more cake like than most scones we’ve had but it was delicious. The latte was excellent! Prices were great. For a bakery item and large latte it was under $8. You can eat inside. They also have a pretty good sized outside area for eating for a bakery which is where we ate. Saw quite a few carry outs while we were eating. We are just passing through Beaver Dam. If you are looking for a bakery this is a must try. We will definitely hit up this bakery again before we leave the area!

OMG 😃!! This place is so good!! Great Harvest created a really FUN and comfortable environment for everyone. I had a business lunch meeting here and saw the mayor of Beaver Dam reading in a nook area!

Such a bright inviting place! Chairs out on the patio, that's dog friendly! ❤️ Decorated so fun, a good mix of different colors and fabrics. I ordered the classic ham biscuit with added avacado. Baja veggie had the bare minimum of vegetables including shredded iceberg lettuce. Turkey goddess was almost the same but had turkey on it. Bread is low quality for $8/loaf. You don't always get the bread you ask for on your sandwich. The patio is loud, unless you are alone. Prices are too high for the quality. I will stick with Jimmy John's when in town this.
