My husband & I went around 6:30 on a Friday night. It was pretty busy but we were able to be seated right away. The servers were very friendly & service started out great, but it went downhill pretty fast. Everyone was still super nice, but maybe they were short staffed because we always had to wave someone down to get another drink or the bill. I ordered the fried haddock with fries & it was very good. My husband ordered the Honey Jack Chicken Wrap & was disappointed. He mentioned that the cheese was not melted & there was not much sauce, or it was masked by something else. I thought the coleslaw had a strong vinegar taste so it could've been that.
I've been here before & it was good so I'll still go back. Just an off night.

We were driving through the area and wanted to grab lunch and a beer. They had a nice selection of rotating taps and a nice cocktail menu. I had a build yourself burger that was very good. Cheese,bacon, and even sauce was extra$. Wife had the PABST made into a wrap, also very good. She did say the sweet potato fries were excellent.

It's been a while since our last time there. Intially, the server was right on top of taking our drink order, delivering drinks, and taking our food order. Food delivery was quick, server came back ONCE after about 5 minutes then disappeared off the radar screen. Eventually...like way after being done eating... a DIFFERENT server came and cleared plates and brought the bill. What the h*ll happened to the original server??? NOT a good system. Food was good but nothing to rave about. I had the Friday Haddock, it was tasty but the portion seemed to be a lot less than the last time. Probably be a while again before going back.

The tots, cheese curds, and wings were perfect. Crispy and tasty. The Jamican Jerk chicken Sandwich and the blackened chicken sandwich were both delicious. However, they had small chicken portions, so it was a lot of bread. In addition, one of the wings was bone no meat piece that shouldve been tossed out. They deducted it from the recipt though. The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms as well. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

We stopped at Greene’s Pour House at the Granary during a road trip from Milwaukee to Wausau, hoping to find something unique and local instead of the usual interstate fast food. Although it was a bit off the beaten path, driving through the university area and catching glimpses of the river made for a charming detour.

The venue itself had a real great atmosphere, and the selection of beers on tap was impressive. From Wisconsin staples like Spotted Cow to an array of microbrewery options, there was something for every beer lover.

For appetizers, we went with a dozen wings (dry rub, lemon pepper) and a pretzel served with beer cheese and honey mustard dips. The wings were solid—good size and cooked well—but the dips were the real stars. The beer cheese, in particular, was some of the best I’ve had, rich and flavorful.

Being Friday in Wisconsin, I couldn’t pass up the fish fry. It was decent—not the best I’ve ever had, but still satisfying. I swapped the fries for tots, which turned out to be a great choice.

Despite it being a busy Friday night, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We waited about 15–20 minutes for a table but were given the option to dine at the bar, which was a nice touch.

Overall, Greene’s Pour House is a great spot if you’re looking for good beer, great appetizers, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Definitely worth the detour!

It was very educational. My wife and I ordered a burger with a side of fried pickles and loaded tots to share. Extremely disappointing. Last time she ordered the loaded tots it was at least twice as big (hence us planning to share). As it was we were charged over $17.00 for a handful of tater tots with a piece of crumbled bacon, some sour cream drizzled over them and a few green onion pieces. Maybe our fault for expecting consistency ? The pickles were greasy and had no flavor. The burger was undercooked. If we had ordered this at the restaurant there is no way we would have paid for it. The jalapenos on the burger were very fresh, though not very spicy. We ended up tossing everything and making a box of Mac-N-Cheese. Could have saved our selves $43.00 if we had done that in the first place. Live and learn I suppose.

The service is poor. I only saw my waitress/bartender one time when she brought out my food she never came back to see how anything was. And then I was overcharged I ordered the half and half. It comes with a half of sandwich and side. she charged me for the soup. She said they changed their policies so why do they call it a half and half????? Soup is an upgrade???????? What a rip-off!

So on a Sunday afternoon past peak time (1:30), the place was about half full, but most tables were just finishing up. There were 6 of us and we found a seat right away. I took my menu pictures at 1:35, but it wasn't until 2:20 that our food finally came out. So minus a star for that. I usually understand a busy kitchen, but the server never came to check on us or let us know how much longer the wait would be after giving us our drinks until our food came out.

I started out with the bad, but everything else was great.

The food wasn't the most stellar, but good, and the vi best were pretty cool. I wasn't feeling a beer this particular day, but they have an awesome selection of drafts and I would love to come back to try some.

My wings with the bone dust rub was really good (I think I had the best dish from among my group) and the side of parmesan garlic sauce was good too, but I'd like to try something else next time.

Hubby had the pour house burger, and said it was a good burger. I just realized that I didn't get a taste of it. But whatever sauce it was that came with his side of sweet potato fries were SO GOOD!

Everyone else said their food was good.

The server who took our order and brought our drinks was still around when our food came out, but he didn't bring our food. Samantha took care of us afterwards, and was quite efficient and nice once the food all came out.

Note that they will charge you an extra 2.9% for credit card payments. This is a pet peeve of mine.

So let me start off with saying I rented an apartment a block away from this place when I was at UW Oshkosh from 2012-16. This was completely abandoned and I always wondered what was inside.

Just had moved to Oshkosh invited adult children from Appleton to try out new place. Horrible waitress service. I took my family here for my birthday, remembering how good the pizza is! We opted to get something other than pizza. My family is reluctant to complain because we were all so happy to be together. All of our food (fries, burgers, prime rib sliders) were lukewarm. We would have all sent it back, but we've all worked the industry. Microwaved food is almost as bad as lukewarm. Recently enjoyed a Friday fish fry here! We both had the perch, and it was excellent! We then stayed and watched a Badger Game, as well as a Brewer Game! They gave prizes out for the Badger Game, as well as shots! We also game back on Sunday for the Packer Game! It was so much fun, with give away’s once again! First time there. The food was bomb, explosions of flavor! Had the Pour House Appetizer. You could pick any 3 combination. Fries were automatic with it. The food is good. Service was a bit slow both times and inconsistent. What really annoyed me, though, is the 3% up charge to pay with a card and a suggested tip of 25-35% on the bill. I thought the standard was 15%? I usually tip at least 20%, and now i'm a cheapskate. I realize costs have gone up, so food prices are going to be higher. Wages also went up to attract servers, so the people working there should be making significantly more than 2-3 years ago-hence, additional price increases. Now a meal that used to cost my family $90-100 ($108-120 w/ tip) is costing $120-140 and with the increased tip and transaction fee, it takes it to $154-$208 -for a lunch, with two kids sharing a plate! Ok, you win this time. But this is a big reason why foot traffic is down. People are choosing to eat out less because the experience isn't worth the cost.

Nice location, looks brand new! Food was tasty, the chicken wings were HUGE, interesting, flavorful beer selection. This was a weird smell first walking in that was a little off putting, but I overheard a server say they turned the heat on for the first time. Maybe that's all it was 🤷🏼‍♀️

This place is awesome. My first time to visit with many more to come. The staff is extremely friendly with great knowledge about their drinks and food.
