Very good food! Only thing I would add is that if someone in the dining party has a cane, please don't sit them clear across the restaurant. We were led past about 20 empty tables for a table all clear across the restaurant from the door. I understand there might be reasons (balance out number of diners per servers, for example, but it was hard for my husband to walk that whole way.)

Our server was more focused on the clients at the bar then our table. She came over once the whole time we were there from start to finish. Our food was brought out by someone else. Drinks were never filled and I had to flag a different waitress down just to get to go containers. She conveniently showed up to give us the check though.

Overall, it's a good restaurant. Our main dishes looked so good, I forgot to snap pictures of them. The bread and butter they brought out before the meals was top-notch. My wife said the chicken Marsala was "perfect." My pizza was quite good, I did enjoy the "special seasoning" for the crust. It was a thick pizza and quite saucey, just the way I like it. Good price and good tasting, what else would you want?

This review is not meant to reflect poorly on the waitress as she did the best job she could have.

We came in for lunch today and the restaurant was understaffed. The waitress was also the bartender, the manager was running food. Forty minutes after ordering we were told that our food was delivered to another table. We did not have time to stay and wait for our lunch to be cooked over.

Hudson has to many good restaurants to go to one with poor service (not the first time at this Green Mill).

Visited this place on a work trip. They had the absolute best Spinach Dip I have ever had in a restaraunt. The portion size was larger than expected making the meal a decent value for the price. The staff were all very friendly and did a great job with everything.

We ordered two pizzas, cheese bread, and drinks. We got cheese bread and drinks. After an hour the waitress came back and asked us if we had finished eating or if we had never got our food. She went back and checked, said it would be 5-10 minutes. 30 minutes later, she came out with the wrong pizza. I told her we just wanted to pay for what we have gotten so far, so we could leave. The manager came over to take the pizzas off our bill and walked away without saying anything. The waitress said it wasn't her fault, she swore she turned it in. No apologies, no discount. No care about our experience at all. We will never be back. Worst service I have received in a long time. Wish I could give them zero stars, one seems too many.

I have loved green mill for 30 years so when I get back to hudson I have tried to stop in but I can say the service has not been very good. I understand they are busy but the last 3 times in about 7 months it has been rough. I hope they can figure it out. Once again they had to take an item off because it was mixed up. My husband and I visit here every time we travel, we order the bruschetta and cheese curds both are very good and fresh. The sweet heat street tacos are made with perfectly cooked chicken and the slices of avocado are fresh every single time. The inside is a little outdated but still a nice relaxing atmosphere.

I have been here several times over the years. The mozzarella sticks are really good, and I loved the thick marinara sauce. My son liked the spaghetti meatballs, and the Prime rib cheesesteak is fine. I didn't like the cheese sauce that much.

Went to try and get some food, as my friends and I normally enjoy their pizzas. Instead we got seated, then proceeded to wait over half an hour for our server. They never did show up, or even have an employee talk to us after we were seated. Ended up just leaving instead. Absolutely crazy to see people seated, order, and served food all before you even have a waiter take a drink order or say hi.

Our server was great. I decided to give Green Mill a second try after 20 years to see if the food got any better. Sadly, it did not. We had pizza, tacos, and cheese bread. I would recommend that if you want to eat Italian food, skip this place because it definitely does not taste like Italy. Had deep dish pizza. It was overcooked. Plenty of sauce, but very little spinach, cheese, pepperoni or mushrooms. The mushrooms were burnt and chewy like leather. The service was okay. we waiting a long time for our pizza to get to our table. We probably about 45 minutes to an hour. We we're the only people waiting for a pizza. We lost the green mill in our town some time ago. It was our favorite app spot, so we felt the loss. We ordered the spinach dip. And we each had wings. I had the Extreme jerk bone-in wings( so hot, yet flavorful). And my wife had the Diablo sauce, boneless wings. They are sweet with a little back door heat.

We were not empressed with our service. Our waiter was not good with the service. We sat down ordered our drinks after sitting there for 20 minutes. After a short while he brought our drinks weordered our appetizers and food. 30 minutes later we received our food . We had our appetizers brought with our meal. After about 10 min we had to find our server and ask for our bread that comes with ourmealand sauce for our wings and refills on our drinks . The was only a total of 12 people in the restaurant including us. The manager brought out our bread and I told her that the service was bad she said she was sorry and would get our drinks and sauce. I told her that we had to find someone to get our silverware because our waiter didn't even provide it for us. She brought our drinks ect out and said she spoke to our waiter and he would check on us soon. Never seen him until we asked another person to have him bring our check and again we waited for him to take payment but he didn't stop at our table. Had to go to the bar and the guy there took our check and payment to our waiter. Our waiter came out and slid it across the bar and walked away. We signed the recite and left. Not a thank you or anything. Wow! Never again will I ever done here again.

This was organized by the Hudson Senior Center.
The lunch was very good and our server Brie was excellent!

We were going to dine in with a fairly large group and had made tentative reservations at the Green Mill in Hudson Wisconsin
Our plans changed, and instead we ordered five large pizzas to go they handled it very efficiently even gave us some paper plates and napkins and some Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Service was wonderful very friendly. And the pizza was great.
