Did not honor posted price. Fries were listed on the display for $3.99. (We had already bought sandwiches AND tipped them even though it was takeout.) They charged $5.99 for the fries. When questioned, the manager came out and said "prices changed yesterday " No smile, no apology, no offer of honoring the listed price this once. Then he turned away and updated the display as we watched and walked back into the kitchen. Worst customer service I've had in years! We did not buy fries and are looking for a new gyro place.

Tried for the first time yesterday, and I was blown away by the flavor and portions for the value! I was excited to try a gyro from here based on the great reviews, but I was sadly disappointed. The tzatziki sauce was NOTHING like tzatziki sauce, and the sauce is my favorite part! I make tzatziki sauce and it is phenomenal, so I can’t believe a gyro restaurant can’t do a decent job. The meat also does not seem to have the traditional flavors of gyro meat at all. The fries were good, but what was supposed to be feta cheese did not seem like feta at all. I was left unsatisfied and confused.

My husband and I ate Parthenon fans, so we went in with mediocre expectations. The gyro gyro meat was piled high, flavorful, and moist. Pita bread was more fluffy than Parthenon’s but fresh and good. Could’ve used more tomatoes. I don’t eat onions, but my husband does and they used red onions. He said white would’ve been better. Fries were as good as Parthenon if not better. Food in general could’ve been warmer. We ate in the restaurant. There are about five tables and the atmosphere is not great. Boxes of product sitting around by the tables. I can’t recall the cost of the meal which didn’t come with a drink, but the portion size was enough for two people!’

Wow, food was incredible and flavorful. I’ve been seeing the east coast Halal food trucks all over my social media and Gyro Guyz seems very similar. I got the mix bowl, meat was perfect and plenty of seasoning. The white sauce is so good and there was plenty of it. Make sure to get hot sauce, I did mine on the side…it’s similar to a sambal hot sauce. I also got hummus and falafel but have not tried it yet bc the portion size of the bowl was more than generous and definitely worth the price. For $6 the hummus seems to also be a good portion. Ordering online was easy and service was very friendly when picking up. Will definitely be back!

Honestly I am really really picky with Mediterranean food and this is hands down the best place in Madison in my opinion!! Everything was loaded with flavor without being loaded with just salt and you get giant portions for what you pay. The combo bowl and the loaded fries are the best!! The only comment I have is the fries are in the same bowl as the rest and so they get really soggy for takeout options and it’s difficult to separate them from the rest of the bowl to crisp them up by themselves. Not that big of a deal when it’s so phenomenal otherwise!

I ordered takeout and got the Gyro Lunch Bowl with Greek Fries (instead of salad). It was excellent! Great value too.

The bowl comes with Gyro meat, rice, white sauce and a couple small pieces of pita. You have a choice of side. The default is salad, but I changed to Greek fries. The fries were crispy and topped with cheese and more white sauce.

Everything was seasoned well and very satisfying.

I decided to try this place after reading all the raving reviews But I think their quality came up to short, yes, the French fries are great, nice, and crispy great seasoning. I am a gyro person personally it's one of my favorite foods. So I was excited to try this place but it just wasn't all there for my liking the meat was thick and the pita was just barely warm the portion was good but too big to bite into. Also, I ordered an extra tzatziki bc who doesn't love it, but the sauce and it's just a white runny sauce. There's no texture creaminess or bits of cucumber. The place is reasonably sized with seating and service was fast.

The falafel were crunchy, the chicken and gyro meat were well seasoned, and I got a ton of food for the price.

The west side definitely needs a solid gyro option and Gyro Guyz made a great first impression on me.
